I haven't read the books, but it would make so much more sense for Eloise to end up with Theo than with Sir Phillip. Otherwise, you'd be throwing away her whole character and everything she stands for and feels uncomfortable with. She continuesly shows her dislike of society, especially one of high status, and the expectations pushed onto her as a woman. Theo, being not part of that and actually working to change something that Eloise also wants to change, is a perfect fit here.
the serues have a lot of difference comparing to the book, there's no such thing as Theo and no such thibg as scandal about her vefore meeting sir Philip and there id no sych thing as fighting with Pen after knowing her true identity. There's even no such thing and hating the society or what.

The book was one of most underwhelming of B collections, tv Eloise isn’t the same as the book, Quinn is better at her romance/sex writing than character development, tv Philip is also underwhelming and doesn’t have a presence when he’s on screen, looks much older too, let’s see what Shondaland does

I think we can all appreciate just how GREAT the writers/producers and actors could portray Eloise and Theo's love story! We don't have to do much to imagine how great and honest and revolutionary it would be - he's not one of them yet he's every bit as worthy of her as any man of The Ton/of higher birth would be. He's an intellect with respect for women and their rights and he's really quite similar to Eloise's character. I do believe that he is her match - I believe that she would not need to bend her will or who she is for marriage's sake with him and I think THAT would make one of - if not THE best - honest love stories of all the Bridgerton siblings. Also, if we reallyyyy think ab it, I highly doubt - at the end of the day - her family would shun her for her choices since they all value true love (especially since Violet and Edmund held it to such high regard in their own marriage and subsequent raising of their children) and wrt to society and The Ton then I don't find it hard to believe that Eloise would eventually deal with anything she will have to. * If it wasn't obvious, I ship Eloise and Theo :D *

I refuse, they'll definitely be endgame. And tbf the directors changed a LOT of plot so why not change this one too. In the books she's actually more open to the idea of finding a husband than she is on the show. I think the purpose of Theo was to show El that getting married might not be so bad. Although, I still don't think she'll say yes to just anyone. It's all about character development.
as much as season two left me hanging on what will happen to eloise, i love that she gets more screentime than before. also, i absolutely LOVE her and theo together. their chemistry every time they interact makes me yearn more for them. also, i'm so adored by theo like finally someone understands her in her views about women and the way he understands her more than pen. really wish she would end up with theo instead.
When she first met Theo, I knew that there was going to be something between them just because of that bickering moment they had, it reminded me of how Anthony and Kate were always bickering and how they mentioned that every Bridgerton tends to fall in love with the person who challenges them or something like that. Also I seen Theo and I was like woah he is cute 😯, I really thought them really cute together but sadly I also knew that it would probably not end well since she eventually ends up with someone else later on.

There are a lot of whole new characters in the series that aren’t in the books. Marina is one. In the books she is only Sir Philip’s dead wife and distant cousin to the Bridgertons. What I didn’t like is how Eloise acted during this series, especially at the end. In the books Eloise had these thoughts of being trapped, but she would never desert her family or invade a friend’s privacy as the series Eloise did.
They might change things, but they wouldn't throw the whole book away. The only reason they brought Theo in was for Eloise's character development. She's still gonna end up with Phillip.

Theo is what Eloise needs, not the other guy (who is nice, but not someone for Eloise). This is the approach to other social classes Bridgerton lacks from on the books. They have a nice opportunity to fix this here.
Yup ! They've already strayed from the books in so many other ways. And Eloise's arc seems to be about discovering a world outside of her own and finding herself. Theo's words at the end of this video as well as Penelope's about her never taking action would mean that her development will be about her finally taking real risks. It wouldn't make sense at this point to just give her a traditional romantic arc...
Actually of all the sisters, Eloise is probably the one I can see marrying a widower. Also, Phillip is clearly intelligent and that's what Eloise is looking for in a man. Theo was just brought in to open her up to the idea of marriage, because in the books she's not as opposed to it as she is in the show.

Luckily she fell in love with Philip but that could have been disastrous for Eloise. The show seems to be dead set on diverging from the books in fundamental ways. In that case i don't think it would be unreasonable to expect the writers to go in a different direction. I understand that it would have been unrealistic for her to be an activist in the book but since the show seems so intent on pulling her out of the Mayfair bubble and connecting her to the world through Penelope's words and Theo's comments about her background and priviledge. Whether they keep Theo as a character in the development of her arc or not. Whether we meet sir Philip Crane again or not i just hope they don't discard the experiences that she has been through in previous seasons once they get to her story.
What I love about the series is how the Bridgerton siblings are so different and yet so similar THIS is a change from the book that I can get behind if they decide to go this route. Eloise is very much like Anthony, a strong personality that needs to be challenged. She will be bored if she married a regular man from the 'ton'. Theo keeps her on her toes the way Kate kept Anthony on his. And if anyone were to marry a regular man it would be Eloise.
THIS! I want the people who are saying they want Eloise to end up with sir Philip to read this. Like the show's Eloise is built absolutely differently than the book's Eloise and giving the show's Eloise the book's ending is absolutely unforgivable. Theo is a perfect match and i don't think her family will object much about this as they all root for true love and the showmaker seems to make the queen little by little understanding and supportive so maybe she will understand the love between Eloise and Theo (just like she understood and rooted for Anthony-kate and Simon-daphne) and she will excuse this class thing for Eloise or maybe she will understand how this class thing affects people and she will try to remove classism from the society (maybe I'm expecting too much 😂)

I loved the sir Phillip story. He is acceptable for Eloise as he has a title, but he is not of the ton. He is educated and has a career. So will be a good foil for Eloise. Theo would never be acceptable as a partner. I think what Eloise hates the most is coming up to London for the season, she hates dressing up and the deb season. But it’s what was done. Eloise would prefer a life where who could be in charge without having to play the game. With Phillip she found the perfect match. I never liked Marina she is hard to warm up to.
Nah, the emotional healing Phillip goes through was so touching. Without Eloise there to help him heal, it would break my heart. Theo was just a means to an end (as much as I liked him)

Their book was more an opposite attract, because they didn't like each other when they met. But in general, their story was about her helping Phillip heal after his marriage and it was really emotional.

