Going to state this for the record Rohans powers probably would get overruled by calamity for a number of reasons Primarily the first being Araki has stated calamity is supposed to be one of the strongest forces in the universe therefore meaning it probably overrules a lot of things lol
Another concept though: Rohan could write other objectives into people that will get them close to Touru and possibly harm him without any of them actually trying to pursue him. Rohan would still be subject to Wonder of You, and would likely die, but it has the potential for a double KO or a Rohan victory
Wonder of U seems like the easiest stand to deal with honestly. Wonder of U and Tooru aren't even in the same place most of the time Just go find Tooru and kill him That way you're not pursuing WoU
Don’t forget that time does affect fate/calamity. King Crimson literally erases his bad fate and keeps result the same for others. Maid in heaven was the one who changed fate in second universe by pushing the disk of Weather Report in Emporio. The GER literally said no to Epitaph and to time erasing. I believe that stopping time changes fate to.
@@THEGREATMAXBy pursuing Tooru, Wonder of U activates too. In final chapters Yasuho didn’t pursue WoU, she was trying to fight Tooru. He was pissed and pointed all calamity towards Yasuho. So it does work on Tooru too.

During all of part 8 I kept thinking "Man, if only Crazy Diamond was here..." One never thinks of CD as OP until you enter a world full of carnage and destruction without any healers
Reading this just made me realize that Part 8 and Part 3 are the only parts without an ability that had any kind of healing capabilities. -Part 4 had Crazy Diamond. -Part 5 had Gold Experience. -Part 6 had F.F.‘s plankton and to an extent Stone Free. -And Part 7 had Cream Starter. Even Hamon had limited healing capabilities if I’m remembering correctly.
Rai went through hell in an attempt to avenge everyone lost to Calamity, so did Yasuho and she barely had much tie into needing to kill Tooru other than his gaslighting in her youth but she gets eviscerated in the final chapters. Such a sad scene to unfold monthly. I hope Rai has another family member so they're the new Zepelli fodder lmao, I'd love a p7 avdol fakeout where a new member shows up for guidance hearing how their uncle died and immediately get merc'd giving the protag motivation to get rid of the new villains.
@@DCT-tt8ib iirc araki said that after writing part 4, he would always try to include a healer in the party so that he could have faster and more dangerous action scenes if someone got genuinely injured in part three they'd be out of commission for weeks (lookin at you avdol and kaki)
the ability to wear down your opponent is not something someone may think of as OP until they realize that a healer can drag out a fight until they get a winning situation or tire you out *always* kill the healer first
Here's an alternate method for taking down Toru with minimal risk to the lives of anybody: The Morioh Warriors would most likely realise the ability of WoU activates whenever they have the intent to pursue Toru and try to come up with a plan to discover who the stand user is without ever having the intent to pursue them. Both Rohan and especially Jotaro would most likely come up with a plan similar to this: Heaven's Door can be used to make anyone forget about anything the user desires. So Rohan uses Heaven's Door to temporarily remove everyone's intent to pursue Wonder of U and give himself the command "Will remember about the stand that is attacking them at *x* time", which would make everyone have the intent to travel to the hospital together without a reason, thus bypassing the activation for WoU. After that, Rohan could give one person (most likely Jotaro) the intent to pursue only one doctor at a time while everyone else prepares to defend the two of them from the incoming calamities. They'll know who the user is when the ability activates. After that, Rohan can get Koichi to use Echoes Act 2 to lay some traps outside of his office without Koichi knowing anything about what they'll be used for, thus making Rohan still the only person in danger. Rohan being in danger shouldn't be an issue however, if he's got 3 body guards + a person who's able to heal him whenever he needs it. Most sound effects wouldn't be dangerous, however "Woosh"ing Toru out of a window should be enough to take care of him. If that doesn't work, then the Morioh Warriors might think to turn to Hazamada and get him in on the plan. It'd take a lot more effort, but Surface's forced synchronization ability wouldn't count as pursuit. And with it, Toru could be forced to walk into incoming traffic or off a cliff or whatever the group decides works best. Sorry this comment was lengthy, but your idea got me thinking about how the best case scenario might play out. Great video.
This plan fails immediately because Rohan would be pursuing WoU by writing in everyone. You CANNOT loophole WoU. It cannot be defeated by anything that adheres to logic
the thing about calamity is that it is basically fate, so josukes healing shouldnt even be a factor. If calamity decides, it can take characters outside of jokuskes range, like a car collision, explosion ect, or it can constanly bother josuke to the point where he cant heal anyone since hes under attack. I also think that throwing something wont work, because as soon as you think about throwing something with the intent to kill, extreme calamity would strike and you would just die immedietly.
@@racket804WoU: Extreme calamity won't affect this Josuke, but what if it's something that Josuke feels as an extreme calamity! WoU: I've gone too far
If araki wanted the morioh group to win he'd probably increase jotaros plot armor by at least 10 points and he starts developing fate resistant abilities plus big brain iq or again he just says "it's the same type of stand" and ends the battle immediately.
Twosuke overcoming calamity: "I must realize myself as my own person and use these bubbles that spin at infinite speeds so that they technically do not exist in this world to bypass calamities effects." Josuke: "Oi WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT MY HAIR?"

