You should really research in more Kanji sense and not trust the English translation/pronunciation, "the fallen" really doesn't mean Sukuna fell off, the kanji is 墮天, "fall from heaven" which the fallen angel depiction would actually make more sense than just some rich guy who fell off. Also Uraume's kanji is 裏梅 which is obvious of the palm fruit

Holyland has to be one of the best manga that I ever read in my life due to the character and it’s amazing story and relatable story despite not being in any fights in my life. Yu is like Shinji but unlike him Yu develops into a feared and respected fighter and gained friends while Shinji keeps getting worse and worse and the people around him aren’t helping him even in the slightest. Unlike many martial arts manga which praises fighting Holyland treats fighting not for thrills but sometimes dangerous and the stress and anxiety that comes with it.

You're wrong about a lot of the mythology you use. Especially your stretch of King Enma and Shiva being connected when they absolutely aren't but I respect the effort you put into your videos.

I think it's interesting that when you take the pieces of information GeGe did give us and lay them out, it's pretty easy to draw the picture of what Sukuna's life was like from there. He was born deformed, mutated, with four arms, two mouths, and four eyes. Those kinds of deformities would lead him to be ostracized as a monster from those around him. It's easy to interpret it as a curse that punished him for consuming his twin in the womb, but you could also twist it as his twin's blessing in death to give Sukuna the strength to survive. He clearly chose to use this form he was born into to its fullest potential, but he admits he also harbors a deep and festering resentment towards humans who likely treated him like a monster, as less-than-human. You point out his aristocratic tendencies, but I have a different interpretation. He speculates he may have absorbed his twin due to their mother starving, which would not be indicative of a noble upbringing. Perhaps she was a concubine who was discarded by a noble family - like what happened to the modern Noritoshi Kamo's mother - but I believe that Sukuna was born into poverty, only to try to ingratiate himself to the nobles of the time. I believe he tried to emulate their archery and their poetry until it became ingrained in him, only to realize they would never see him as worthy. My theory is that's what led him to develop the mindset he has, that he alone can determine his worth, and that he determines that worth solely through power. Not through art, class, wealth, or through helping others, as he's rejected those along with the human beings who rejected him. I think him being an outcast also adds a lot of depth to his bond with Uraume. There's an implication there that Uraume is transgender, since the terms of her deal with Kenjaku specified she be incarnated into a woman's body. If she was biologically female in her first life, there would be no reason to specify this part; the body would become female when overwritten with her soul's information upon full incarnation. Given that, I think it's safe to say Uraume probably was an outcast for this in addition to her cursed technique's lethal properties. So I look to that as the reason why Sukuna chose Uraume to be his exception. He sees in Uraume someone gifted with incredible power who isn't valued by other people due to things about her she didn't choose to be born with - the same as himself - and so she's the one and only individual he'll permit compassion to. That's why he chose her to be the one person allowed to walk side by side with him. All theories, of course. If we do ever get some sort of follow-up that expands on their lives in the Heian Period, most or all of it may get disproven. However, I think it does go to show the series' themes that humanity and compassion endure and prevail no matter how indomitable cruelty can seem. Compassion, to see beyond oneself and extend kindness even at a personal sacrifice, is never exhausted and is the one thing that allows life to continue to exist. Whether it's a mother's love, the laws of hospitality of the ancient world, or little acts of kindness between strangers today, compassion makes the world keep turning. Even the so-called King of Curses, who believed he could divest himself of his own humanity, found compassion growing inside of him when there was a small life that needed kindness, and discovered he was the only one who would reach out his hand.
