Hi mama! I just did a random TH-cam search and found you and already I’m tapped in. I love how honest and authentic you are! It’s refreshing! I will definitely be following your journey! I identify 100% on the “and she’s 5” lol my struggle with my oldest who is 5 almost 6 as well 😅
Hey hun! Thank you for tapping in! ☺️ I appreciate really appreciate the compliment. You have a lot of catching up to do so binge on 🍿lol And girl, I’m like you know better 🤦🏾♀️
@@HourPointOfView lol heavy on the you know better 😅 I will watch as often as I can! Stay at home, homeschooling, mom of 3 as well 😂 so you know how it is lol very busy!
@@HappenedUponHappyheavy heavy on it lol. And yay, I love hearing from other moms living the same lifestyle 🥰. I definitely understand . Well I look forward to connecting 😊
Stay encouraged. I was a stay at home for many years and let me just say it’s so worth it for your children. You will see the fruit of your labor when they’re older.
Thank you for the encouragement! We’re in the process of taking a leap of faith in order to really pour into our family. I cant wait to see what God has in store for us 🙏🏾
I can totally relate to that! When my husband has days off from work and he’s at home, I also take that opportunity to relax more and just be more present. So even though I’m at stay at home mom when he returns to his normal work hours/schedule so do I !
It’s definitely team work and I’m so thankful I have a partner to do life with 🙏🏾. When he’s on vacation , it’s soooooo hard to get back to normal because I be living my best life lol
Two of my children have dealt with dry skin and eczema. I boiled Mango leaves, lemongrass, cashew leaves, and neem leaves and use the water to bathe them. It can be 2-3 times a week with that water or daily. I keep the leaves soaking and reboil them daily. This helped to clear up eczema, cradle cap, dry skin, all of it! Dr. Bronner's unscented Castille soap seems to be the only thing that does cause dryness or flare ups for them. I make large batches of body butter too (Shea butter, coconut oil, a small amount of neem oil, and a small amount palm kernel oil). Try looking into haitian bain herbal bath (post partum bath). I got this tip from my mother in law and it saved my children's skin. I hope this helps. It's like a bath tea for skin. I love your transparency because I have a child arlund the same age who always seems to put something in mouth!
Thank you for all of this, I truly appreciate it. We use Dr. Bronner’s soap and that’s exactly why I stopped using it on her. This little girl requires a lot of attention lol . And thank you for the support. My goal is to always be honest and transparent on here ♥️
@@HourPointOfView❤ You're so welcome and I appreciate the transparency. I think all women and moms have these moments but we just don't share it or get to see it much on social media. The only other soap I've used that worked, especially at age 3 and under was African Black Soap (The real one with grit, solid form). I dissolved it to liquid form on the stove top it or would use it as is on a wash cloth to avoid the grit on the skin. That worked as well. Sometimes it was a bit messy for the tub because of the color it would stain things but it's fine once you clean. I hope you find something that works for her. I know how tough it can be seeing them suffer with dry skin, itchiness, flares up, etc. Best of luck! 🌹🌹🌹
Yooo kids do the most. Im a picu nurse so I immediately would have thought button battery and freaked out. Im glad shes okay! So hard not to be so so angry, I definitely relate.
Thanks for sharing. You’re not alone lol. There are times where I’m mad and can’t seem to come down as fast as I want. I had a moment last night that I regret but I apologized and we move forward.
Thank you for the vulnerability and comfort. You’re right, apologize and move on. I think that’s what’s missing in parenting, acknowledging when we’re wrong and apologizing.
3:18 how scary!!! I would be upset too. There’s things that happen that make me upset and it sucks because I feel bad afterwards 😅 4:33 your honesty here is so relatable. We ALL have those moments and want to take it back.
Hey, love watching your vlogs!! Baby girl Gia’s(hope I spelled that right)skin reminds me of my older sisters, she dealt with really bad eczema all growing up and it looked just like that(maybe a little worse to be honest) my mom did everything and unfortunately my sister struggled with it for quite awhile growing up, but now that we are older and through trial and error and diet change my sister found that triamcinolone ointment really helped clear her skin and stop the itching….Im not sure if a dermatologist would recommend for baby girl cause I’m not sure how strong the ointment is, but it really helps her and every now and then I get these dry patches and I use it, clears it up in a day. Hope this helps and Merry Christmas and many blessings to you and your family!!!
Hey! Thank you so much for the information. I’m glad you guys were able to get it handled. It’s always devastating not know the solution to our problems 🤦🏾♀️. Baby girl is doing much better. Just giving her skin more attention has been beneficial. Also using a humidifier in the house has helped. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family ❤️
First thing I thought was button battle try there my nightmare I do not allow them in my home and don’t allow any toys that have them ! I once ordered a toy off Amazon with one turned around the back was off the toy and battery was gone my heart dropped out my chest and I saw the button battery across from me on the floor I ran for it threw it away and never bought anything else with it !! Be careful with those mama !
Oh mama....YEEEESSSS! You are not alone-I respond well and quickly to emergencies (which is GOOD with 5 of my kids being fearless boys!😜😂), but sometimes that quick reaction is straight up ANGER at the stupidity of what the kid did. Often it is not until the situation is over that my emotions of fear hit me. Fear often comes out as anger for me...which I am so thankful that the Lord has shown me this to work on! He is with us and is giving us new mercies every day!! One of my fav verses when my babies were all litle was Isaiah 40:11 "He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." HE GENTLY LEADS THOSE THAT HAVE YOUNG. He sees you and understands mama...He is leading you gently. 💛 Hope you have a blessed CHRISTmas!!💛🎄💛

As they get older your gonna question your entire existence & think why did i do this not once but multiple times & ask God if hes playing w your patience when they do something insanely RIDICULOUS but just know you ain't gonna end up on a episode of SNAPPED 😂 Your gonna be big mad & likely have days where you can't loose it completely on them but you know that husband will be walking in the door any second & GOD HELP HIM 😂 the 1st thing you will say is "do you know wth YOUR dumba$$ kids did" and baby you will take it out on him & maybe even threaten divorce & let him take sole custody...you will say you will happily get a job & work where you can have adult conversations just to pay CS & have something other to talk about then why kid xyz had green 💩 that day 😂😂
I absolutely love this comment ( or book as you call it 😂😂). This is so valuable coming from someone who has been there and done that. It's super encouraging. And as of lately I've been taking off the load of feeling like I need to give my girls all of the attention in the world all the time. I'm learning that it could be just as damaging giving them too much attention. I will definitely check out that song because I'll take any help that can possibly make me feel better about those hard days because they always come. But thank you so much for taking the time to watch and to give me a piece of your heart. Appreciate ya!
My toddler had eczema flare ups really bad as well. But what helped A LOT is I cut out all dairy products, I gave him a probiotic daily and I always gave him oatmeal and detox baths( baking soda, pure epsom salt and Indian healing clay).🤍 and I moisturize him with honest company eczema lotion, honest all purpose ointment or Maty’s multipurpose baby ointment.🤍
Thank you for all this. She doesn’t consume dairy. I’m starting to feel like her body just needs more topical care because things are already better with just caring for her skin more. Even having the humidifiers on daily has made a huge difference. W
