However, cool it gradually to avoid uneven solidification, which can make it harder to achieve a smooth, stable consistency.

To incorporate powdered propolis, you can dissolve it in a small amount of liquid. A good option is a bit of warm distilled water. Just mix enough to create a smooth consistency, then measure out 3 grams of the mixture. Make sure to blend it well into your recipe so that the propolis distributes evenly throughout the body butter.

Water also dissolves water-soluble ingredients. Removing it would result in a balm or body butter, which has a completely different texture and function.

Keep the cream at room temperature, as storing it in the refrigerator will make it too hard to apply due to the ingredients solidifying.

My extract is not oil-soluble, as it contains water, ethanol, and MPG, which are typically water-soluble. However, it works well in formulations that contain water or water-based ingredients, as it dissolves easily in those. If you're working with oil-only formulations, this particular extract may not be suitable unless an emulsifier is used.

Make sure the water level is below the jar/beakers lid. Heat gently for 2-4 hours. Keep an eye on the water level and top up if necessary. Once infused, strain the oil, and store it in a bottle or jar. Use in skincare, soap, massage oils, bath oils, haircare, balms & salves

Thank you so much. Since Argireline solution is typically diluted compared to the powder form, you will need to adjust the amount. The solution usually contains around 5-10% Argireline. I used 10g of Argireline powder in my recipe. If the Argireline solution is around 10%, you would need about 100g of it to match the active content, which seems a lot. Adjust the rest of your formulation accordingly to maintain consistency and balance. Sorry I can't help more; I’ve only researched the solutions and haven’t used them

@MohamedBd-e8f I always answer questions! My recipe doesn't contain salicylic acid. You should have used ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), but instead, you’ve made something different. What you’ve created is a 10% salicylic acid serum, which is effective for exfoliation, treating acne, and removing dead skin cells, excess sebum, and debris. While it can be used sparingly for these purposes, keep in mind that 10% is much stronger than typical over-the-counter products. Such a high concentration may be too harsh for regular use, potentially causing skin irritation, peeling, or burning, especially for sensitive skin. When making your next batch, be sure to use ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) as originally intended.
