Heads up for folks on a budget: the Coros Pace 3 has all the perks that Nick mentioned for the Garmin other than the battery life (which is still decent).
@@richardcharleston2547 I agree. I suppose I was just trying not to overstate the battery life in comparison to the Garmin (which, based on Nick's review, sounds significantly longer than the Coros).
My go-to daily trainer is also Speed 3s, and I don’t like Speed 4s either. I have one more pair of fresh 3s stashed away. Hoping the 5s coming out next year will have better geometry 🤞🏼
@Nick Bare i inspired by your running journey and started running it helps me to get fit now i am a consistent morning runner (beginner 6:30/km pace 😂)...keep uploading and always connect with us .....I am from India. Thanks a lot
I have been learning a lot with you, nick. About all, workout, runs, food, lifestyle and especially english, I can understand you very well, thank you for lot.
saucony endorphin speed 3s are my favorite shoes. I like the ES4 as well but the ES3 seems to fit me better, something with the upper & laces just works for my feet G1M Sport is amazing too and I love the BPN electrolytes. I wish I had ordered more during the BF sale.
Those nb sc trainer shoes have a carbon fiber plate in it. It’s considered a “super trainer” shouldn’t be used as a daily, lifting, or walking around town. But to each their own
Yeah the Speed 3 has a nylon plate, and the SuperComp has a carbon plate. The SuperComp is part of the super trainer trend that tries to pair max cushioning, carbon plate and durability. Both great shoes for most types of training runs 👍
I'm a big fan of short shorts. Most of mine are 3in inseam. I only regrettably bought a few 5in compression shorts because chaffing on 10mile+ runs was out of control.
Theirs going to be a lot of runners wearing “nick bare” fits now. Wearing all the same gear and etc. Not bad at all to wear his go toos. The line up is impressive.

Hello Nick, I have been following the channel enthusiastically for some time and feel motivated by the achievements shown, as a strength athlete and at the same time a fast runner. That's why I wanted to order some cool T-shirts from the shop to Germany, which unfortunately isn't possible. I would be happy if there was an opportunity to do this soon. Kind regards, Alex
What shoe would you use for a road ultra - I am doing Glasgow 2 Edinburgh which is 57 miles (91 km). I have owned a pair of Saucony Endorphin speed 3s and they work for me, but would these be good for an ultra pave run or are there better alternatives ??
Nick, you mentioned rolling your ankles. Could you sometime speak on those types of injuries and your recovery? I sprained my ankle by rolling it back in March during a run and it still hurts. I was told that because I’m in my 30s I won’t recover as well. How do you avoid these injuries and how do you recover from them? Also what does your stretching/warmup pre run look like? Thanks. Zack
Yo Nick, thank you for keep posting inspiring content and keep us all pushing one more every day! I used to take BPN products for running and fitness sessions but can’t recall where I bought them, where is the best place to order from to Sweden? Cheers
Can we get some kosher certified products 🙏🏻, love the content. Also, how do the garmin watches interface with iPhones? And do they work alone without a phone nearby?
Do you have an opinion on if running mechanics and technique or cardiovascular fitness is more important in mile times? Could you give a ratio like 80/20? Does it change based off distance, like 1, 3, 5, 13, 26, and up+? What do you suggest targeting for faster gains? Is there a technique to determine if plateaus are mechanics/technique, strength, or cardiovascular?
Hey Nick have you tried a Nylon strap for your Garmin? I switched to the Nylon from Silicon on my Fenix 7 Pro and it is a gamechanger. Makes the watch so much lighter and fit better. You should give it a shot.
@@xeno527 I have both. I have an Abanen one off Amazon and the Garmin Nylon strap. I like both. The Abanen is a little softer, pliable and more comfortable but doesn't last as long.
