It’s a combination of constant tiredness, pressure, and being able to keep going whilst carrying injuries. I don’t think that it’s possible to avoid that length of arduous training and not have some kind of impact injury causing a continual problem throughout basic.

My younger brother was deferred by Army he has wasted his 3years time just chasing down medical evidence again and again and again & still on . He told me I'm so frustrated I'm loosing my motivation brother. I smiled and replied take it as motivation and try join the Royal marines commando don't just give up in what u really wanted. +hoyah hayoh Its all done on a point system, max amount of pull ups is 16 and will award you 100 points but i think you only have to do 6. press ups are 60 in 2 mins. sit ups are 80 in 2 mins. both press ups and sit ups are minimum scores.
+hoyah hayoh I downloaded a program that can build you up to 100 pushups in 7 weeks. I'm sure there are similar for pull ups too. 7 weeks is a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things

No. There are other branches of the military that are open. I am of the opinion that no women and that even includes world class athletes could pass the training. The training is brutal and it takes lots out of the body to be able to complete it.

This looks easier than P Company, or am I missing something? Not a military person, but like watching these programmes.
This is just the entry standards to get into basic training for the royal marines not the tests they do at the end of training
It's not the actual training, it's a few days taster to let people know what is required, if they don't like this, there is no point joining.

You can apply at 15 and 9 months, however you cant actually begin training until you are 16. the application process will take a few months anyway

He was a marine before he joined the SAS mate. You have to have at least 2 years military experience before you can join the SAS
He passed the POC then joined the SAS reserves. He's a real hard man no matter what people think of him
