That is one thing I love about bluey! I (14 F) absolutely love this show, I will confidently say that it is one of my favorite shows! My brother (6 M) and sister (4 F) love this show too! But they live it for the fact that it’s a cartoon show about dogs, don’t get me wrong I love that too but I also love the fact that they tackle real world issues. They are so subtle that my siblings can’t pick up on them but when they get older they will. My mother (39 F) and father (41 M) also live this show for this reason!!
i don't think Brandy hates Chilli, i think its just hard for her to visit Chilli and her family cuz its an upsetting reminder to Brandy that her sister has the one thing she wants most in the world but cant have.
That’s what I think too. I mean, maybe her just meeting baby Bluey that one time was too much for her, and then hearing that Chili was able to also have Bingo made her feel worse so she cut contact with Chili’s family because it hurt too much to see. I can’t imagine what that must feel like seeing your sibling being able to have children which is something you want more than anything in the world and you just can’t. I mean, I have no plans on being a mom but it sounds like one of the worst feelings in the world.
I will say from my mom's side that a parent dying, and their subsequent will, can cause a lot of problems for the surviving family. When my grandfather passed away, there was so much drama with the will that my mom decided she was done talking with everyone and essentially took what was left to her and moved away. So, like Bluey, I was more connected to my dad's side and didn't even know my mom's side besides my mom's younger brother and his kids as he did the same thing. A falling out because of the will is pretty realistic thing to get family to not be on speaking terms with each other.
Their mom could have been sick and Brandy took a job far away. Chilli may have felt like she was abandoning her family for money. Brandy may have felt like she would be expected to take care of everyone and was overwhelmed. Take care of dad at the farm, take care of Chilli and her emotional well being, while no one takes care of her.
I still think it was the House. Sure the cross is like, MEGA important - but I think the super expensive and OLD family home would have been a bigger "i am nOT willing to speak to you OR your kids for years" kind of rift. I imagine that Chili had the first kid, which is historically a sore spot for any sibling rivalry: younger sister has first grandbaby lol - so their mom decided that since chili has a kid with the potential for more, that she should get the house. I would be PO'D if my mother did something like that. Of course there is the farm where grandad lives, but it could be like nana and bob and be his personal retirement home.
Omg I never thought about the house being an inheritance but it makes sense. People have always commented that their house looks way too expensive for them to have afforded. And the house going to a younger sibling would definitely be a sore spot, especially if it was given to Chille bc she has kids and thus would "need" the house more. And even bigger feeling of betrayal when we also find out Brandy can't have kids. I imagine some insensitive things could have been said between all 3. But it does seem strange she waited until bluey was 2-3 before going no contact. But maybe it was just the combination of negative feelings/bad blood that finally made her distance herself.
This theory really speaks volumes on a personal level. My family has similar issues. This is why I love Bluey. It tackles real issues and it really hurts but has helped me a lot, I plan to introduce brandy into my stories. Since this is years after the show they’ve made up. But it’s gonna involve a lot of similar issues. Thank you for making all these awesome videos and theories! People like you keep the Bluey fandom United and strong! We need more interesting and positive voices :)
As some one who has an older sister I can see brandy personality being… 1. An older sister who doesn’t want to listen or take and advice from a younger sibling 2. An older sister who going smother the heck out of Chili ( some older sisters won’t accept the reality their younger sibling are grown up and might do this to show who still the alpha dog in the family) Or 3. Brandy and Chili are going to have an akward conversation that leads to and agument and thus effects Bluey and Bingo to where the two start to mimick and Chili has to be the voice or reason to stop which will lead a heart to heart with Brandy. ….. And let’s just hope Brandy isn’t some one who secretly has a crush on Bandit and cut ties because he chose Chili over her

