This was the duty that Death hated the most, he was to take this poor little innocent one away. This little one would never get to see anything more of this world, Death would take him to another world, and perhaps this little one would find joy there. Death took some solace in the knowledge that this little one would avoid so much more tragedy by leaving now.
Death followed the little one all that day and watched as his time approached, at last the little one lay on the floor, and the horrible man who owned him stepped up. Death could hardly bear to watch as the man plunged the knife down, almost taking joy in destroying the little one's body. The little one's soul rose and Death stepped closer holding out his hand in silence as he had done countless times. The little one seemed not realize it had passed and leapt into Death's arms, with a deep purring sound, and it snuggled close. Death wept silently as he carried this sweet, kind, undeserving, and innocent soul, into his own realm.

I haven't cried in years, last time I cried was when I lost my black kitty.
When I saw the thumbnail, I started crying all of a sudden. An image of his lifeless body appeared infront of me.
I Never kept a cat after he left me.
I have 2 black cats and I love them both, but when the time comes, I wont leave their beds empty, but instead give hope to another cat. I know it's hard but you should get another cat. Give the love and warmth to another lifeform, for it is what your cat would want. For a hopeless and unloved cat to make you happy once more and give a good life to a seemingly helpless cat.

Victim is not a beautiful creature; it is ugly and tearful, always sobbing and begging for help.
Victim does not have any personality beyond sadness and anger, for it was not made for happiness.
Victim lurks in the darkness for if it is endulged with light, it will surely be happy.
Victim was not cute or cuddly, beautiful or pleasant. Victim did not seem vulnerable because if it did, then surely someone would help him? Then what use is Victim if it has been saved from it's pain.
Victim longs for a friend - but it doesn't have any, otherwise how would he be a victim?

“I’m sorry little one” I chocked out as the ball of life sat and purred in front of me. I felt almost like the cat itself. I had a ball of lives to play with and I always get tangled up in them, showing them a tiny light to follow me to their cut end. Life after all is a disappointment. “I do wish there was another way” barely speaking as inaudible gasps rushed out of my mouth desperately trying to aid this poor creatures heart. To nest in its ears til it’s pain ceased. It stopped. The purring. All that was left was the glassy eyes frozen in content as the stain of my guilt got more noticeable and noticeable.

I made a little story...
The little grey kitten sat in the allyway tucked between the building and city street. He was weary and weak. There wasnt much to do but wait, as the sun sat that day. He saw a floating man in black, glance at him with tearful eyes. He approached the kitten, and extended an open hand. His voice was deep and rugged when he spoke, but the kitten trusted the man. "Come with me." He said. "I swear, I mean no harm. I can make it better." So the kitten, with it's matted fur and small legs, stood as well as he could. He trotted over and stared at the hand that beconed warmth. The kitten thought back to the elderly woman that used to feed him everyday, and leave a bowl of tuna fish to soothe his stomach aches. Oh, how he wished the woman could stroke his fur again. So, he purred happily, and came closer to the extended hand. And finally, he brushed against it. He meowed one last time, happy and purring. The cold damp alley way was no more. There, the grey kitten sat. On a hill painted in pastels. The gentle breeze and chirping of birds surrounds the cat. And over to his left, sat the woman, and a bowl of tuna fish.
This was the mini story that moved me the most

It tugs on my heart strings, It makes me feel everything in my life and truly explains what my book parallel to my life is about. Thank you for you're music but most of all, thank you for this song.

I adopted her a few months back
They were two dogs only young
Almost neglected by a family until
My family stepped in and adopted them

The last day I had her
She was taken too the vets
And was put down due to cancer
Her brother didn't understand
He looked and looked the next day
But couldn't find his sister
He cried
And cried of not having his sister with him
I tried to cheer him up but nothing could satisfy
Such a sad doggo
Although she's not far
Rio always leave space for his sister on there bed
And he only has little to show how much he loved his sister!