@@akahalo4059 I don’t think Okuyasu has it in him to kill and even he doesn’t know where his ability sends him so either he kills his father or sends him to avoid
Actually I see Okuyasu actually winning this fight simply because of how stupid he actually is. I see him dealing with Toru exactly like how Kaato finally put him down, he has no desire to "pursue" Toru. If Kaato using Space Trucking to hold Toru down so she can bring out Tsurugi to do the equivalent exchange didn't count as a pursuit until after the plot was unfolded, then Okuyasu could just walk up to him, get provoked and annihilate Toru in a moment before Wonder activates. Okuyasu could die in this exchange, but hey he actually won. And Araki is enough of a madman to actually write this as the canonical way the original Morioh crew would win.
@@neonakazaru2477 by the way, what happened with calamity after Toorus death? Was it as terrible as when he was alive? Did it disappear after X thing? Or does it still exist but to a lesser extent Asking bc I don't remember it quite well
Calamity still exists and affected the Higashikata family to a lesser extent for what was just a serious hospitalization on Norisuke IV (Jobin’ induced heat stroke) would have turned fatal because of Wonder of U but then Josuke shot the reforming Wonder of U and that was it.
And how would it be written that Okuyasu starts attacking stuff haphazardly and not with the intent of stopping Wonder of U, Tooru, or Tooru’s objectives? Kaato’s trick only worked because Tooru was bleeding and couldn’t move and Kaato was far too focused on healing Tsurugi. How would one casually write one attacking blindly since the goal is to take down Tooru which will always involve some manner of pursuit?
Why everyone calls Okyasu dumb he clearly could'nt use his ability in the max potential because he is one of the good boys not vanilla ice To they defeat Tooru Rohan would probably erase the Warriors desire to pursuit WOH when they get close enough making the time when they attack just a reaction
I think Wonder of U activates with the intent to pursue, not just intent to harm. So even if someone chases after Tooru trying to help him, they would be attacled by Calamity too

