    I order today the sneeky tune AP/Tune combo for my mk7.5 with base maps 2 fuels.
    Im new to this Cobb thing hope is worth it and also got the DSG option.
    On the way I have CTS CATTLESS downpipe,ARM intercooler,hpfp internals and 034 drop in filter with the silicone hose and turbo inlet.
    Hope to make some power after spending that $$$.
    Next mods will be Silver coilovers.

    Dope iv heard alot of good things about sneaky so far I got a apr pex intake and cts catless downpipe and already that's making a difference next up is a tune

    Makes me wonder what Unitronic tune you got I run stage 1+ 93, with yokohama Adnan UHP+ and I spin a lot first and second, spin a little in 3rd and chirp 4th on my Mk6, intake, catback, r8 tune-up, f1 wheels on 35psi it's a fully loaded car, power everything, heated seats, leather interior

      Your likely spinning because your running 35 psi. I run 24 psi when having fun with the car.
      That being said Unitronic is a great tune, just not as aggressive as Sneekytuned

      @@HaydenCroix yeah I dont drop psi rating much I've heard horror stories of guys snapping axles getting a lot of wheel hop. Guess it's just something I've never wanted to experience. You're probably right though. I don't have any experience with sneaky tunes.

    Not sure if you will respond to this or not, but do I need to get a DSG tune as well if I go with Sneeky Tune? Right now im running just the base OTS map off the Cobb AP and I am looking for something a little more.

      It is highly recommended. If you did not get the DSG enabled on your Cobb AP You should purchase that and then you can use their OTS DSG tunes. I am still running the DSG tune from Unitronic at the moment but will likely switch to APR's DSG tune next.

      @@peekego the only one that I wouldn’t recommend is the one I’m running, Unitronic. It does well with everything though does not increase clamping force like the other DSG tunes do. Other than that they are all about the same some with may have more customization others though

    Love the car man! How can you turn the ‘pops and bangs’ on and off with sneekytune? Is it the same way as EQT?

      Thank you! and all you have to do is switch into sport mode. (pull the shifter back in D) or vice versa. I'm not 100% sure how EQT works for that

      @@Alex88156 Nice! Thank you for clearing that up for me as I don't have first hand experience with EQT. For SneekyTuned they are only in sport mode. I guess with eqt you can choose to have them in both sport/comfort?

    I got tune last night and the pops and bangs aren’t bad kinda like it and didn’t think I would… Now my tune isn’t what I expected, I hate to say it but the 91 octane and e30 are both kinda weak. I don’t understand why, my stratified tune downlow to top speed is much quicker for stratified I have 91 - 93 octane tunes, also it’s original file never bothered to get a touch up. Is it needed with sneeky?

      With each revision from Sneeky it will get/feel much faster. I would work with getting revisions until you no longer can or no longer need to.

      So I went an got the Apr dsg tune, don’t get me wrong Unitronic dsg tune is and was top notch! But they will never get another dime from me…
      Now that the dsg is tuned holly shit the e30 tune is a huge hit with me. I think my problem was my dsg was not functioning well with my tune from sneakytune and possibly why it felt and was slower than my stratified tune. My sneakytune is perfect as is with first revision, thank u man for the video and reply’s I greatly appreciate it!

    I'm a noob to all of this. I have a 21 GTI SE DSG 7 SPD. How do I go about getting tuned. Do I buy an accessport, then purchase a tune from sneakytune and then just upload it via the OBD port ? I only have 5k miles on the car. Should I wait till I'm closer to the end of my warranty?

      It all depends how much warranty means to you. If you don’t care about it then go to sneekytuned’s website and purchase your Cobb AP through them at a discount with the tune.

    Question, does sneakytune offer a Cobb accessport dsg tune? So far all I can find says dsg tuning for mk7 no tuner specifically has advertised dsg tune for mk6… I have a feeling mk6 dsg tunes are available but not sought after like the mk7’s are.
    I know the other company’s do dsg tunes but I’m really only interested in using my Cobb AP

    Just ordered my sneakytune! 91octane and E30… in all honesty with my 91 octane stratified tune I use chevron gas Then I use 5.5 gallons of VP 100octane racing gas.
    Can’t wait to try out e30🥳

    I had a 2012 beetle turbo e888 Gen 1 mk6 fall into my hands about 2 years ago and been doing some moding, Cai, usp catted 3" dp, arm fmic ( for a mk6 gti.. fits well) both charge pipes, DV spacer with untronic stage 2 ecu/dsg.. b4 I went with untronic, I had the racechip gts.. stock vs racechip, yeah their is a difference.. but stock vs untronic stage 2, huge difference.. but they do lie about boost numbers.. according to my logs, the ecu only calls for 15lbs (30) when it should be 20...

    I have a mk6 gti i have a tune from stratified
    I am currently getting a downpipe and a catback soon.
    Should i stay with stratified or try sneekytune or EQT?

      I would branch out personally and try out either sneekytuned or eqt. They both make very similar power numbers that I’m sure you wouldn’t be dissatisfied with!