((A lil story about this, my family adopted two doggos back and they were about to be neglected by a family so my family adopted these two doggos, lulu was the dog that had cancer ((leukemia)) and Rio was that sad doggo this actually happened 3 months back we had them for 8 months. Lulu was a good girl! 💖💖))

you can never escape death
but death isn't chasing you
death is waiting for you
They say either way death is unforgiving
but death isn't bad, they wait until you find them and then help you recover from life
the hand of death isn't cold, it's a guiding warmth to help you find peace
Death doesn't take from the people living
it gives them a chance to appreciate life before returning to death's welcoming smile

death is one of my best friends
when I find them and they take me away you can cry

My favorite thing that i've ever read is a webtoon where one chapter had Death talking with a lady and talking about their personal lives. He states that his wife had just passed the other day and the lady just gets this expression on her face like 'awkward' which it is until later at the end of the chapter when you get to see Death chatting with an invisible somebody at a table, its his wife and she is a ghost, in the scene Death's wife touches his hand for the first time because he couldn't touch her otherwise she'd die.

I stare, helpless to stop it as the villagers charge forward. I want to yell, want to tear the people away from her, but I am frozen, just like the coward I am...
"Please, my son! Go!" She yells, crying out in pain as a torch burns her skin. A tear slowly falls to the ground as her hand is torn from my own. "I love you, my dear." It was a whisper, but I heard it, each syllable pounding in my ears like a heartbeat. Or is it my own? I can't tell.
"Mother, no!" I found my voice. "Please!" They tore her away, jabbing pitchforks at my face and making me back away in fear. She screams, thrashing against the ropes tied to her wrists, and cries my name one last time.
"Nickoli!" The fire blazes, triumphant yells blocking out the screams. I cry, and fall to my knees on the dirt, before gathering myself and bolting into the forest...
It's almost 5 am in the morning and I couldn't sleep yet. I was staring at the empty, dark walls while thinking about what kind of a person I really am. And I remembered the little story that I wrote last year while listeening to your 1 hour dark thoughts piano and now listening to this.. just gave me the chills. It would be really interesting to see the whole world from your eyes, Lucas. I would truly want that.

This was the part death hated the most, having to take the lives of those who didn't deserve it, as he outstretched his hand to the old cat, he said to her "Don't worry, little one, it won't be too painful, you'll be able to run free in heaven" he then tapped the cat's nose and the cat slowly loosened it's grip and slumped on the floor, death then collected the soul of the cat and placed it in it's bag over it's shoulder, he then said with a tear in his eye, "Rest in peace, little one"

As he reached out for my hand, I could feel my consciousness fading. 'You make take my life now, as you wish. After all, I am fulfilled.'

Sentimientos desifrables y a la ves desconcertantes, pausas con gracia, respiracion que sobra aveces pero nevesaria. Se pierde lo razonable al escuchar pero se siente que late el corazon.
So grim, yet somehow still amazing.
this song seems like its supposed to be sad and it kind of is but it also feels gentle. comforting. the victim may have suffered but they are being taken care of now. Death is not meant to be scary, they merely comfort and accompany the dead.
The cats 9 lives allowed the Reaper a chance to gently careless a living being and feel for a brief moment warmth, life and connection. A single forbidden stroke- he never risked more. It always left him with a sense of marvel to pull his hand away and see the creature still breathing. A rare stolen moment of light in his dark solitary existence.

How do you do it Lucas? Did you go to school for composing or did you learn it yourself? I’m really trying to get better at my musical talent.
I taught myself composing, wish I did go somewhere to learn though wouldn't mind going to a music school for composition but feel like I've probably missed that boat.

-Victim-
Victim was a lonley shadow who faded away as a memory now roaming all alone in the dark, he came across a beam of light so he hovered over noticing a cat. Victim was wary and curious he had never seen a cat before. Was he going to hurt it? Victim reached his long and sharp nails towards the cat attempting to pat it but suddenly a red dot appeared this meant he was going to see light once again he was relieved now victim and the cat roams together he is no longer alone

Death (the grim reaper) is the victim of any story. He is hated by all for taking loved ones away from them and he has never had any friends to call his own. Everytime he has to guide a spirit into the afterlife he looses more of himself becoming used to the pain and hatred from others. But when he sees an innocent animal who has done no wrong to anyone including himself, part of his remorce returns. Death lives a truly sad life. 😔

It's such an amazing thing that whenever I listen to your music, I relax and start thinking about something, something that is always somehow connected to the feelings and theme of the song I'm listening to. Great job on this one as always, made me think about a time where I felt like a victim around my friends.