I feel like okuyasu's stand can cause some kind of calamity to happen to kill someone else by enforcing a similar thing from the first okuyasu fight to happen.
If Rohan tried to write an immunity to WOU in someone, the marks he makes in them would probably just cut into them and make them bleed out and die, since evading the ability means that they intend to persue the Head Doctor
aftermath : okuyasu then sees into the future and sees infinite slavery and suffering and pointless wars he uses his new found power aka S.M.A.R.T to destroy and murder everyone to save them from infinite suffering okuyasu then starts to rebuild the world from scratch inside za handos to solve world hunger cancer every type of bacteria and makes the truly perfect world where everyone of any race, skill, religion and talents inside he then ascends into god levels of power and reaches a power called heaven he then solved a massive vampire outbreak by telling them “hey man shut the fuck up man” all the vampires then became obedient and started to help rebuild society with him he created a better world without any pointless wars or viruses everyone lived happily ever after.
I was thinking about this. What if the ability worked more like the Death Note, where it just gives people heart attacks? You'd think it would do that, but it would probably make the story a lot shorter.
I feel like if jotaro was to throw something at tooru he would probably experience a fatal calamity first, in an optimal scenario it wouldn’t be too strong and maybe only one of the morioh warriors die to protect him but it could be a strong calamity to wipe them all out because that is a direct attack at tooru threatening his life with massive intent to do so.
Easily would get clapped. And that’s an understatement None of the morioh warriors would even anticipate WoU’s attacks because at that time they never even experienced a stand power so universally broken. DIO/JOTARO were the two strongest stand users in jojo at that time and as we know from part 8 stopping time would most likely not fair well because it can probably just transfer a table in the way of star platinum
WoU would most certainly function in a time stop. It doesn't need objects for a calamity to happen. It would likely do something like making the opponent trip and thus waste the timestop. And when the timestop is over... So is that opponent's life. Calamity doesn't need objects to occur.
The way fate works in Jojo, most likely in the case of Timestop, wherever Jotaro tries to reposition himself is already fated. If Jotaro tries to dodge one manifestation of Calamity, he'll just walk head first into another. Like, the bus kicks up a rock that flies with the force of a bullet. Jotaro stops time and dodges only to fail to notice the cigarette butt doing literally the exact same thing
this would happen but its not because of fate.. because thats not how fate works. its specifically stated many times to not be that deterministic unless some power makes it that way the reason something like this would still happen is because the calamity affects people, not just objects. Mitsuba cut off her fingers and Josuke killed Rai. in essence, time stop will be used lousily or with bad timing, because Jotaro will be in the flow of calamity
I actually think Jotaro would do a lot better against WoU than we’re assuming considering how relatively easily Mamezuku(forgive me if I’m spelling it wrong) was able to survive it for any measure and figure out it’s capabilities. Jotaro is one of the most intelligent and experienced stand users and his own stand is pretty good for self defense, also thinking back to the Sheer Heart Attack fight, mans is pretty damn hardy. And then add on the rest of the team and there’s a fairly decent chance that they come out on top with minimal casualties
One of the biggest weaknesses of Wonder of U is that it doesn't activate if the user is forced to pursue someone. Okayasu can scrape away space and bring Tooru closer without technically pursuing him, since nobody is technically moving, the space between them is just no longer there.
Here is the issue though: Okuyasu woulds till have to attack him again to do damage, all the initial use of the ability does is bring him closer to Tooru and as such WOU will still activate.
wonder of U: the stand hurts people who pursue it vs crazy diamond: the stand that heals the people it pursue's Wonder of U protects the user while hurting others, while crazy diamond protects others and can't heal itself. Their really perfect opposites if you think about it
I don’t think throwing things would work since they would just go around him, josuke shot a bubble at him from point blank range and it just curved away without doing anything
I think that yes, while objects hitting Tooru would not be affected by calamity, they're still thrown by someone with an intent to pursue. Therefore they'd be stopped by WoU before they even got to throw anything.
@@IDK_Won It doesn't matter. No matter how complex you make the chain, the person behind it all still intends to pursue, so the root will be taken out first.
Ok hear me out, fate is a bitch in JoJo right? Let just Old Joseph fly a plane over general area that Tooru is in, this thing will fall on him in no time, considering Josephs... luck with planes.
Alr I've had this idea ever since I finished reading Jojolion: How would each part differ if the main villain had Wonder of you? For example, How would the Passione handle Diavolo and WoU and how would the Stardust Crusaders handle DIO and WoU. I think kira would be the hardest to beat just because of his situation but Diavolo is a close second. I hope you could make a video on this subject at some point. 😆👍
Diavolo would actually be impossible to pin down at that point since anyone trying to battle him would “mysteriously die”. Yoshikage Kira may still be defeated because he may just get too relaxed and stuff. DIO can more effectively utilize calamity with his vampiric strength and abilities. Furthermore, DIO would not have to be so careful around JoJo (though he might still waste his time stops since the useless road roller move was his own doing). Enrico Pucci would essentially have his alternate world, though if things played out like they did they would only differ in that Emporio would be poisoned first by the oxygen room instead of Pucci since when Made In Heaven was made, the rest of that battle was running away from Pucci. Had Wonder of U replaced Whitesnake or C-Moon, then Pucci’s plan is unstoppable by a long shot. Having Wonder of U is basically like having Love Train, so if Valentine had that initially or Wonder of U was the power of the assembled corpse Valentine would be unstoppable - the first is unstoppable by principle, and if Wonder of U was the corpse’s power, it wouldn’t matter since Lucy broke out by herself and ran into Valentine, and Valentine did not do much there.
@@iantaakalla8180 Road Roller wasnt useless. He needed a way to beat Jotaro without taking too much damage while ending Jotaro quickly. Even then DIO was on a power high at that time ( Drunken by power ).
@@iantaakalla8180 I think they wouldn't even beat it. WoU is ridiculously broken, G.E.R levels of Araki making a stand unfairly op. So even thinking about pursuing this fucker, deals a lotta damage, I can't see them winning. Since every part is about: JoJo pursuing bad op guy
Stardust crusaders just die. They don't start out with good abilities, and they would constantly be under the effect of WOU. For part 5, it kinda depends, would diavolo even care about hiding his identity if people just die? Part 4, Kira would be unhappy, since his presence literally makes chaos everywhere and Morioh would so be a very empty town. Can't have that peaceful life, and getting hands would be a lot harder. I think he would duck up trying to get a hand, and get blasted.
@@thegamingkeyblade7066 Diavolo is too paranoid and embodies the song, "21st Century Schizoid Man" to not risk hiding his identity. Poor Doppio is even more alone, due to WOU hurting people around him. If anything, he would live in more fear of the one that finds a way to beat his stand. Risotto dies quicker than in canon btw.
I think that they'd have to pull off some funny shit with Rohan, to then get Jotaro in range. From what i can tell, calamity is one of the strongest forces in the universe, but he will likely affect stopped time after, not during because time is stopped. Method 1) I think its safe to say that somehow they bypass WOU's activation by writing specific commands to perform certain actions and making them purposefully forget and do mindless things and certain key members like Josuke and Jotaro to not remember that they're meant to kill WOU. Josuke probably wouldnt need to remember at all as his sole purpose would be to heal and aid the team, not land a killing blow like Jotaro. Method 2) starts like the one in the video, until they find WOU Jotaro stops time and launches a bunch of shit at WOU, whether it be rocks, debris, bearings, rifle bullets and kills him, just like how DIO tried to surround him with knives. I highly doubt WOU is fast enough to react to that, Method 3) Same as the one in the video, its just that jotaro gets close and kills him physically in timestop. WOU's ability will not be active in timestop, its a force of the universe, being able to stop time itself is illogical anyway, and its highly unlikely WOU can affect timestop. It'll
Im lazy to type a long comment so here’s some of my thoughts: 1) WoU control calamity a force of logic itself and can alter fate as it see fit and as we all know fate is above everything which mean it would still work in timestop 2) WoU is completely automatic therefore it doesn’t need to react to stop an pursuit and apparently it can teleport (it rarely does in the manga though) 3) Any attempt to bypass WoU ability is counted as a pursuit (even the smallest act of pursuit like asking can trigger WoU ability) so the moment Rohan open someone face to write he’ll get deja vu (referencing to Bite the dust moment).
with Heaven's door, doing that will be considered as a intent of pursuit, and we saw calamity attacks people nearby like the dude in the cell with Mamezuku also, yeah Wonder Of U could react to things being thrown, calamity goes above the principe of time and no, timestop is not illogical, it's logical, that's like saying stands aren't logical
8:40 There's no calamity during timestop and WoU doesn't have 4th dimensional powers. If he had, he would be able to react to Go Beyond as a threat. The whole concept of Go Beyond was a string that's so infinitely small that technically didn't exist in the universe. Only after timestop ends Jotaro could be attacked if he pursued WoU simply because the flow of time is halted when timestop is active. WoU is tied to things that exist in the universe and can be manipulated to produce the worst possible outcome (calamity) towards his enemies during a sequence of events (flow of time).
@@itzslopchaosz7108 It's funny, I actually created a stand called [No Doubt] specifically to be ridiculously OP. It does pretty much exactly what you said: control fate. Basically if something has a nonzero chance of happening it can make it a 100% chance. Then I realized that's _exactly_ what Yhwach does.
I can see Okuyasu accidentally killing Tohru. He thinks Tohru is his friend. He gives Tohru a home cooked bento. Okuyasu is so bad at cooking it kills Tohru. I've seen this kind of thing before in anime. If you are crazy or stupid enough you can get past intention based defenses. Maybe Tohru has an ambulance accidentally run over his head.
In the manga it said you can't pursue tooru/Wonder of U but you can be made to pursue him. So Rohan can just write on everyone "chase and beat Tooru". So since they're being "forced", calamity shouldn't affect them. And if calamity starts affecting Rohan for doing this he can just keep Josuke with him so he can heal him at all times and since Josuke isn't trying to do anything to Tooru, calamity wouldn't affect him.
Unless if it was another line that I forgot, the main line of Josuke saying "I can't pursue him, but I can be made to pursue him" was actually a mistranslation by the fan translation team which meant to read "I can't pursue him, but I can make him pursue me".
still are pursuing him, even if your forced your still going after him so death is still gonna come to kill you, only way to be safe is if you force tooru to pursue you himself, all you have to do is not do the pursuing yourself, forced or not doesn't matter, just has to be that you don't physically do it
Gotta say, love how this is like a marvel multiverse situation. As for what ifs, definitely Tooru wins in many situations. I feel like Koichi may wind up going through a stage of trauma during this point, imagine if the crew was beaten down to just Josuke, Okayasu, and Koichi, Josuke falls to Calamity, Koichi having lost most of his friends to Tooru and Wonder Of U, awakens echos act 4. Which of course who knows what It could be. That would be the make or break moment if Josuke was done for. Sure, the last few may die, but it's not for certain.
Ok but it’s based off of what words and do: 1: sound of words 2: feeling of words 3: weight of words Maybe 4 is the power of words. It’s let’s him just flat out change characteristic if they get hit by his words but like little mines
I think their best chances would be to use Heaven's door to erase Josuke's memory/will to pursuit the stand, so that he could be safer and focous on healing the wounds caused by calamity(uninvolved people still get effected, remember the dude who got his neck snapped)
Re: Heaven’s Door. There was a point in the manga fan translations where there was an incorrect translation: “ you cannot pursue him, but you can be made to pursue him” (it was supposed to be, “you cannot pursue him, but you can make him pursue you”.). It started off a discussion about how Calamity works against a) automatic Stands, like Born This Way, or Highway Star; and b) mind control Stands, like Blue Hawaii , or Heaven’s Door. I don’t know that we reached any consensus before the correction came out. My opinion is that you’d have to get to the User before the Stand gets to you. Like, Yuuya could set Highway Star to chase Tooru, and I don’t think Calamity could stop the Stand itself, only slow it down. So it would depend on which User gets hit first. Mind control is less useful, because Calamity could keep killing or injuring the controlled subjects.
Ok but even if Rohan makes WOU purse him then how will Rohan attack WOU it doesn’t mean WOU can attack when josuke finally got WOU to get close to him WOU used a rock insect on josuke and rai mamezuko
Have you considered the possibility that rohan could add notes to okuyasu that make him trail and attack tooru by "accident", and at worst deflecting all the calamity onto rohan, who would have to be defended from fate while The Hand "accidentally" kills him while doing something else.
"Rohan makes Okayasu kill people in Morioh by accident", since there is no intent, its not possible to sense a pursuit and also it being broad in a sense that they are after Tooru but all peeps in Morioh. Though thats only possible if they arent good people tho.
@@bismarckimperia8781 Rohan would be killed before he could write that since that means he is aware WoU exists, also okuyasu would die since even though he doesn't know who he is killing, the calamity will still strike him as soon as he launches an attack

