I believe what's happening with the void fog at the end is that since your max hp is so low (less than 1, but not low enough to round to 0, evidenced from you still having 1 total hp even with barrier) and Void fog deals damage based on a percentage of your health, it doesn't hit a point where the damage dealt is 1 (enough to kill you)
The awnser to void not killing you lies in glass Void does % of max health damage per tick Your max health is 1 So you take like 0.1 damage Wich rounds down to 0
the answer to the void damage question: Void damage is %of max HP based, the % it ticks for increases the longer youre in the void, and the game rounds numbers down, so unless you stayed in the void long enough that it deals 100% of your max HP ( which was 1) youre gonna be taking 0 damage, the same thing applies whether you use transcendence or glass to get that low
17:45 the reason the void damage didn’t kill you is because it does damage based on %max health. Because your max health was 1, it’d take tens of minutes before the sickness scaled to do 100% per tic, so it was stuck doing 0 dps

So white items have 30 items normally, so you would pick up a white item and get one 30th of every white item. Alternatively you could have every item be the average of every item from all rarities. What if every item was... average?
i think the best thing would be if you added a mod (i forgot the name) that stop items from transforming into void items, that way you ACTUALLY have 1 of EVERY item, voided and non-voided
Actually I have played many runs with a mod that decreased it's cool down by 1/50 per stack and it still left me with plenty of items. Also I was picking it up during first 4 minutes of each run.

Ego would honestly be better if the amount of time between taking an item was reduced per stack, so that it just slurps all of your items once it gets to a certain point.

yeah that's what we figured. There was just too much going on at the time for me to start processing it lol
If you stay in it too long, the damage ramps up past 100% max hp per tick and you finally take 1 damage and die

It wasn't an item that kept you from dying to the void DoT. Void DoT deals %MaxHP damage; your max health was just so low the damage rounded to 0.
