Ohhhh the cushions are VERY secured down with Velcro. The whole couch is Velcro which makes it easy to remove and wash. The ottom is also secured with a large screw nut thing! Everything stays in place very nicely!

How is the dark fabric with the light dogs’ hair? I have 2 dogs with light hair and was thinking about the black couch because I also have a toddler and am unsure if the white hair would drive me nuts. Is it easy to get their hair off? Thanks!
We have 2 white dogs and 1 orange tabby. I don' think it shows much cause the black couch has white strips. If it bugs you enough, I would just throw it in the washer!

We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and sometimes baby sit other dogs sometimes so we really bought it because it was water repellent and washable. I recommend going into a 7th Avenue Store and sitting on it. I feel various people have various levels of what they look for in comfort. Geoff wants his couch to be EXTREMELY soft and pretty much eat him up. I had a really hard time getting out of our last couch and did not enjoy that, but he did. This couch is study enough that I can actually get out of it which to me is kind of important!

Did you get the stand or the deep one ? Also does the pillows move to the front when you seat in?
I got the standard one. The pillows do not move to the front when we sit in it. Everything stays pretty put.
