I think it would be interesting if yuji made new system of ceiling curses forever and atleast giving them criminal right at the end
@@ogata100nosuke Yuji creates Hueco Mundo ?
@@Thesenshin7 no just throw them to jail or something, curses can reincarnate and power system of curse energy increases more if curses hate humans more and more due to enslavement by humans.
they don't only come from fear they come from any bad emotions
I know but considering what this video is about, fear was the main source I focused on.
@@Thesenshin7 mahito was born of the fear of other humans
In a few minutes this man explained all the wasted potential within JJK's current iteration.
The uneasiness I felt in the beginning of the story slowly fizzled out, mind you that isn't inherently bad (the more you know the less you fear), however the writing began focusing on sorcerers leaving the "curse" behind.
in one of my lastest videos "the subtle horror of Jujutsu Kaisen" i went over how Gege was pressured and forced into a lot of things different from how he wanted to tell the stor. you know just awful Shonen Jump restrictions ad expectations that took the focus away from horror and directed it towards Battle.
Hope his next work is published in another magazine that gives him more freedom (Fujimoto did that)
"Haha Kenjaku got smashed by Itadori's dad, that's so funny."

@@OctoCat5749 WE need that kenjussy
I really hate that gege didn't really include curses as a major part of the story after shibuya and minor parts in culling games. The series would be a lot more suspenseful if he'd lean into that instead of sorcerers as much.
It’s because Gege just wanted to get JJK done with. He hated the mangaka work schedule he was under, and on top of that the publisher’s were telling him what and what not to do with his story, and it started turning into something he didn’t want to make anymore. So he rushed the story to get it out of the way and done with. Hopefully, now that he’s got a lot of recognition, he’ll create something new and get to proceed how he wants to make it.

Something that I wanted to mention while watching the video was how these curses seemed to physically appear more human-like, the closer they represented the destruction and fear of humanity. For example, take Mahito and compare him to the curse we saw in the first episode or any curse really. It really emphasizes on him being the mirror that reflects humanity. I personally thought that was a cool detail :)
On a completely different and off-topic note, when Hanami first appeared in jjk, I saw them as this personification of Mother Nature, or Mother Nature’s rage towards humanity. (If that makes sense.)
Great takeaway ! Hanami also has a feminine mother like voice for that purpose
This is the best analysis I've seen of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Thanks for the kind words !
Definitely not going to frame this comment and hang it on a wall…
its really cool to think about all the conspiracys that must be in the jjk world that normal people have to deal with and everything. i really liked this video and i think the series, while hard to find has some really interesting stuff to talk about outside of who can beat who in a fight. nice video
Thanks for the comment ! Glad you enjoyed the video

ok I’ll help you, Your biological mother is so morbidly obese, when she had to get her yearly physical done, the doctor took her blood and the results concluded that she had a high blood pressure on said Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, and the possibility of heart disease. She also suffers from severe depression, because she lacks confidence in her physical appearance which enables her to consume even more food, making her more obese. Not to mention but your mother is becoming so monstrous she had a hard time fitting through small spaces and exceeding weight limits on practical applications. Your mother has a cycle of malicious eating habits only make her health worse and over time.

It would really cool if JJK chose one or another non-sorcerer that suffered /suffer because of curses and explored it, it would make the series way more deep :')
I was wishing for that, another Junpei like arc but with someone who doesn’t even see curses
Like following an occult fan like Yuji’s middle school club mates
An adult that investigates cursed areas like those crazy people that be recording those videos on TH-cam !
@@Thesenshin7 Hell yeah, yould fucking love that
Dude, you just keep killin it! This was great.
Appreciate you ! Glad you enjoyed it
You know the worst thing is by the rules set in the universe the new curses at the end of the story will be way stronger and scarier in order to even out the scales...(its the same thing the Gojo's birth did but now there are like 4 people alive nearing his lvl) So the universe will balance it out.
That would drastically cheapen the concept as a whole and undermine Gojo's portrayal as the honored one
@@law6800 Hey I don't make the rules. It has been stated that do to Gojo birth and power cursed spirit HAD to become stronger to even out the scales. This is an in universe by product of CE. Now there is 3-4 people UNNATURALY strong(near to Gojo lvl) the balance of scales is off and the universe WILL swing the pendulum to fix it. but GeGe probably forgot this rule by the end of the story so it's no biggie
@@slesh_master not a single character in the show is around gojo level except for sukuna (who is stronger than gojo). Gojo and sukuna are still head and shoulders and THEN SOME above the rest of the cast.
Also, it is not a rule, so I don't know why you're treating it as such. It is a one-off statement and a phenomenon which befits the birth of a six eyes+limitless user, which hasn't happened in 400 years.
this won't happen because there are no sorcerers anywhere near gojo and sukuna's level. it took like 15 people to take him down and a bunch of them died. by the rules established in the series, this explicitly will not happen, and your idea that it will doesn't actually make any sense
they arent nearing his level gojo could clear them all in a 1v1 with 1 punch, 2 if they're lucky
The idea that Mahito is Yuji is fascinating to me because it goes so much deeper than "I kill people without a second thought, and you save them without a second thought". Yuji is basically what human morality is supposed to be, he is the embodiment of what is morally good to humans. If Mahito is Yuji, that means that Mahito represents the morality of curses. Him being a reflection of Yuji challenges the way humans view their own moral code as absolute. The idea that they can't approach curses as being evil is paralyzing because human nature forces us to figure out what they are if they aren't evil. The only thing that is certain about Mahito's morality is that he doesn't give a shit if the same thing applies to him. He kills humans not because he believes it's good, but because he enjoys it. So if everything Mahito does comes from a place of pure malice, with no greater purpose or vision, what does that say about Yuji?
Great analysis ! Thank you
Love this video! It’s interesting to see the story through a different perspective than just sorcerers. I love the creativity and thoughtfulness you put into this. 🙏
Thanks !
Mahito and kenjaku are probably one of the best anime villains, they have an amazing amount of cunning to them, and they’re totally evil, one ruined his life, the other made it
Saw what you did there
U made a post 1 month ago asking for character analysis suggestions, and I think yhwach would be great for it. From his intentions, to how he plans things out, to how he manipulated uryu, to the aswaltch which took out ichigo's mother. etc
I CAN HEAR THE OMINOUS BELLS TOLLING IN THE BEGINNING
Fear the old blood..
Jjk is essentially like the ring and or the grudge, but the main characters can fight on an equal playing field, plus the curses themselves aren't relegated to one specific spot.
Mahito probably could've shaped his soul produce a human body capable of producing children with another human. Created a bloodline who'd help him through hell and heaven.
No
@youngbloodbanana3376 of course. One of "what we don't talk about in Jujutsu Kaisen"

