I think everyone needs to wear their clothes and hair in multiple different, weird, experiential ways as kids and teenagers. One can always forgive young people for terrible style, and you can only find your true style by trying things out.
Yes absolutely! I hope these videos can be used to help those that may be struggling a bit.
Great advice in this video man. I think I’ve done all these things. Haha I was about to say that’s nuts with the £700 t-shirt. Glad you didn’t get that 😂
I felt I had to add that in haha! I’ve spent a lot of t shirts but £700 is surely too much 😂
Your videos are always awesome and your videos have help me and give me ideas of how to dress and style oversized clothing and I always get positive compliments from other people and now I’ll probably try some of this new styles and the hair looks great man 💪🏽keep up the good work! Always!
That’s so nice to hear. So happy to have helped and thanks for watching as always mate!!
Appreciate this type of introspective video James! There's a lot of 'buy these clothes to look good/clothing essentials' content out there but not much discussion in the way of what will actually look good on 𝘺𝘰𝘶 or developing your personal style. This was refreshing to see.
Thanks so much man. Personal style is what it’s all about!
A thing I consider interesting about this video, is picking up high waisted trousers and cropped jackets. That is something I'd probably recommend to someone with a longer torso.
While high-waisted pants suit practically anyone, in my opinion with a short torso a more balanced look could be achieved by picking up a mid-fly length jacket. A tucked in t-shirt would still maintain the popular 'rule of thirds'.
One more point I also disagree with is baggy and relaxed fit. How I see it is they actually suit longer legs better - they keep your natural proportions balanced unlike they would on a person with a longer torso.
That's just my two cents that maybe some dawg would like to take in consideration
Bro that outfit with off white pants looked great, I’ve resisted getting that color as much as I love because I don’t feel I style it well. Also maybe it’s me but white seems to be a bit more fussy. I’m the same size and proportions as you and honing in on that similar fit. Love you vids glad @HarryHas turned me onto to you too
Dope video bro, really like this style of video your doing. 👍
Thanks so much man!!
I used to watch your old vids and really enjoyed them. You had a unique style
Thank you bro!
i love the line you used ,makes sense to me in my head, haha, that line basically governs how we all approach fashion, i also do belive how color and the use of it can make a great look, where color can enhance you and how it attracts others to you.very nice video, cheers and please stay safe always---till next week later,it would also be nice having a video on how hair, and facial hair play their part in fashion, long ,short hair, beards, stash.s goates ect.your videos are very good ,thanks again.
Hah yeah it just shows that fashion is a personal thing! That would be a great video, I need to get back on the hair videos as I haven’t done one for a while. Thanks for the suggestion!
another good one 👍🏽 Thanks mate 🙂🙋🏽♂️
Cheers my man!!
This is such a perceptive video. It was so on point it made me giggle. I feel like most people who have an early interest in fashion make every single one of those mistakes haha well, I know I did. I have a hard time looking at old pictures. 😂
Haha, we all go through it!! 🤣
Nice job, great video!
Thanks ☺️
A note of caution with the "wearing clothes as they were intended to be worn" point. Sometimes there is a reason to actually size up regular fitting clothes. I find that with some garments like sweaters there is a certain charm to wearing a piece that's slightly off-looking. Afterall, the whole oversized wave was inspired by 90's and 00's fashion where "oversized cuts" didn't exists, people just wore 2 sizes over their regular size and it worked for them.
I often find that companies make a piece look too perfect proportionally, which ironically defeats the purpose of oversized looks. I do however think it's great for stuff like tees, specifically the uni qlo airism ones.
Yeah that’s true, there are certain pieces that look great when you size up. I do find a lot of them get a bit too long in length on me though so it doesn’t look quite right, even though they look great across the chest and sleeves!
Your videos are like a podcast. I love that!!
Haha thank you man!
@@JamesLeung Haha, you’re very welcome, man
This was exactly what I needed to hear lol
🤣
Hi, James!
what’s the grey tee you’re wearing??
It’s from the brand Solace. They do great basics!
to be fair, that's when I started following you 😅
Haha glad you did! I don’t mind the style but I just think the pieces didn’t fit quite right.
comment for the algorithm
Thanks bro 🙏
I like to experiment through time in style, trend, fashion....even those who i don't like because if i didn't try it how do i know if i really don't like it....and some that i wear lots because i thought looks good at me turn out so bad.... Every silhouette and every fit should be tried.....the key from all my experiences is not to look sloppy....
Definitely man, great advice! Hopefully these types of videos can help people get there faster.
Watched your stuff back when you dressed like in the thumbnail lmao
Haha the good old days 😂