Netflix made the same mistake with Theo that they made with Sienna in S1. Why introduce these characters, give them a story and a romance with one of the Bridgerton siblings when we all know it's going to be doomed. People don't want to get invested in relationships that are not going to be endgame. Eloise will end up with Sir Philipp, all the Bridgertons end up with their book partners. So Theo was a waste of time - unless they want to bring him back in Eloise's season to be a rival to Sir Philip, like Prince Friedrich or Mr. Dorset for the others.
I mean, Eloise and Theo are cute together and I wouldn’t mind them ending up together (yeah, I know they probably won’t if they go after the book) but the actors look so much alike they could be siblings. Kinda threw me a bit off in the beginning.

We haven’t seen how Mr. Phillip looks and treats Eloise. Let there be options to be explored. We haven’t seen Eloise around Philip as well. Theo is cute but Eloise is learning and experiencing romantic feelings something she isn’t accustomed too. The series has an enticing and beautiful way of connecting characters.

When she first met Theo, I knew that there was going to be something between them just because of that bickering moment they had, it reminded me of how Anthony and Kate were always bickering and how they mentioned that every Bridgerton tends to fall in love with the person who challenges them or something like that. Also I seen Theo and I was like woah he is cute 😯, I really thought them really cute together but sadly I also knew that it would probably not end well since she eventually ends up with someone else later on.

I'm convinced that theo and eloise are going to ne endgame. Imo when marina said 'this is my life now etc.' To colin this was for me some kind of foreshadowing that marina is going to stay married to sir Phillip. Otherwise i just can't think of a reason why the directors would create a WHOLE NEW character, make him and eloise have such meaningful moments only to break uo and never be endgame?? I refuse. And tbf the directors changed a LOT of plot so why not change this one too
There are a lot of whole new characters in the series that aren’t in the books. Marina is one. In the books she is only Sir Philip’s dead wife and distant cousin to the Bridgertons. What I didn’t like is how Eloise acted during this series, especially at the end. In the books Eloise had these thoughts of being trapped, but she would never desert her family or invade a friend’s privacy as the series Eloise did.

Theo is what Eloise needs, not the other guy (who is nice, but not someone for Eloise). This is the approach to other social classes Bridgerton lacks from on the books. They have a nice opportunity to fix this here.

Theo's words at the end of this video as well as Penelope's about her never taking action would mean that her development will be about her finally taking real risks. It wouldn't make sense at this point to just give her a traditional romantic arc...
Actually of all the sisters, Eloise is probably the one I can see marrying a widower. Also, Phillip is clearly intelligent and that's what Eloise is looking for in a man. Theo was just brought in to open her up to the idea of marriage, because in the books she's not as opposed to it as she is in the show.

Luckily she fell in love with Philip but that could have been disastrous for Eloise. The show seems to be dead set on diverging from the books in fundamental ways. In that case i don't think it would be unreasonable to expect the writers to go in a different direction. I understand that it would have been unrealistic for her to be an activist in the book but since the show seems so intent on pulling her out of the Mayfair bubble and connecting her to the world through Penelope's words and Theo's comments about her background and priviledge. Whether they keep Theo as a character in the development of her arc or not. Whether we meet sir Philip Crane again or not i just hope they don't discard the experiences that she has been through in previous seasons once they get to her story.

What I love about the series is how the Bridgerton siblings are so different and yet so similar
THIS is a change from the book that I can get behind if they decide to go this route. Eloise is very much like Anthony, a strong personality that needs to be challenged. She will be bored if she married a regular man from the 'ton'. Theo keeps her on her toes the way Kate kept Anthony on his. And if anyone were to marry a regular man it would be Eloise.
THIS! I want the people who are saying they want Eloise to end up with sir Philip to read this. Like the show's Eloise is built absolutely differently than the book's Eloise and giving the show's Eloise the book's ending is absolutely unforgivable. Theo is a perfect match and i don't think her family will object much about this as they all root for true love and the showmaker seems to make the queen little by little understanding and supportive so maybe she will understand the love between Eloise and Theo (just like she understood and rooted for Anthony-kate and Simon-daphne) and she will excuse this class thing for Eloise or maybe she will understand how this class thing affects people and she will try to remove classism from the society (maybe I'm expecting too much 😂)

Netflix made the same mistake with Theo that they made with Sienna in S1. Why introduce these characters, give them a story and a romance with one of the Bridgerton siblings when we all know it's going to be doomed. People don't want to get invested in relationships that are not going to be endgame. Eloise will end up with Sir Philipp, all the Bridgertons end up with their book partners. So Theo was a waste of time - unless they want to bring him back in Eloise's season to be a rival to Sir Philip, like Prince Friedrich or Mr. Dorset for the others.
Her endgame happens to be the Widowed Mr. Philip Crane. Pity when Theo is so charming :(

Cause at the moment that's what she's done, the only connection Marina and Sir Phillip have had is with Colin and Penelope so they could easily leave it be. But since they might have Eloise and Phillip together, they'll surely expand Marina's storyline.
