I have pretty much the same composting toilet. I used it for the 1st time recently. Here is what I found is good to do to stop smells. Line the bottom of the solids area with cat litter pellets (soak up moisture) Have a box / bag of sawdust / pete (organic material) to cover the poop. Have a citrus spray for the pee area it really gets rid of the pee smell. Empty the pee out often. Its the worst smelling of the two believe it or not.
I would of thought the cooker would have a automatic ignition plus the Le Creuset kettles are great BUT they will take more gas than normal to boil because of thickness, its more of a Aga kettle, I use a Vango 1.6ltr whistling kettle...but hey its your van so your rules..👍👍
Fantastic achievement guys. Allot of ppl will be great full for all your hard work and sharing your build journey, with ups and downs, as it comes. You have proved to many what you can achieve if you stick to it. I bet you put a tremendous amount of work and resources, made it, and shared with the wide world. I have done similar work, not quite to your extent, and realise the effort made. We wish you many happy van life moments, enjoy your van to its full.

A separate bin for teabags is a good idea, if they're in with everything else they stay wet & breed fruitflies, pink mould & all sorts of unpleasantness. I use a sieve to get them dry as fast as possible.

You should fit a pressure test point on the gas near your tank and test with a manometer, that will give you a safer ore reliable test for leaks.