I think it has more of a fact that chili was able to have babies and she doesn’t have her own babies. I would love to see an episode where Brandy adopts a baby. I think that would be awesome to see how the explain this to the girls.
All aside as a dad. Let's all praise the creators of bluey for having a theme song that isn't obnoxious and is honestly a little catchy. Very easy to dance to the beat, and there's only 4 lyrics in total so it doesn't get annoying after hearing it 2 times.
I bet that Brandi is a more risk taking high energy opposite to her sister Chilli who at times comes off as a more held together serious type especially when it comes to reigning in some of the more crazy antics in the show. (ie: her watch it face she does sometimes)
FACT: in an episode where bingo is sick and gets hospitalized, the family makes a video for bingo basically telling her that everyone gets sick. But let me get to the main idea of mine, the baker scene in this video bluey and socks goes to the bakery where muffin “works“ she is sturring something and when she flipped up the spoon from saying goodbye and good luck to bluey, the vase broke. And previously, chilli claims its her SPECIAL vase and led me to believe it was the special item, except i would think and most likely you would too that chilli didnt have a reaction you would except from a special item from all her past drama. Well I do like and agree with your theory, However if I could add my own The way Chili is so protective over her dad's health reminds me very much of a trauma response. I think her mom might have died from a health complication and maybe her and her sister might have disagreed on how they handled it. That's also a sadly common thing family members tend to disagree on When my stepdad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, there was a lot of discourse within the family Arguments about treatment people not visiting him enough or visiting too much people trying to control his life Trying to choose his treatments ...it was a lot I think it's something a lot of people would relate to and I think it's very likely that Chili and Brandy fell out over something like this Especially with chili mentioning that her sister made her feel "small" Perhaps when their mother was dying, Brandy used her age to undermine Chili's opinion or ideas on how to take care of their mother (As a little sister myself, I've dealt with this a lot) Now this is speculation but hear me out because I think it makes sense with how Bluey's storytelling Because we only see the one picture with Chili and her mom, I assume she most likely died when Chili was pretty young That being said I think we're the medal comes in is because with Chili likely being so young and unable to really do anything to help her mom, and her sister likely being the one in control, Chili would have felt extremely helpless and scared. I think it's likely her mom gave her the medal to help her feel brave Again I know this is speculation But as both a story writer/artist and someone who has too much experience with grief it makes the most sense to me But please let me know what you guys think

Perhaps it could be a compromised immune system that inevitably left to the death of her mother I have a compromised immune system myself And I was little I remember going to the doctor's office is for it When I found out it was hereditary Because of my parents genetics I remember being angry to them "How could they bring me into the world knowing I was going to be sick all the time?" Obviously they didn't know that they couldn't have But I was a little and I didn't understand I think this wouldn't be a great direction to go because we could not only address what happened with Chili's mom but this would be a fantastic opportunity to talk about children with health issues Because there were not a lot of shows talking about things like this when I was little The only time you saw "the sick kid" on TV when I was little they usually heavily implied that they cancer and were dying Because I was sick when I was little, no one really explained anything to me and left me to fill in the gaps myself, I always assumed that meant being sick=dying I think it's important for kids to understand not only their own health issues but the health issues of others
When my grandma made her will my mom told my grandma to leave everything to my moms older sister my aunt so there’d be no disagreements about it. My mom and aunt have had a bit of a rocky relationship in their adulthood and doesn’t want to lose her to something like what you’ve discussed. I have an older sister and I can tell my mom wants us to have a good relationship.

