wife and I just happened to be in Seattle down on the water. Didn't even know the hells angels were there. Standing at the water, I hear the sound of a jet. Here comes a hells angels pilot like 60 feet above the water, uses the side of a waterfront warehouse as a air cushion, powersliding into a 90-degree left turn practically comes to stop, then full throttle looking down at my wife and I could see his eyes blink and disappears over the 99 viaduct and farmers market. It was the most amazing thing i ever witnessed.
These are only so called "stunts" when performed at 200 feet or below! There is risk at low altitude so the casual observer can view this expertise. All jet naval aviators are trained and can do these manuevers at safe altitudes and sometimes do when mission completion time or skills practice dictates. Unfortunately the crowd cannot see the most difficult task in all of aviation. A night carrier landing! Add bad weather, pitching deck and low fuel state - my knees are still shaking:) That's what I am talking about. FLY NAVY!
Such precision, you could think it was CGI. Bravo Blue.
The Best pilots in the world!!
They sure are!
Amasing, what they do. The risks are huge.
