I love this idea. And the execution in these examples. It is not that common that somebody does share a really useful application via TH-cam. Thanx a lot, I'll definitely try this on my new album with my VP70! And regarding those offensive critics in some comment: I got how this works from first looking at it. Who doesn't, should better not try, IMHO. That's not beginners stuff, this is serious "gear abuse"! ;-)
nice one ! i guess i could do thst woth my microfreak as well... maybe do some crazy shit like vocode the MFs vocoder with the VP70... but i guess the modulating wave has to be stereo ? or does the harmonising algorithm of the VP70 do a stereo conversion of a mono modulator ? i dont have my juno106 anymore (would be nice to use the saw with chorus II as modulation source) cheers
I just got one of these and have found that while sending midi information to it the “MIDI Message” light will often get stuck and stay on even when no messages are being sent. This causes all kind of bad behavior. Have you run into this issue as well, and if so what is the possible solution?
@@No_Nag I thought so too, but sadly not. I think the CPU on the unit was defective. Returned and another one acquired. This thing sounds fantastic when it's working right ;-)

It doesnt work as a vocoder in that sence. You just put a signal in and you have to midi it for the harmonies. Mono or stereo doesn't matter :)