Brandy has been pushing everybody away. Most likely she's unable to have a baby. Was she married and did her husband leave her for this reason? If that is the case she probably has a feeling of contempt and jealousy. Hence they haven't spoken in 4 years. However Brandy is working her way through her issues and is starting to let people back in.
Yeah I definitely think this is a great theory, but the reason it was given to chilli over brandy was so it would be passed to bluey as chillies mum had already met her granddaughter- if brandy was trying for a baby around the same time that would definitely hurt a lot more as she probably would’ve liked it for her kids she was trying to have In saying that though people get replicas made to present all the time especially if you have a VC recipient in the family - usually everyone would be given a replica to pass down and it’s more about the symbolism, most of the original VCs are actually donated to the war museum in Canberra and I always wondered why - if people could see it causing family conflict would make more sense to donate the original and then get as many replicas made so everyone had one they could pass down ….
Family is one of the most important things in the world. It's very sad that Brandy wasn't a part of all the wonderful milestones Chilli had, such as marrying Bandit and giving birth to Bluey and Bingo. She wasn't able to share in the happiness Chilli experienced and Chilli's life essentially passed her by. I'm curious to know what caused such a rift between them, but more than that, I can't wait for Brandy to appear so that their family becomes more whole than it was. I'm super interested in seeing all the interactions Brandy has with Bandit, Bluey and Bingo, i.e. how the family dynamic plays out with her finally in the picture, if you'll pardon the pun!
I’m hoping we get some answers in season 3b or at least see what the dynamic is like between them all so maybe we can start filling in some of the gaps. Also, great pun!
I see this video is 6 months old but wow, my father just got back in touch with his brother who hasn't spoken to him since he was around 10, and too see this show I love truly deal with real scenarios is crazy to me, this show will forever remain one of my favorite shows no matter what.
Aussie girl margie, when I saw the plot description for onesis I was to be honest a little disappointed because it sounded like the plot would focus more bluey and bingos antics then chili and brandi reconnecting after so long. I'm hoping in the episode, we will get little hints about why chili and brandi fell out.
Yeah I feel like some episodes it might seem to focus on the kids but we do get a lot of parent interaction an insight into relationships (like squash)
I think that chile tried to have a kid for brandy ( i guess like a surogate mom) but miscarried and that left brandy destroyed so she wasn’t able to be around kids bc of the pain of never being able to be a mom
When my mom passed away suddenly, it left a hole in our family that was never filled. Our whole family dynamic changed and unfortunately never healed. In particular my younger sister and I had constant arguments and without that figure to help us, we broke our relationship and rn we have made different paths. To this day, we don’t talk to each other and has even made the decision that she doesn’t care about “burning bridges” in terms of the entire family, that she can only rely on herself. My dad has tried so hard to help but all she does is manipulate him, abuse my other sister, and ignore me completely
I have a red heeler myself which is why I started watching this show. His sibling died after their birth. This nearly made me cry, best bluey theory yet.
I really thought that brandy was upset that chilli had children instead of her because in the episode onesise when bingo was attacking her brandy looked happy but was sad when bingo got off of her..
One thing that i noticed on the episode "Onesies" is that even when Brandy is shown in the picture as the old sister but chilli is the one with "white hair" like middle aged while Brandy looks younger. I thought that it was just a trait of Chilli to have the white "freckles" but in the episode "Baby Race" at the flashbacks, Chilly AND bandid have none!

I think the reason why Brandy was upset with chilli and didn’t see her for 4 years is because maybe when they found out that brandy couldn’t have children maybe they had both wanted to have kids when they were younger and they really wanted their kids to grow up together. I think that chilli promised that she wouldn’t have kids if Brandy couldn’t but of course Chilli had 2 kids and Brandy felt really betrayed about it and was upset.
Aussie girl margie, I'm sorry for spoilers but I just wanted to share something that was said in blueys live show that I didn't quite agree with. Chili tells bluey (after bingo annoys her) that little sisters need their big sisters which may be true but big sisters also need their little sisters which made me think that while chili may have needed brandi, brandi may have needed her too.
I haven’t seen some of the episodes like the “onesie” episode, but I’ve heard a bit about it. And I think another reason they drifted apart was maybe because Chile’s sister couldn’t have kids, and she got a bit upset about that or something. But I agree about the will
From the episode Onesies, I think Brandy stayed away from Chili because Brandy can’t have a family and being around Chili and her family is too painful and a constant reminder of the family she cannot have.
Basically if anyone is confused on why brandy is sad in onesies IS BC she isn’t able to have children (babies) due to something, so that’s why brandy hasent busted child, bc it’s hard for her bc chilli was able to have Children! Hope this helped!
I had the same prediction about the Victoria cross but while watching the video I came up with another theory: Brandi has passed away in a car crash that her mum also died in, chilli and mort would have had a lot of feelings about this and maybe even trauma if they were also in the crash. As I wrote this one a theory came to mind: Brandi was learning how to drive and accidentally crashed the car, their mum had been teaching her the driving skills and in the crash the mum died. Chilli blamed Brandi for her mum’s death even though Brandi was badly injured and couldn’t control her car as the wheel was broken and the car was old. And as I was writing this one I came up with ANOTHER theory: Brandi was the one who brought their mum to a doctors appointment where the mum was diagnosed with cancer. I could go on and on with theory’s but my hand would die from typing :l