    Im stuck with UNITRONIC :( its been almost a month since I paid for their stage 3 and looks like no one will touch my car. SneekyTuned told me they couldn't touch my car too. Do you know what people use to custom tune their cars? I can probably learn how to do it.

      @@HaydenCroix its a 2016 Jetta GlI. Probably a combination of it being non mqb and having all cts parts lol. Unitronic says they are having a hard time finding my ecu oem file. They probably can't warranty their work. This car has the gen 7 motor in it too. But its not set up the same as the normal gen 7s.

      @@HaydenCroix I had to cancel Unitronic tune because its been over a month and no eta. I found a local shop that does good work and they do custom TVS tunes for basically the same price as stage 3 Unitronic. So i get better deal and more of what I want.

    I'm currently running a stratified tune on my mk6. I cant imagine a sneeky tune makes much more power than the stratified. Does anyone have a dyno comparison between them? I know the sneeky tunes are excellent tunes but was curious about real numbers. Its hard to drop several hundred more dollars to just try a tune.

      I have not seen any dyno sheets comparing the two. But as someone who switched from a tune claiming very similar power numbers it was a noticeable difference when I switched tune to SneekyTuned. It was really more about how the power was delivered. It comes on sooner and stronger as well as longer. The powerband is much more useable/enjoyable.

      I had stratified last year on my 2012 DSG mk6 gti switched to sneeky you can literally feel the difference in how the car shifts, power wise tbh, 4 months in with stratified crackle tune I got a check engine for a 02 sensor and ever since 5 months on sneekytune It’s never disappointed or caused a check engine so there’s my perspective

    My first piece of advice whenever I talk shop with another GTI owner is to get a custom tune. Like you said in your video, it’s a big difference between an OTS tune.
    I run 87, 91, and 100oct custom tunes on my IS38 through Frank Mabo. Love them!

      I’m running federal 595 SS. 235 45 r18. I spin through second on a nice summer day and through 4th in the rain. I am currently waiting on a set of federal 595 rs-r in 265 35 r18

      I’m not sure I fully understand what you are asking but I do not have a check engine light. I’ve never had that be an issue with sneekytuned

      In the intro, of course traction is turned off but ESC and maintenance light are both on. I was curious if this is going to be the case with sneeky tune? There's some fast GTIs on IG running sneeky tune. This is the first video I've seen and the lights on the dash are concerning

      @@TheModernSkater the esc light is on because I have programmed my traction control with OBD11. It is to fully disable to traction control. Without that feature you cannot fully disable it. It goes away when you turn TC back on. The maintenance light was due to a burnt out license plate bulb. You will be safe to expect zero lights on the dash.

      Nice! I wish I had access to e85 around me but the closest station is over an hour away. With SneekyTuned on fulle85 you can make about 370 whp with the is20. I don’t think it makes quite 420 wtq tho! Pretty sure SneekyTuned is still closer to the 400 number on torque figures!

    I wish I could upload a video comment and show you how my mk7 pulls with Unitronic. I spin second much more than you where in the video. I am also running the federal 595 235/40-18. I don't even have a front mount either. Not saying your lying by any means just an observation.

      Don’t get me wrong Unitronic will still light up the tires in 1st and 2nd. And for the clip you are talking about I had just done a burnout prior to it so my tires were very toasty. It is just a very noticeable difference switching to sneekytuned

      @@HaydenCroix I have been thinking about switching tunes to EQT so I'm very open to the idea of other tunes being better but I know sometimes it can just be throttle tuning that makes people feel like they are getting more.

      @@jordancornwell4548 I can agree with that. EQT and Sneekytuned make very similar power, EQT is just a bit more known. Though because of that can have rather long response times (7-10 days at points) Sneekytuned does a great job at staying within 24-72 hr response time. But other than the customer service I haven’t heard anything negative about EQT especially not the performance.

      Just spend some time in the FB groups/forums, that will change. (Cobb has not blown up any engines recently to my knowledge, but back in 2015-2016 they definitely were)

    I have an mk6 gti so I’m not going to see ur numbers at all but I’m hearing even on mk6 sneakytunes are becoming much more popular than Stratified tunes.
    In full disclosure my old mk5 Jetta was tuned by Unitronic and my mk6 with stock intercooler could walk my Jetta. Unitronic has a very good reliable tune (safe tune) but I didn’t care for there customer service.

      I would recommend you try SneekyTuned personally! And I couldn’t agree more with your comment on Unitronic. SneekyTuned is a smaller company but from what I’ve experienced has great customer service!

      Mod for Mod? No chance, Unitronic is known for making conservative tunes. If you are FBO IS20 there is no chance. If you are IS38 then your statement holds no ground. Either way, Unitronic is no where near as fast as SneekyTuned.

      If I don’t plan on making my gti fast” at the very moment because I just want to keep it as stock as poissible, who would you recommend for a safe reliable tune for stage 1?

    Eqt is excellent aswell probably my favorite all around sneekey is pretty unbeatable in terms of maximizing power

      EQT is great as well, I actually run their DSG tune.