the only reason the hair thing won't work for Tooru in particular is because his hair is too goofy, Josuke might actually look at him and think "you shouldn't be talking my G"
Time Stop works by bypassing the logic of the universe in a way. It works by moving faster than the speed of light, a fundamental stop sign for the universe. It could be argued that it bypasses logic. Of course, after time stop Jotaro would be marked for destruction permanently. At that point Okuyasu may be able to destroy the doctor, but if he can’t then Jotaro would be forced to eventually give in to the calamity and die.
Yes Ts does surpass logic in a way but if he stops time against tooru that’s a act of attacking/pursuing WOU which means calamity will hit jotaro before he can stop time
12:51 fight would go out like: Jotaro and crew arrives at the hospital and comes across Wonder Of U, they were screwed since there was glass everywhere and Josuke's attacks weren't enough to keep those projectiles away, in a desperate resource, Jotaro uses Star Platina The World and when he would be about to punch the enemy stand, Wonder of U would say that copypaste he said when Gappy's friend got close to him and then Jotaro would be killed by something like a scalpel and have a cut similiar to the one he got in the MIH fight...Dying.
You could always use Mr. Nijimura as a sort of test subject, he can't be physically hurt after all. Shigechi would be good to go after Wonder of U as well, just send a single Harvest bug after him so if you do get affected by calamity it isn't as effective due to colony stand rules.
I think a good ability for the gang here is the prevention of calamity on their way and in the hospital. Josuke can heal people, Jotaro had increased reaction speed with time stop, Koichi can stop flying objects in their paths, Okysasu can literally just get rid of threats right in front of him, and Rohan can altar the properties of anyone’s body. It would be a lot easier to get to the hospital with them than with anyone else.
Seeing how Arakis favorite character is Josuke, I can see the duwang game, definitely winning with very little casualties on their side. I mean Josuke didn't even lose his Jobro for his part 😂. But I do love this hypothetical
Well if Jotaro did die so WOU would lose, then that in theory would save the universe. Because if Jotaro is dead, then that means no living person has ever seen Dio's diary, meaning Pucci can never obtain Heaven, meaning he has no reason to lock Jolyne up in the prison. But unfortunately Ermes, Emporio, Anasui, and Weather Report would still be inside of the prison, and Foo Fighters would still be at the farm.
For this scenario, they could call in Hazamada and his stand Surface, as well as Old Joseph and Hermit Purple, and be somewhere isolated. Neither of them are to know what exactly they'll be doing. Once they're sure that Tohru has come for them, Joseph is to reveal his general location, while Jotaro and Josuke accompany him to protect heal their Gigi the moment Calamity strikes. Next, Surface is to change into Jotaro and move in that general direction. Jotaro will be affected by Surface and walk with it while holding a baseball. Stand Jotaro was instructed to look for someone suspicious, and stop once Tohru is in they're sights. That will be the signal for Jotaro to stop time. During stopped time, Jotaro is to use Star Platinum to throw the baseball at Tohru with all their might. Here, Calamity can do nothing to prevent Jotaro from throwing, but could potentially stop it from colliding at the very last second. It might've, had Koichi not used Echoes Act 2 to write "Boooooom" on the ball. With this, Tohru will be caught by the attack and ended. As insurance, Rohan will write that they will focus only on their task so as not to technically pursue the Doctor. Jotaro will not be killed by Calamity, but it will still have been the most hazardous fight so far.
Guys i found how would morioh gang win "Rohan types Okuyasu: Smart Jotaro: Can stop time forever Koichi:Tall Jomsuke: gets 4 balls" gg! Moroih gang wins
rohan figuring out wonder of u being activated if you want to attack tooru so they progressively find his location with near misses of attacks, building a case against tooru and heaven's door constantly re-writing in the team's memories "is not interested in finding/eliminating current enemy stand" could possibly be an interesting arc. Reminds me of majora's mask (legend of zelda) and progressing information after every time loop
Jesus christ I love the idea of "Wonder of U" being beaten due to it or Tooru insulting Josuke's hair. Like yeah that's a comedic defeat, but it's so wonderful.
I could see okuyasu pulling a fuck you at the end in a heroic moment where he erases himself, finds out where erased stuff goes and finds a way to return. Ergo not existing for a moment. Just to discover the weakness if anything. Assuming za hando works like cream with its erasing. Since they both say it goes somewhere
Blind rage is actually probable with Araki here, honestly it’s the best shot since Josuke is so powerful in “what the fuck did you say about my hair?” Mode that wonder of U probably can’t count it as a pursuit
I don’t think this would work because just by the idea of Josuke going into a blind rage it would have to abide by logic and/or reasoning into why he in that state, thus calamity ensues.
@@Hitstream305 people latch onto Wonder of U manipulating logic too much. The ability has a specific activation clause that wouldn't be triggered by Josuke's blind rage, that's just a fact. What if Okyashu's stupidity is actually an advantage? Like what if he never figures to make his goal to chase Wonder of U and therefore is one of the only people that can approach him. Also Rohan can make it impossible for each of them to want to chase him - forcing their motivation to be something else which doesn't trigger WoU

