Morini 350 Engine strip & inspection part 1

Taking a look at an engine with some real problems. Cam followers so worn they broke a pushrod is just a start. I misremembered the mileage, it had done 6000 miles since the rebore. The bike was reported as displaying just 30,000 miles, but must have done many, many more.

That's going to be sooo much better once you have ministered to it. From scrap to gem, all being well.
I seem to recall we two having a conversation about broken push rods .😉

Are you sure there isn't a one missing from the beginning of the stated milage?

Has this engine been run with low oil?
