This ending made me cry. A game where the the comedy and light-heartedness of it was its main appeal shouldn't make me cry. How was I supposed to know that this sort of game would kill an important character? It's even more sad when you rewatch the opening cutscene and realise how much he was loved and how loving he was. It is so dark that for the entire game you're trying to save him not even knowing he is lifeless. Those reasons and the tonal whiplash this ending brings left me and probably you as well so sad that the funniest credits sequence ever to be seen wasn't even funny anymore. Then a laser appears, coming out of Hattington and disintrigating something weird thing bigger than the earth and then you are sent right back to the title screen no explanation or context. What the peeslosh? Why did I type this comment? Probably just to dispense my thoughts in an attempt to make myself feel better.

I love how cinematic it is while showing leader after leader, what I mean is Purham Furrbottom was leader of cats, then the cats put the hat on Hatty who then brought mine screwerey to the world and I love the deep opera behind even though it's the funniest and and least serious song ever it's amazing. He was simply immobilized, fighting an internal battle of good and happiness vs. evil and negative feelings. When the hat was removed, hatty was still alive, but just fazed a little. This also took away the bad thoughts in his head and allowed him to think good ones again. When the hat floated back on for the 2nd and final time, his good thoughts eradicated the bad ones in the hat (ran out of space)