It depends if 'the task was done' is ment absolut ( as in, Okuyasus fate has t end in death permanently ) or as a one time event.
NICE! Always wondered how the other JoJo casts would try to deal with WoU. Would love to hear your thoughts on the other gangs one day! Thanks for the video :)
The moment he thinks about writing that, he gets a heart attack and dies or a bus hits him or whatever. It's not just physical attacks, the mere thought of pursuit is enough to cause calamity.
he isnt safe in time stop we know that calamity affects the user, such as when Mitsuba "accidentally" cut off her fingers, or when Josuke8 killed Rai "accidentally" your favorite time and fate stands won't work. Jotaro will "accidentally" use bad timing, GER will take a day off, and Diavolo would conveniently forget to use epitaph for a few seconds.
I wonder now what would happen in a situation of Kira and Tooru being put against eachother. Specifically, Bites the Dust. Second thing, wouldn't Josuke be a perfect counter to calamities with Crazy Diamond? He can revert things back to where they came from and repair them. So as we've seen many instances of debris and other junk getting in the way of pursuit, Josuke could just revert the calamity.
In a random addition, I think The Hand could actually destroy fate, therefore nullifying calamity. This is a wild theory but when he split red hot chilli pepper in half, which resulted in the escaping of the stand, it actually defied the fate of stand users being drawn to each other. I wonder what other times another a stand was the direct reason an enemy got away. The only example I can think of is when lil' bomber shot Risotto, allowing Dopio to escape, which is the guy who can also defy fate with king crimson. It is a bit of a coincidence not going to lie.
Okay, Okuyasu wins by being his dumb, lovable self. Rohan manages to break everything in two by making himself and his allies immune to Wonder of U’s calamities.
@@METAsMETAs ok that doesn't work. So what about this idea for a video. What if Jotaro called Josuke, Koichi, and Okuyasu to help him get Jolyne out of prison? It seems like an idea that would be cool as alot of people tend to talk about Giorno in part 6 even though Josuke would have made more sense for an appearance because Crazy Diamond isn't as OP as GER. I would also have Koichi and Okuyasu also tag along because the more help would be needed to save Jolyne. I still think Jotaro should be took out of the story like in the original timeline and Josuke and the Morioh gang would have to stay in prison to help Jolyne out. I could also see Josuke training Jolyne how to do the bullet finger flicking and a way to manipulate it with her string. And I also see Okuyasu (who would be smarter now) help to train Ermes as both were the hot heads of the group and both of their siblings died so Okuyasu would go and help Ermes to get her revenge. So do you think you could try to do that as an idea for a video?
This is a really cool video, you’re basically writing the script of how a battle would go with the purpose of making morioh boys win, so you’re trying to get fate to work one way (because it’s your story) against an ability to affect fate

