3:00, Every instructor has their schtick on how to parallel, but not every instructor has an analytical bio-mechanical lesson on WHY to parallel. ¡Lovin’ it!

Such a great teacher. I’m learning some mistakes I’ve made just from watching. Only have gone skiing twice with 1 90 min lesson

Tell me about it… Deb’s training videos are like gold… I am so looking forward to try it out this season and see if I can do green to blues comfortably by the end.

Deb! I don’t usually comment on videos but you’re amazing. The reasoning behind every movement and how you explain it! amazing I’ve tried skiing for the first time this season and I would not have been able to have fun if it wasn’t for your videos! Thank you!

I incorporate vertical motion and breathing with my students. Inhale >rising motion. Exhale> sinking motion. Helpful w/ higher altitudes too.

A lot of it to is intuition being learned, in that the free of going to fast or being uncomfortable goes away. Building that trust I think goes a long way. Always with control

Deb-- excellent tip for transferring the weight from the inside ski to the outside ski in the static position.
As an Ski instructor -- always looking for another thought process to add to the tool box for matching the skis.
Your videos are very informative, keep up the great work.

Love this series! This season being about a year post acl reconstruction, I’m really focusing on separating my upper body from lower to carve into the turns more. I’m also getting use to speed. Great reminder for a intermediate- advance skier like me!

HA, yes, that is a part of my story. I'm not DebStrong with out that Gold but I am also not DebStrong without teaching. I hope I offer the entire package. Thanks for your comment. All the best

For me, when I move my body over the outside ski, I find the inside ski catching on its edge. Wonder if that's because I move from the hips while I should move from higher and keep the hips centered? I love the content, it'd be great to get such gentle instruction!

That’s such a good question. I’m not ignoring you but I’d have to look intimately. Not exactly sure off the topmost my head. The fact that you found it racing equipment is fantastic!!!!!

Amazing Deb! Just curious, how many days did it take Kelly to reach this ski level and transition from Green to Blue?

Let's give the camera guy a hand. Filming while skiing and maintaining the shot. Possibly even skiing switch.