@@aussiegirlmargie I'm actually quite water slide has turned out to be a real episode, because when the video of the storyboard was first discovered on vimeo you could watch the whole episode from start to finish, in it the only characters in the episode were bingo, bandit and lila (with bandit only making brief appearances) bluey and chili were no where to be seen (minus the opening). I liked it because by having bluey absent, bingo and lila were able to have the entire focus of the episode with their playful bond.

My grandpa fell out with two of his sisters bc they didn’t go to their dad’s funeral. One we talk to but it was after the turn of the century (the funeral happened in the 70s )
Here's my prediction as to Brandy's personality, only going off of past episodes though so definitely take this with a grain of salt lol I imagine Mort as a bit of a delinquent kind of character, seen as how he's basically on the run in Grandad. I can see him being a hard-working kind of a character but I don't really get those vibes the same way I do with Chilli and vice-versa, though they can obviously both be good at having fun while being responsible if that makes sense. My guess is that Chilli is more like her mom was and Brandy is more like Mort, kind of like how Bluey is more like Bandit and Bingo is more like Chilli. I do think this could back up the alleged appearance in a future episode where she gives Bluey and Bingo onesies despite her having not seen them in what would probably be a few years, or whenever her mom would have passed, but I guess you could say similar things about Radley in Double Babysitter when he mixed up Bingo with Bluey and thought Bluey was a boy in his first appearance? I don't know, it's not a very well-formed thought. I think she could definitely be kinda like Frisky too, based off of that onesie thing. I do realize that this is not based on facts and is probably completely wrong, but that's my guess

Brandy can't have kids and Chilli can and of course since Chilli had children, but Brandy couldn't have children then Chilli got it because of the children and yes inherence like a heirloom can make people fight.
I know this isn’t really related but the will things is very real. My mom recently passed and didn’t write a will but she told us kids that she wanted to leave us everything she owned and her mom some of it as well. However my grandmother who I used to have a great relationship with has refused to give us our share so under advisement from other family members she was cut off. I hate doing this because I love her so much but money makes people do crazy things and I don’t know if I want someone like that in my life.

I think it has more of a fact that chili was able to have babies and she doesn’t have her own babies. I would love to see an episode where Brandy adopts a baby. I think that would be awesome to see how the explain this to the girls.

All aside as a dad. Let's all praise the creators of bluey for having a theme song that isn't obnoxious and is honestly a little catchy. Very easy to dance to the beat, and there's only 4 lyrics in total so it doesn't get annoying after hearing it 2 times.
I bet that Brandi is a more risk taking high energy opposite to her sister Chilli who at times comes off as a more held together serious type especially when it comes to reigning in some of the more crazy antics in the show. (ie: her watch it face she does sometimes)

FACT:
in an episode where bingo is sick and gets hospitalized, the family makes a video for bingo basically telling her that everyone gets sick. But let me get to the main idea of mine, the baker scene in this video bluey and socks goes to the bakery where muffin “works“ she is sturring something and when she flipped up the spoon from saying goodbye and good luck to bluey, the vase broke. And previously, chilli claims its her SPECIAL vase and led me to believe it was the special item, except i would think and most likely you would too that chilli didnt have a reaction you would except from a special item from all her past drama.

