i really struggle using pad just because of the d-pad. but when you think of it, all you need is muscle memory and A LOT of practice. thanks for showing how ewgf in pad :>
Well my english is not good but i have to thanks you for This video. I bougth tekken 8 a just watching this i can do eletrics. So thanks you again. Youre literally Jesus in his prime
Awesome!! As a Mishima noob, I'm in awe on your accuracy and consistency in your ewgf training video. I can ewgf on p2 side consistently. On P1 it's a hit or a miss. What tension do you play on? I'm playing on 35 tension rubber on alpha49s and my left hand is tired after an hour or so. Guess I have to try different rubber.
I believe my lever has 35 tension. I use Help Me Version 2 K Lever, really good for Mishima stuff in my opinion. I don’t think the tension changes all too much except for what your preference is. If you want a lighter tension to be able to play longer you might consider going to 25, but I don’t think its significant in making your electric better. Whatever feels best! Always good to try out stuff.
I had started with a Crown 303 ST 35 very bad experience really difficult to use especially in the diagonals then I took the 309mj st25 it opened up a new world to me then as I took the hand I put ST 35 now I have excellent control
@@maestro-occulto8871 good for you! I found newhelpme not very precise for my playstyle. I used to get D2,df2 instead of electrics. I switched to alpha49s with 35 grommet, i liked it very much. Long throw instead of crown style short throw. Deeper diagonals. Perfect for my playstyle. Crown levers are being praised for a reason, sadly didn't workout for me
I'm a keyboard player so my technique differs a lot. Basically I use both wasd and arrow keys as my movement keys, as a consequence I moved my 1234 near the arrow keys. 2 is right above my right arrow key, so doing electric in p1 is very easy. I press D once and then S>2 and it never fails, never. It's all simultaneous and I even play jin with it effectively. I've since changed my keybinds but it's very uncomfortable now since I'm trying to get used to it, taking out the arrow keys and now using uijk for 1234 the default and doing electrics on that is a little more inconsistent, even if I bound O to forward and did my same technique as before it's inconsistent at best so I have to actually learn proper electrics which given my experience since then has gotten a lot easier. Basically my advice to any keyboard player, you're much better at Mishima's arguably than other input methods because your electrics can permanently be consistent and your wavu's are in a consequence extremely fast. A decent example of keyboard Mishima is Devilster's Jin. One of the fastest wave dashes but only uses one hand for the dash, I used 2 but now use 1 and managed to match Devilster's speed. So if you really love Mishima characters above every other one I personally out of bias reccomend keyboard but pad and stick isn't bad. Although, keyboard at least in my experience in p2 is very very weird. The best I've gotten is swapping between right attack binds for p1 and left for p2 so I use arrow keys for main movement instead of just for electrics, and then use wasd for electrics, binding 2 to Q so I can do it identical on each side.
I know this comment is 9 months old, but I think someone should point out. pressing directionals and normal buttons with the same hand, or having redundant movement options (like two buttons with "right") is considered cheating on competition. if you enjoy playing like that, that is cool. but know that you couldn't compete like that, and some people could get upset if they knew you use "illegal" techniques to play (like in a handcam stream, for example)
@@novanation5870 I've got a stick recently, too! it's hard asf but it's hella fun lol but I feel more confident on my hitbox. I think I'll just use both

As long as you Google it you should be able to find it :) As for the cable length I'd say it's close to 2 metres.

Another tip to do ewgf/ewhf better, is go on the control setup, and then click check input, so you could see the timing you need to press 2.

I think its important to learn both, this is because depending on the situation you might need one or the other input techniques.
So you basically press the 2 button as soon as you hit the down+down forward. I see. I'll test this out when I get the chance.

Qanba Obsidian in this video!

would it be wrong to say its pretty much a dragon punch motion?
Not sure about dragon punch, but almost identical to shoryuken, only difference being the just frame input needed for EWGF.

Not at all! Not sure if it works with PS4 tekken as well but if it works on PC then it should be fine.