Now do Wonder of U Vs. Superfly -Cannot Pursue Toru -Calamity would prevent anyone from taking Toru's Place Sure there is some question to how Toru would get trapped in Superfly but once he is it's over.
I mean, that solution is obvious. Josuke was able to piss off Wonder of U enough to get Wonder of U to pursue him so a similar trick would be done to get Wonder of U to walk into Superfly and then the person originally in Superfly leaves and since that is not pursuit that literally cannot be disallowed. Wonder of U is now trapped in Superfly.
Honestly thinking about hour Wonder of U activates in the first place it itself is vague as to what can trigger him. Rohan I’m sure could figure out every time he thinks about something he gets attacked ( I mean he figured out how to cross a town without exposing his back to anyone). From there it would be a sacrifice but I believe he could be able to give at least one person the command before Calamity would prevail and then toor gets smoked. It’s a stretch but not impossible to believe for Jojo.
Josuke(4) would awaken an ability that counters WOU because it seems that if an antagonist seems impossible to beat, the main protagonist learns about/gains an ability that counters that of the antagonist (this of course does not apply to parts 1, 2, and 6).
@@eirsh8747 Him writing immune to calamities is pretty clearly referring to tooru, unlike Kaato who intended to heal Tsurugi and she still ended up dead
She'd be sitting there minding her own business and all of a sudden see someone die from falling down the stairs. Then a few hours later she sees someone die from being hit by a random golf ball. On and on it goes, and she has no idea wtf is happening or why, she just knows she should try to help and figure it out. The last thing she does is twist her ankle and look the incorrect direction in the alley.
If Josuke never pursues Tooru he can keep healing his friends for them to noble sacrifice themselves for damage. They can pursue him freely as he can just heal them.
stand name: feel good inc. stand user: Hojishe kurashi stand ability: Fate of Me, fate of me causes the stand user to be "incredibly lucky" having all misfortune, or calamity redirected away from them, even if it has to damage the one causing the "calamity" (litteraly anti-WoU)
If Rohan can "teach" Koichi an entire language that he, himself, has previously showed no knowledge of; what's stopping him from just writing "You know WoU's ability" or something stupid like that into any of the others?
Because I think Rohan needs to be aware of the ability, like he couldn't write into anyone "you know how yoshikage kira looks like" meaning he knew italian all along like damn arivederci part 5 where he at
Highway star could be really useful as it would be the one track wonder of you and so long as the others pursue highway star the damage should be minimalised, harvest would be really good, if it wasn't for the fact that it's user is dead
Rohan would be an ultimate support player, like he could just write “I don’t want to pursue the head doctor” and immediately remove someone from calamity. Or hell he could just write “I am immune to calamity” or something like that, but that’s definitely a stretch.
As Okuyasu is casually walking towards Wonder of U and not “pursuing” Wonder of U, Okuyasu would not activate the calamity power Wonder of U has. Then, if Wonder of U does not register as an enemy, he can freely use the clunky The Hand by himself to stop collateral damage from calamity peaks and get a stray hit on Tooru.
@@iantaakalla8180 once that happens okuyasu is dead. Calamity retaliates on anything that hurts Toru/WoU, as seen with Kei getting immedately killed after accidentally hitting WoU
I wonder if Rohan could figure out some sort of loophole to wonder of u’s ability and write specific perimeters into someone. Like perceiving toru as someone else and attacking them, or making it so someone subconsciously attacks him without control of their own body
I feel like the only way to win is for tooru to die by coincidence, like okuyasu not knowing what's going on, not targeting or going after tooru, erasing him by accident it also depends whether calamity can act in an instant, or even if it would act before or right after the time stop, 'predicting' him with calamity, as it's tied to fate or having him fuck up in time stop, maybe even in an improbable way, like how the rain and a cigarette damaged gappy gravely There's just nothing that exists outside of fate and reality in jojo, unless time stop counts There is King Crimson, but that just doesn't work because, while it's outside of reality, unlike Go Beyond it can't interact with anything in reality while in its skip
Wonder of u no diffs them. Unless they have something like ger or the ability to bend and ignore the laws of the universe(which is basically the laws of physics) there is almost nothing they can do
I think echoes ability actually involve rhyming because when he used three freeze he said he rhymed three and freeze so maybe act 3 can rhyme 2 words to create new attacks

