Let’s not forget that in order to pay a heavy debt, Krai’s only options were to take Sitri as his bride, arrest her, or become her husband. What does he do? Jokingly try to get the money from poor Tino
_Tino just keep taking straight L's in this, man!_ 😭 And she was so excited and happy to get a task from her "God", only to find out he just wants to take her money to pay off his own debt. 😥 Like, it's comedic, but at the same time it's genuinelly heartbreaking, cause you feel SO BAD for the poor girl!
This episode left some things out. Krai could've straight up killed Arnold and his team if he wanted to. That relic Krai had Lucia enchant with a spell is no joke. Krai did spot some clan members from Obsidian but they ran away from him. During Chloe's flashback Luke constantly sought out Krai's approval that's what mainly got her interested in him. In the LN Liz and Sitri's inner thoughts are revealed and this is where they said they know Krai isn't stronger than Arnold but know he'd never lose to him. And that they are completely devoted to him.
Kray saying he wants to eat a legendery dragon like a simple McDonald's burger order from Door Dash. The man show the max level Disrepecting like the most common thing to him.
Props to Tino stepping up to someone who's way above her in level and strength, although the people around watching might question Krai's judgement. Sitri and Liz working together to become Krai's wives is scary.
Making a Pokemon comparison, it's like they were saying _"BRUH! He just sent out a Pachirisu to face a maxed out Steelix! Who does bro think he is, Ash Ketchum?!"_ 🤣 Brandon is right. From an outsider's perspective, Krai's actions make no goddamn sense!
It was omitted in anime so i think its fine to say it. Fun fact the reason cry said dragon tastes good with teriyaki sause is literally because his crew slew so many of them and often just ate them that he is USED TO thinking of them as meat. And Citry cooked them dragon with teriyaki sause for everyone in the wild so for cry its a good memory like 'that one barbecue party with friends'. Also after citry saw a request for dragon she explained to cry that they only cooced it because there was no softer meet like chicken, so she made him teriyaki chicken. And it led to cry telling others that chicken tastes better. So literally the man just wanted that tasty teriyaki. And everyone just went with this 'oh he is baiting them' theme and drove the nail home.
It was cool of you to expand on that, yet I love how we can pretty much guess that overall context just by the circumstances of the story and how they are presented. "Damn, Krai is treating dragons like they're easy meat? _Well, it makes sense considering who his party is."_
@MrDibara well sometimes those details are picked by people sometimes not. I thought it might be good to add on details. 😃 After all the whole thing is hilarious.
In the manga it's even funnier. When Tino was fighting, Krai saw Sven that was actining like he didn't see anything and runaway with his party because he didn't want to be a part of the comotion.
Honestly? Props to him, bro knows what is best and keeps his group safe. I'm really loving the side characters of this show! Sven, Arnold, even the trio from the beginning that Tino lead on that suicide quest by Krai _(thanks, slothman),_ they all at first give this vibe of "they're going to be pretty generic and one note", but then not too long after the show genuinelly makes them very cool characters to watch! Their interactions, their thoughts, the way they think they feel... it's like a slap to our faces for judging them as simple stereotypes and I love it!
@@MrDibara I really like everyone in this show, except for Krai. In my *opinion* his character is the absolute worst kind of "humor". I don´t care that he´s "weak" or lazy, those can be interesting traits. I hate his absolute incompetence and stupidity. Man can´t listen to anything the people around him are saying, doesn´t know what´s going on, and REFUSES to ask to clarify. Ugh, as I write it out, I´m actually starting to see that there´s a sense to it. - He doesn´t listen, and everyone else doesn´t listen to him when he tries to explain. - He pretends to know what he´s doing, so everyone thinks he knows what he´s doing. I´d enjoy the show much more if Krai literally never opened his mouth. TL;DR: 🤭Krai! Sorry for the rant. I was salty and needed to vent. PS: The worst part is, the show wouldn´t really work without Krai.
I love this anime. This episode made me laugh so much. Especialy when tino was goin 1v6 and then thinks krai is dissapointed in her because he ws halfheartedly cheering her on😂😂 Wouldnt be surprised if it took 5years to create a 2nd season of this masterpiece
Technically, she was going 1v1. The rest of Fallen Mist did not interfere, they just let Arnold handle her. IN FACT, they were even outraged at Krai for throwing shoddy under the bus so casually, then yelled at him for not even having the courtesy of paying attention to her fight! 🤣 _I'm not gonna lie, I thought I was going to hate them at first, but now I love them._
For a moment I kept thinking… I can’t believe Krai stood by while Tino got messed up… then it hit me. She has endured FAR worse just training with Liz. 😂
i love how in any other show arnolds deduction about the mc would be considered delusional and as someone about to get their ass kicked but in this one hes absolutely right and spitting straight facts i kinda feel bad for him a bit becuase he totally got krais character down to a T and hes the only one who sees past the BS lol
I'm loving Arnold and Fallen Mist because of that. At first, I thought they were gonna be annoying Yakuza-esque fodder for the protagonist and nothing else, but they are legitimately smart and cool characters! Like you said, he got Krai's whole character down to a T!
@MrDibara Arnold deduces that Krai is a Level 8 Strategist in which to me is a Red Flag, Remember What a Strategist does and they think they can take one on!
