- Today I'm reviewing the Nike Vapormax 2.0! The Vapormax originally released in 2017 for Air Max Day and became an extremely popular silhouette even with its polarizing design. This year Nike introduced the second iteration of the sneaker the Vapormax 2.0. The Vapormax 2.0 features small changes for added durability during performance wear. Was really glad you selected the same colorway that I did, but damn, you slammed the shoe. I'm still waiting for my pair to arrive so I can't disagree with your opinion as of yet. Everything you're saying makes sense though. I was really hoping that the heel counter and front toe guard (the latter of which I didn't notice in pictures) would be an improvement. I got my OG Vapormax for lifestyle wear and thought it was good, though flimsy. I also thought it was a logical successor to the OG Vapormax in lieu of there being a yearly air max flagship model since the Vapormax debuted last year. I appreciate your honesty in the review in any case. Are you planning on checking out the Air Max Day art exhibits in Brooklyn? I want to go but haven't nailed down a time yet. Have a good day!
I 100% understand what you mean about the rubber reinforcement on the heel. I wish it was a full U on the heel so i dont feel like my feet cave to the center when i step.

dude all nikes come up different .. I am a 12 US and Nikes are always 1/2 too big.Other brands are 29.5cm....Nike are 30cm. I found these the widest shoe i have ever put on!..and Happy Birthday!!!

Ever since I saw the vapormax I really did not like the sole, but i just looked at the triple black (it’s not stated specifically as such but still) Vapormax Run Utility and I honestly think it looks really cool and futuristic. I think it might just be the sole being black that makes me not hate it, but regardless I can’t believe I saw a Vapormax I actually liked and am planning on possibly buying.

Got the first VaporMax, after a few wearings it just wasn’t as comfortable as when I first tried it in-store. Got blisters in the heel area, interior lacked foam. The cushioning just isn’t there, feels like any ordinary stiff EVA midsole. Side view looks great. Flyknit upper is still great, wraps around your foot snugly. VaporMax 2.0 the design didn’t improve. The segmented bubbles feels odd when impacting the ground.

they dont look as good as the 1.0. All they did was add ugly ass pieces of plastic to the back and side and made it look a lot less clean. the Vapormax is dead after the off whites drop. They ruined the shoe like how they do every long running shoe series (kd,lebron,kobe,penny,air max etc)......also happy birthday man, you've made a big name for yourself

I like these better than the ultra boost 4.0. I felt into the adidas hype and bought the triple black UB 4.0 & waisted my money. An hour wearing those fuckers my foot went numb. The foam is ok but I’m 6ˋ 4 258 lbs so is not as comfortable as people say. When I got home I changed to my air max 2016 & whatta difference. IMO There’s nothing like an Air Max period. My opinion of course.

EQT 93/17 or UB 4.0? I want to buy a boost shoe but don’t know which one to choose. I have heard UB is better for running and EQT is better for walking, but I do a lot of both tbh. Can anyone tell me what the better overall sneaker is? Thanks.

the only thing i would have changed from the 1.0 is the tongue as it rips very easily as I found out! but it looks like they've left that be. I much prefer the look of the 1.0 but again not in all colourways. 2.0 looks like a step backwards to me

This is a RUNNING shoe and runners, good ones anyway, heal strike not heal strike. That's why the forefoot has the rubber.