The way Chili is so protective over her dad's health reminds me very much of a trauma response. I think her mom might have died from a health complication and maybe her and her sister might have disagreed on how they handled it.
That's also a sadly common thing family members tend to disagree on
When my stepdad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, there was a lot of discourse within the family
Arguments about treatment people not visiting him enough or visiting too much people trying to control his life
Trying to choose his treatments
...it was a lot
I think it's something a lot of people would relate to and I think it's very likely that Chili and Brandy fell out over something like this
Especially with chili mentioning that her sister made her feel "small"
Perhaps when their mother was dying, Brandy used her age to undermine Chili's opinion or ideas on how to take care of their mother
(As a little sister myself, I've dealt with this a lot)
Now this is speculation but hear me out because I think it makes sense with how Bluey's storytelling
Because we only see the one picture with Chili and her mom, I assume she most likely died when Chili was pretty young
That being said
I think we're the medal comes in is because with Chili likely being so young and unable to really do anything to help her mom, and her sister likely being the one in control, Chili would have felt extremely helpless and scared.
I think it's likely her mom gave her the medal to help her feel brave

I know this is speculation
But as both a story writer/artist and someone who has too much experience with grief
it makes the most sense to me

Perhaps it could be a compromised immune system that inevitably left to the death of her mother

And I was little I remember going to the doctor's office is for it
When I found out it was hereditary
Because of my parents genetics
I remember being angry to them
"How could they bring me into the world knowing I was going to be sick all the time?"
Obviously they didn't know that
they couldn't have
But I was a little and I didn't understand
I think this wouldn't be a great direction to go because we could not only address what happened with Chili's mom
but this would be a fantastic opportunity to talk about children with health issues
Because there were not a lot of shows talking about things like this when I was little
The only time you saw "the sick kid" on TV when I was little they usually heavily implied that they cancer and were dying
Because I was sick when I was little, no one really explained anything to me and left me to fill in the gaps myself, I always assumed that meant being sick=dying
I think it's important for kids to understand not only their own health issues but the health issues of others
When my grandma made her will my mom told my grandma to leave everything to my moms older sister my aunt so there’d be no disagreements about it. My mom and aunt have had a bit of a rocky relationship in their adulthood and doesn’t want to lose her to something like what you’ve discussed. I have an older sister and I can tell my mom wants us to have a good relationship.

Brandy has been pushing everybody away. Most likely she's unable to have a baby.
Was she married and did her husband leave her for this reason? If that is the case she probably has a feeling of contempt and jealousy. Hence they haven't spoken in 4 years. However Brandy is working her way through her issues and is starting to let people back in.
Yeah I definitely think this is a great theory, but the reason it was given to chilli over brandy was so it would be passed to bluey as chillies mum had already met her granddaughter- if brandy was trying for a baby around the same time that would definitely hurt a lot more as she probably would’ve liked it for her kids she was trying to have
In saying that though people get replicas made to present all the time especially if you have a VC recipient in the family - usually everyone would be given a replica to pass down and it’s more about the symbolism, most of the original VCs are actually donated to the war museum in Canberra and I always wondered why - if people could see it causing family conflict would make more sense to donate the original and then get as many replicas made so everyone had one they could pass down ….
Family is one of the most important things in the world. It's very sad that Brandy wasn't a part of all the wonderful milestones Chilli had, such as marrying Bandit and giving birth to Bluey and Bingo. She wasn't able to share in the happiness Chilli experienced and Chilli's life essentially passed her by.
I'm curious to know what caused such a rift between them, but more than that, I can't wait for Brandy to appear so that their family becomes more whole than it was. I'm super interested in seeing all the interactions Brandy has with Bandit, Bluey and Bingo, i.e. how the family dynamic plays out with her finally in the picture, if you'll pardon the pun!
I’m hoping we get some answers in season 3b or at least see what the dynamic is like between them all so maybe we can start filling in some of the gaps. Also, great pun!
I see this video is 6 months old but wow, my father just got back in touch with his brother who hasn't spoken to him since he was around 10, and too see this show I love truly deal with real scenarios is crazy to me, this show will forever remain one of my favorite shows no matter what.