This man is a true demon. He allowed Tino to get beat up like that, but to be fair Tino was egging it on lol. Another thing thank god Liz said no to finding those guys and beating them up again when Sitri offered the suggestion. I can’t imagine the experiment Sitri would of thought of Turing those guys into. 🤣🤣
Regarding the teriyaki dragon, it what Krai said was that hit TASTES good teriyaki style. He's had it before due to his party. But from everyone else's perspective, its' Krai saying that dragons are just a simple meal to him.
Freakin hell man, Krai is almost as delusional as everyone else by barely paying attention and saying random crap that people take more seriously than he'd imagine they would.
You gotta admit, Krai using that Gravity magic amulet was pretty cold, even if the credit for that thing's creation goes to his party member. When bro's got his Relics all charged up, he can actually do a fairly good job soloing a few Adventurers. I agree, though, Arnold and the Fallen Mist party are pretty awesome! At first, I thought they were going to be some generic loudmouth, bully-esque yakuza group of delinquents._ (which is just SO INSUFFERABLE) But, no. They *legit* got a good eye for analysis! I mean, they nailed down really well how Krai is most likely the strategist of his group and not a direct combatant! _I mean, it's a close guess at least!_ The next Episode seems like it's gonna be focused on them. I can't wait to see them develop, they look like a fun bunch once you get past their usual Yakuza stereotypes!
To make sitri your bride or become Sitris husband....yeah, let krai sleep on it. Tino just can't help herself and slinging the insults. Cant wait to see the whole crew together
something tells me if Cry ever marries Sitri just to pardon his debts this girl will unleash a biological weapon that will only leave her and cry alive
I wonder if the rest of grieving souls knows just how batshit insane Krai's luck is, and that's why they insist he's one of them? And also why they put him in charge of their group; Making it so his luck extends to the rest of them Edit: To add onto this, they clearly know his limits in terms of strength, what with Sitri keeping Krai safe from her monsters and Liz being gentle enough that Krai's safety rings have yet to go off. I wouldn't exactly call him a strategist, but his luck practically makes him serve as one; Which weirdly enough put Arnold very very close to what exactly Krai is to Grieving Souls
Yo, it ain't JUST disrespect! It's a WHOLE TRAUMA CONGA LINE waiting to happen...!!! o.O Oh, boy....! Those fellows are gonna be so screwed next episode, mark my words!
I have a feeling that his party knows he's not battle strong but because of their history and relationship to each other, they keep Krai around and honestly worship him because of that. He also knows he's not strong and tries to stay away from danger (since he was basically forced to be their leader) and everyone (his childhood friends) knows this and that's why they have no problem fighting for him and follow his orders and advice. Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't read any source material so idk. Also, how does ranking work? I thought it depended on your strength, but they mentioned he's only lvl 8 because of them even though he doesn't fight... How does that work? Any explanation is appreciated 😊
Your correct that the grievers knows his weak but they truly believe his special. About the ranking , it depends on the achievement not on strength. Being rank 8 or above is a little bit special though because all rank 8s that exist soloed atleast 1 rank 8 or higher dungeon that includes krai, how he did it is a huge spoiler you need to read the novel
His party worship him because of his luck/misfortune . They all encounter far stronger foes as they should because of him. And by following his advise (Nah, just him joking around) or worshiping him, they all get stronger. Lucia for example gain enormous amount of mana capacity trying to recharge his collection of relics.
Spoiler: Krai is insane. He soloed and took down an entire fortress city that even the entire Explorer's Association failed to take down twice. He went along with 2 other level 8s but they were defeated immediately. He's also soloed an entire lv 10 treasure shrine and "killed" a God. (The God has multiple lives though) He also summoned a black world tree and killed another God. He also managed to alter reality so much that tofu turned into a literal cellphone. He also nearly destroyed the world with a single relic. Dudes an actual boss
Say what you want about Krai but don't ignore the fact that he just saved the world by choosing not to marry Sitri. If he had Liz and Lucina would've been pissed and the ensuing battle between the three would've killed millions.
Poor Chloe she could have join the GS if she was 15 when she pass the test 🤣 Fortunately that she is an excellent receptionist at the Guild 🫡 Arnold keep getting disrespected, after Liz, it Krai' turn 🤣 Tino did well by fighting him! But Krai clear up his 10 billions debt by marrying Sitri isn't a good idea... Firstly because of Liz' reaction, secondly because she is way more crazy than her big sis 😨 I love watching this show every Monday 😂 I hope it will get a season 2 and perhaps more 🙏🏻👀
So I'm thinking it'd be in his best interest to marry Sitri, but then he would have to marry Liz as well because otherwise she would kill him. Than he should also marry Tino, because shes so sweet and I'd feel bad for her. And just because there needs to be an actual functioning member of society, he should marry his assistant, to reine them all in. This was a great episode, so funny.
Kray litterly has dice/coin either 100% luck or 100% bad luck. But even if he rolls a bad side/ luck he still wins because lady luck's stack from the previous toss stacs up and carries over. If this was any other anime Arnold would be MC or finall boss but this not one of these animes. He kinda looks like Berserker class from Diablo Game
Can we talk about debt issue because Crai virginity is at stake from sociopathic girl 😂😂 . The only way for Craig to save the world is get married is to marry both sisters, and for tino just find another man 😂😂.

Krai pulled so much Luck that the world is paying in installments. That's why he's always winning.
The funniest part of the episode has to be the whole banter of "A" "Eigh" scene 😭😭 Literally reminds me of the "You" "Yes im Yu" scene