Going to state this for the record Rohans powers probably would get overruled by calamity for a number of reasons
Primarily the first being Araki has stated calamity is supposed to be one of the strongest forces in the universe therefore meaning it probably overrules a lot of things lol
Wonder of U and Tooru aren't even in the same place most of the time
Just go find Tooru and kill him
That way you're not pursuing WoU
Also, Wonder of U is just Final Destination - The Stand
Don’t forget that time does affect fate/calamity. King Crimson literally erases his bad fate and keeps result the same for others. Maid in heaven was the one who changed fate in second universe by pushing the disk of Weather Report in Emporio. The GER literally said no to Epitaph and to time erasing. I believe that stopping time changes fate to.

Here's an alternate method for taking down Toru with minimal risk to the lives of anybody:
The Morioh Warriors would most likely realise the ability of WoU activates whenever they have the intent to pursue Toru and try to come up with a plan to discover who the stand user is without ever having the intent to pursue them. Both Rohan and especially Jotaro would most likely come up with a plan similar to this:
Heaven's Door can be used to make anyone forget about anything the user desires.

Easily would get clapped. And that’s an understatement
None of the morioh warriors would even anticipate WoU’s attacks because at that time they never even experienced a stand power so universally broken. DIO/JOTARO were the two strongest stand users in jojo at that time and as we know from part 8 stopping time would most likely not fair well because it can probably just transfer a table in the way of star platinum
It cant do that in a time stop
You know, you could debate that time stopping can overcome the calamity, if he kills him during the time stop.
@@tiziochehaigiavisto3976 A time stop that has a cooldown and only lasts for 2 seconds
WoU would most certainly function in a time stop. It doesn't need objects for a calamity to happen. It would likely do something like making the opponent trip and thus waste the timestop. And when the timestop is over... So is that opponent's life. Calamity doesn't need objects to occur.
If Awakened DIO fought Johnny, DIO would've won.
Jotaro stops time and dodges only to fail to notice the cigarette butt doing literally the exact same thing
this would happen but its not because of fate.. because thats not how fate works.
its specifically stated many times to not be that deterministic unless some power makes it that way
the reason something like this would still happen is because the calamity affects people, not just objects.

