    Cool !! Can you make a tutorial on how to make sprokets for tank thread how do you go about and calculator pitch of sprokets is it trial and error

      Sure! I made a tutorial like this on tank treads. It is coming out soon.

    Hello, I am still a beginner in fusion 360. How did u set the distances between each link when you subtracted the pitch from the measured distance? Thank you

    • @AvivMakesRobots
      @AvivMakesRobots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I measured the distance between each link, but did not set it. I divided the full length of the path by ".25". The trick is to have a path length that is evenly divisible by ".25".

    You can do this precisely by making the sprocket first

    • @AvivMakesRobots
      @AvivMakesRobots  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup. Luckily the pitch is built for a particular sprocket size.

    How do you get the links to import directly on to the path?

    • @AvivMakesRobots
      @AvivMakesRobots  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I built both of these parts on the origin. Therefore when I brought it in, it snapped to the origin as it is supposed to. Where did your link import to? If it does not import right to the origin point, it's okay... You can move it with the arrows. Let me know if you hit other snags.

    hey did you make the tutorial video about how to make the tank tread sketch?

      Hi Jacob, yes, that is covered in the video with this name: *Robotic Tank Tread Assembly- Fusion 360 Tutorial (Tracked Robot Part 2)*

    it seem i can't do along a path for some reason its very buggy and the preview all messed up :S i am MAD

    • @AvivMakesRobots
      @AvivMakesRobots  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is Fusion... It is very slow when you have many parts. I would say try to skip every other link.

      @@AvivMakesRobots what you mean by that ?
      but i found a work around i leave the number of link as the last part when putting setting i enter like 80 link and then quickly press ok
      it generate faster

    • @AvivMakesRobots
      @AvivMakesRobots  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@buder5116 Interesting. Maybe because it can't load the preview that quickly? Happy to hear that helps.

    You worked so much, but in the end you don't show the links moving!?! Should we assume that you did something wrong?

      lol I have no idea why this comment is there I’m so sorry. I’ve been watching all your videos to try and figure out my tank I’m building, so that’s embarrassing!
      I’ve been trying to make my treads from TPU, but I’ve had a hard time making the wheels and treads match up with fusion. So, sorry for the weird comment, but I appreciate your videos!
