you get less SMG guys, they are more valuable imho

I might have to take a look at this mission. reminds me a lot of Company of Heroes in regards to the base you have.
I wish someone could help me make my own beach raid like something like this but in my own ideas ect as iv been trying to make one and its way to dam fucking hard to make and when i look on how to make beach raids there's not one video on how to make one from the Basic land all the way to the combat stuff
Sherman you should get BM Mod V1 (Gore & Blood) - Shell Realism Mod - Wrecks & Decals Despawn Timer Mod from the steam workshop.I've been playing with it(besides with SirHenkel's mods)on all my skirmishes and multiplayer.

I liked everything about this video except the 88 way to op. Yes I know they where strong but they are stationary. Did the A I not have air or shore bombardment? I mean it sure did not look like it. Other than that thought game was good but it was stacked in your favor from the start. Once again enjoyed video.
The Shermanator next please check every box in map like one at 0:55 and 0:58 then 1:24 again at 2:15 plus this map is miss imported part in history like a naval gun fire bombardment before the landing. you forget to place mine field before hit dunes at 21:11 and you should only have 5 MG's.

how was the sherman taking all them hits? took like 6 shells and still going that's stupid.
is there any FX mod for the tanks in this gameplay,i don't use to see this quantity of particles from an explosion,great video btw.

This game seem so cool! And... your comments are funny.
a very common i see with all these D-Day videos, everyone doesn't watch the ammo count the the defenders on the beach, especial the mgs' on the beach, you know they are gonna run out fast so you might as well fill them up with ammo, plus if would've got a howitzer on the beach or two for that second line you probably could have held longer
this made it more tense! :D

you could've started laying mines long before the last stand at the headquarters. the whole area in-between the second and third defensive line could've been mined, and even the area between the beach and the second defensive line could've been fortified a bit.

there is no CoH style campaign, these missions are made my the community.. and better than the missions the game came with ;)
ah nice. how would you compare the singleplayer campaign to CoH campaign? is it worth playing or not. Because it looks rather good and more realistic version of CoH tempted to buy it.

Hey Sherman did this mod ever crash your game? well I've installed it and now I can't play MOWAS2 :(
If its a standard mod that you activate through the options screen, you can take it out of the load order by going here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\my games\men of war - assault squad(assault squad 2 should be there too)\profiles\player(or whatever this folder is called)
And opening a file named 'options.set' with notepad or something similar. Down the bottom the mod title should be listed under 'mods', and you can simply delete the line that has the title and save the document. Hope this helps with your problem.

in the movies yes but germans never made these monstrosities in real life. It was too damn weak against naval gunfire and enemy airforces. Sure some bunkers had big openings, similar to the ones in the video but not that much.

These were mostly commandbunkers or some with heavy artillery.