I highly doubt WOU is fast enough to react to that,
Method 3) Same as the one in the video, its just that jotaro gets close and kills him physically in timestop. WOU's ability will not be active in timestop, its a force of the universe, being able to stop time itself is illogical anyway, and its highly unlikely WOU can affect timestop. It'll
Im lazy to type a long comment so here’s some of my thoughts:
1) WoU control calamity a force of logic itself and can alter fate as it see fit and as we all know fate is above everything which mean it would still work in timestop
2) WoU is completely automatic therefore it doesn’t need to react to stop an pursuit and apparently it can teleport (it rarely does in the manga though)
3) Any attempt to bypass WoU ability is counted as a pursuit (even the smallest act of pursuit like asking can trigger WoU ability) so the moment Rohan open someone face to write he’ll get deja vu (referencing to Bite the dust moment).
with Heaven's door, doing that will be considered as a intent of pursuit, and we saw calamity attacks people nearby like the dude in the cell with Mamezuku
also, yeah Wonder Of U could react to things being thrown, calamity goes above the principe of time
and no, timestop is not illogical, it's logical, that's like saying stands aren't logical

i'm just imagining okuyasu saying "if i can't come to you, i'll make you come to me" and just using the hand to pull tooru to him and finish him off
8:40 There's no calamity during timestop and WoU doesn't have 4th dimensional powers.
Probably something would already be set up by the force of calamity to stop him from killing tooru, like Pucci setting up a trap before time stop

Rohan writes smart and the hand erase calamity as a concept
Ok but it’s based off of what words and do:
1: sound of words

Maybe 4 is the power of words.
Rohan would get killed in the process then, plus the wonder of u has been seen creating copies to attack multiple people from far away
Rohan trying to use heavens dooe to counteract WoU so it will activate
"Rohan makes Okayasu kill people in Morioh by accident", since there is no intent, its not possible to sense a pursuit and also it being broad in a sense that they are after Tooru but all peeps in Morioh. Though thats only possible if they arent good people tho.

You could always use Mr. Nijimura as a sort of test subject, he can't be physically hurt after all. Shigechi would be good to go after Wonder of U as well, just send a single Harvest bug after him so if you do get affected by calamity it isn't as effective due to colony stand rules.
Since the hand works with nothingness would it act like go beyond, but maybe the ability working with a different dimension would make it something
Ok, but the opposite of this scenario where Kira faces against the part 8 Morioh gang would also be fun

@@ZAPRST8879 lol yeah.
Imagine josuke gets so mad at kira that he restores the universe to before bts happens by accident.

Blind rage is actually probable with Araki here, honestly it’s the best shot since Josuke is so powerful in “what the fuck did you say about my hair?” Mode that wonder of U probably can’t count it as a pursuit
But what would get Tooru to piss Josuke in that manner? Tooru would have to be talking and accidentally mention horrible hair
I don’t think this would work because just by the idea of Josuke going into a blind rage it would have to abide by logic and/or reasoning into why he in that state, thus calamity ensues.

Also Rohan can make it impossible for each of them to want to chase him - forcing their motivation to be something else which doesn't trigger WoU
Couldn't it be as simple as:

She tells Josuke something strange is happening
WoU's Calamity affects Josuke
Josuke figures it out
He meets Rohan
"Use Heaven's Door on my mom, there's something that happened earlier"

Maybe Rohan could write in everyone (once they find out) “The Flow of Calamity doesn’t effect ____”
The moment he thinks about writing that, he gets a heart attack and dies or a bus hits him or whatever. It's not just physical attacks, the mere thought of pursuit is enough to cause calamity.
What I'm most interested in is how the calamity would act with time stop
I mean he can’t stop time forever so my guess is that he is safe in time stop but the second he runs out of energy he is dead
he isnt safe in time stop
we know that calamity affects the user, such as when Mitsuba "accidentally" cut off her fingers, or when Josuke8 killed Rai "accidentally"
your favorite time and fate stands won't work.

Now do Wonder of U Vs. Superfly
-Cannot Pursue Toru
-Calamity would prevent anyone from taking Toru's Place
Sure there is some question to how Toru would get trapped in Superfly but once he is it's over.
Rohan writes “ I will not pursue the head doctor in everyone” and they win XD
Surprisingly enough this probably wouldn’t work Plus rohans powers are really vague
WoU will activate seeing as that counts as Pursing him and his abilities the paint will probably go trough them like the raindrops
Josuke(4) would awaken an ability that counters WOU because it seems that if an antagonist seems impossible to beat, the main protagonist learns about/gains an ability that counters that of the antagonist (this of course does not apply to parts 1, 2, and 6).

Nope
If Josuke never pursues Tooru he can keep healing his friends for them to noble sacrifice themselves for damage. They can pursue him freely as he can just heal them.
Also, as shown with his Rohan fight, he can be very single-minded.

If Rohan can "teach" Koichi an entire language that he, himself, has previously showed no knowledge of; what's stopping him from just writing "You know WoU's ability" or something stupid like that into any of the others?
