- For those interested: a version of the Stage 3 piano medley synced to the original Caretaker samples, as well as a peek behind the scenes at the software I use to make these songs.
Also, F6 was removed due to copyright flag - get mad at Sony.

Your rendition of Mournful Commraderie confused me, but this helped me understand. It sounds so pretty and eerie

I really like the combined sound of the normal piano and the distorted, more echoey piano in F2. It sounds very trippy.

A1: "it's just a burning memory" in reverse plays are you gonna put/use that?
A1.5: in the start of Stage 5 M1, are you put/use F8 and C3?
@@Leo-rl7qi Thanks for your question! A lot of people have been asking me if I'm going to use which samples and when for the post-awareness stages, and I don't think I'm going to use any of them - I'm just going to purely go off of the sounds that I hear directly off the Stage 4 tracks and try to copy it.
I think most of the time, the samples that people have found have been so completely distorted that there's no use in de-coding and then re-scrambling them again to sound like a mess anyway

Thank you, you made Back There Benjamin to be bearable and enjoyable for me, I just can't stand how the track succesfully gives the false "everything is all right" fealling and the despair of it, but with the piano, now sounds like things are at least a little better

Some more help
G1 has D5 in section A, H1 has I Feel As If I Might Be Vanishing and Increasingly Absorbed In His Own World in section B, L1 has a bit of B1's ending notes around the 17 minute mark (I think), M1 has F8 in section A aswell as a bit of Advanced Plaque Cameraderie scattered throughout, and N1 contains B1, F2, E6 and F1.
Don't forget Granada, which is Hell Sirens.
also J1 has D3 at 11:01
For G1, Section D of has Fleeting Dreams, section C has A5, and Section B (I think) has F4 and F7, and all 3 of them have C3
J1 has C4 somewhere
N1 also has The Great Hidden Sea Of The Unconscious, The Night Is Almost Over And The Dawn Is About To Break, Increasingly Absorbed In His Own World, and Poor Enunciation throughout, and I also want to note a very noticable unreversed burst of F2 at like 6:28.
H1 has False Memory Syndrome somewhere

wait, this was posted recently!? thank you so so so much, i've been searching for this and just found your transcriptions of stage 1 and 2 on musescore. i was wondering if stage 3 was finished and here it is!! are you going to transcribe and release this as sheet music as well?

e5 sounds so different to the piano, how come?
Good question. I struggled a bit with how to represent this song on piano, since it's not very coherent tempo-wise, and all the notes kind of blur together. Eventually, I decided to take the general notes/chord impressions that I heard and make an original rendition

Sublime beyond loss is just way too peaceful, and without the messy rewinds, it doesn't feel the same. The piant version also seems to hurry a bit too much. Besides that, it was a great recreation of the Sample.
Tbh the midi would likely look like a mess if all the irregular delays and stutters were played out, but I'd like to see it as an individual release (might do it in Ableton myself from his MIDI if I can summon the time and energy lmao)
@@Afterscience742 I already tried to load the Midi and it was a big mess. I don't really think it could get much worse.
For some reason almost all of these sound like late romantic/early modernist piano concertos (The beginning of E1 was Rachmaninoffy as fuck)

Yea, I wrote in the description: there was a copyright flag, so I had to replace the audio with one of YT's tracks.
You can still hear the piano in the main Stage 3 video though
