I cannot thank you enough for making this video showing us how to light our vans to get maximum effect together with the sourcing and sharing of some fantastic components in order to do so. Wishing you many happy adventures with your fantastic van build !
I am hopeless with DIY other than making wooden garden planters -- I bumped onto your video because I was looking at how to replace 12v spotlight but I have watched all of it. You have explained very well everything and I loved seeing the joy on your face when the lights came on! Thank you!
Hi , Nice and very informative video! Would you mind to give me a little advice? I’m going to install 3 lights in my renault trafic van. Question is. The old lights has a 3 core cable and most of led lights has only red and black wire. How can I install 2 wire led into 3 wire circuit? Many thanks
Thanks dude! If the lights have a 3 core cable, that means they were running off an AC current, whereas 2 wire LEDs will likely be requiring a DC current so won’t be compatible. Where’s the power source for the lights?
I just noticed that you didn’t explain how to connect the little light blue wire clamps to the end of the wire that you connected to the wire running from the positive wire to the light. I can’t figure out how to do this?
@@chartmann43 I just crimped them to the end of the cable exactly the same way I added the pink connectors to the end of the other side - crimped, then added heatshrink 👍🏼
Hi, Thanks for reply but this is absolutely not a case .This is standard commercial renault trafic van. It has never had any modifications at all. 3 core wire is originally fitted electric system buy manufacturer. I have a picture but don’t know how to share it with you. Thanks mate
Hi pal currently doing my first ever build and currently studying all kinds of lights and ways to wire them in 😂 scared of the bloody things 😅😅 them t taps look very novice friendly tho. How are they doing 1 year later have you had any problem with them.
Hello mate, thanks for the comment! I thought the exact same thing when I discovered them 😂 Still going strong and haven’t had any issues with them so far 👍🏼
I was literally having a nervous breakdown today looking for SOMEONE to show a damn video of actually showing the entire wire running through the Van! 🚐 I was as about to give up and I found YOU! I know this is two years old and I hope these things you’re are still available?
It is a wonderful feeling when something works, just started my lights. New sub
Lol that emotion in the video, trepidation to elation in a flick of a switch, brilliant.
Honestly up there in my top 3 life achievements to date
The happiness in your face... 🎉 Nice work! Looks perfect. ⭐️🎖

What make are the lights and did they come with the touch screen controller ? Link please 😊
Hey bud! There should be links to everything used in the video description. The got the lights and dimmer switch separately but both from Amazon 👍🏼
Let there be light!
You heard it here first
What size cable did you use please buddy?
Hey bud! I used 1.5mm red and black cable to connect up the lights: amzn.eu/d/1i79FVh & amzn.eu/d/8sIyzw4 👌
