This Mouse Trap Bucket Lid is incredibly effective! I used to have a similar cobbled-together set-up in our deer camp. That cabin was off-grid and vacant for months at a time. It never failed to have 15+ mice in it upon returning to the cabin. This fancy Mouse Trap Bucket Lid came disassembled, but it was a simple setup. Click the cheese sections together, piece together the ramp, and assemble them to the lid. Then you snap the lid on a 5G bucket, not provide, but any 5G bucket will do. I used an old plaster bucket. Once you have your lid and ramp assembled and you have smeared some bait in the lid (I used peanut butter) and a bucket to put it on you just have to set it up in an out-of-the-way place. In your basement, crawl space, attic, garage, or shed. Where you are observing evidence of mice. Unless you are planning on live trapping them because of your no-kill policy or they are live fare for your snake you can put a couple inches of water in the bottom or antifreeze; if your trap is in a place, it could possibly freeze. Regardless, they can’t get out once they drop in.
