Awesome adventure, Retro! Congrats on catching that absolute unit of a peacock! Thanks for taking us along. Those old rogues still do great work and are one of my all-time favorite jerkbaits!
What's up retro. If you ever make it to Orlando, look me up. Let's fish it old school out of my 30 year old gambler. Towed by my old school Pathfinder. I'll even bust out the Hank Parker pistol grip lightening rod
Your issue with those missed fish was the drag was to lose to get a good hook set with those peacock bass. Set the hook get them pinned then loosen the drag of needed.
Should have brought some extractors, they probably would have hit those,I really like them great short arm spinner and the head shape makes them track great,I was able to get some but you rascals beat me to the baby blue
Ah? For about? The last 20+ years! This country especially Florida! Didn't do a thing about the pet trade bringing in evasive species in and allowing them to be released into an environment without any natural predators to eradicate them! Can you say Chinese Chestnut Tree? As anyone that lived in the Appalachian area how that worked out? It's all about the $$$$$$!
Awesome buddy 🎣 Glad to see Justin on your channel and nice fish guys 💥
That's FL rain will come and the fishing can be good or turn off! Cool snakehead! I was thinking what a huge canal! Fun video!

I really miss fishing in Florida, watching you makes me jealous and nostalgic - thanks for the video.
That rogue color is a kept secret in south Georgia. Green bass is the color and it is discontinued.

I am old school. When did peacock bass, chicalids, and other invasive species become prominent in florida waters? I feel sorry for the largemouth.
