It is important to use a high-quality, finely ground activated charcoal powder to achieve a true black colour. Lower quality or coarsely ground charcoal may result in a greyish colour instead. Therefore, selecting a good quality activated charcoal powder can make a difference in achieving a deep black colour in your soap.

I used 4 tsp activated charcoal in this recipe and yes you can add kojic powder