I'mma miss JJK terribly, so much world building we didnt get to see, if only it was longer.
It's better this way, lingering in the back waiting to be discovered.
revealing and expanding everything is not good worldbuilding tbh, in my hero academia we get every character's blood type and height
Maybe i'm just a huge souls fan who likes ambiguity and mystery but i don't think calling this "wasted potential" like so many do is fair
@@Thesenshin7 Maybe so, but the thought of never getting another taste of that fantasy world kinda hurts as well in my opinion.

Finally someone that questions the morality in killing curses. Humans create them and then mercilessly end their lifes coz curses are doing simply what they were born to do. Would have been great to see these questions get tackled in the manga and comsider yukis plan of ridding world of cursed energy.

You know what else we don’t talk about in jjk? JUNPEI

What are all the songs in the video? Also great video dude, first time watching and im so locked in
first one is just a mix of the ambiance from the Game Bloodborne. not a specific track
others are :
- Hunters dream Bloodborne
- Majora's Mask Song of Healing
Plot twist senshin is special grade curse
I remember when I first watched Jjk I was used to happy endings. Then junpei happened and I was shook for days
And then Riko happened
@Thesenshin7 nah I was used to it by then😭
This is giving me an existential crisis
Check under the bed
*Mahito truly is a curse.*
He said it himself
JJK is like AOT
Series fun to watch, but HORRIFYING to live in
The talk about humans and curses and how humans create a curse and kill the curses they created and blame things on them remind me of undertale’s genocide run
We play as a human who slowly is acknowledged more as a monster themselves. The human has 2 sides, “Frisk” and “Chara”
You play as Frisk, the actions you make determine what Frisk do. But in the end, you the player, is who Frisk really is
When “Frisk” commits to genocide and Chara erases the world, who do we blame? We blame the “demon” Chara. A cop out by us, for Chara states that it’s US that did everything
Just something that this video made me realise
Thanks for the comment !
Couldn’t real all of it to avoid spoilers for Undertale

I love the first part of jjk like curse spirit are litteral curse and they are just so fucking cool but during the culling game the manga just became a fight manga and thats sad like the setting is just one of a horror movie but the storie became just a normal shonen
"To test them" My ass, the only reason why all dat colorful bunch exists is cuz of Satoru's birth
Chill
''welcome to jujutsu high! climb the ranks and become the best version of yourse-''
''he is born from the humans fear of humans themselves. he is a human curse and a curse human, and none of that and all of that all the same. mahito is the mirror that reflects humanity. he is the antidote to their righteousness, and he is the result of their malice. all of the bad in... one... ''being'', born to confront them. to test them. and to bring out the... WORST in them.''
Sheeeeeesh
Imma just dream of being a sorcerer 😎
at 10:30 its basicly the time in jojos part 1 wen dio says ''how many loafs of bread have u eaten''
If Gege actually deep dive into this more
JJK would have had a much different ending maybe better or worst, good or bad
How do you truly kill a curse if they are conjured by real things like nature or the fear of it. Wouldnt they just appear again?
Yes ! Disaster curses are reborn after their death. It may takes a few years, decades or centuries but they always come back eventually

from his backstory
"What we don't talk about In Jujutsu Kaisen" literally anything outside of powescaling. I swear, most of the JJK "fans" I've seen only care about powescaling, fights in general, and their headcanons. There's a lot more to this series hidden in the subtext of the narrative, too bad most are too shallow minded to actually see it and/or acknowledge it.