Aussie girl margie, when I saw the plot description for onesis I was to be honest a little disappointed because it sounded like the plot would focus more bluey and bingos antics then chili and brandi reconnecting after so long.
I'm hoping in the episode, we will get little hints about why chili and brandi fell out.
Yeah I feel like some episodes it might seem to focus on the kids but we do get a lot of parent interaction an insight into relationships (like squash)
I think that chile tried to have a kid for brandy ( i guess like a surogate mom) but miscarried and that left brandy destroyed so she wasn’t able to be around kids bc of the pain of never being able to be a mom
It seems like Chilli doesn't even consider Brandy her actual sister, because she never refers to her as Bluey's aunt while talking to her about it

When my mom passed away suddenly, it left a hole in our family that was never filled. Our whole family dynamic changed and unfortunately never healed. In particular my younger sister and I had constant arguments and without that figure to help us, we broke our relationship and rn we have made different paths. To this day, we don’t talk to each other and has even made the decision that she doesn’t care about “burning bridges” in terms of the entire family, that she can only rely on herself. My dad has tried so hard to help but all she does is manipulate him, abuse my other sister, and ignore me completely
I have a red heeler myself which is why I started watching this show. His sibling died after their birth. This nearly made me cry, best bluey theory yet.
I really thought that brandy was upset that chilli had children instead of her because in the episode onesise when bingo was attacking her brandy looked happy but was sad when bingo got off of her..
I think it can go three ways, the will, mother passing AND not having children as the cherry on top for the sister fall out for Brandy 😢
One thing that i noticed on the episode "Onesies" is that even when Brandy is shown in the picture as the old sister but chilli is the one with "white hair" like middle aged while Brandy looks younger.
I thought that it was just a trait of Chilli to have the white "freckles" but in the episode "Baby Race" at the flashbacks, Chilly AND bandid have none!
People, and dogs, age differently. Sometimes High Schoolers will start graying. Gray hairs can be caused by stress and many other things.

I think the reason why Brandy was upset with chilli and didn’t see her for 4 years is because maybe when they found out that brandy couldn’t have children maybe they had both wanted to have kids when they were younger and they really wanted their kids to grow up together. I think that chilli promised that she wouldn’t have kids if Brandy couldn’t but of course Chilli had 2 kids and Brandy felt really betrayed about it and was upset.
Aussie girl margie, I'm sorry for spoilers but I just wanted to share something that was said in blueys live show that I didn't quite agree with. Chili tells bluey (after bingo annoys her) that little sisters need their big sisters which may be true but big sisters also need their little sisters which made me think that while chili may have needed brandi, brandi may have needed her too.

From the episode Onesies, I think Brandy stayed away from Chili because Brandy can’t have a family and being around Chili and her family is too painful and a constant reminder of the family she cannot have.

Basically if anyone is confused on why brandy is sad in onesies IS BC she isn’t able to have children (babies) due to something, so that’s why brandy hasent busted child, bc it’s hard for her bc chilli was able to have Children! Hope this helped!

I had the same prediction about the Victoria cross but while watching the video I came up with another theory: Brandi has passed away in a car crash that her mum also died in, chilli and mort would have had a lot of feelings about this and maybe even trauma if they were also in the crash.
As I wrote this one a theory came to mind: Brandi was learning how to drive and accidentally crashed the car, their mum had been teaching her the driving skills and in the crash the mum died. Chilli blamed Brandi for her mum’s death even though Brandi was badly injured and couldn’t control her car as the wheel was broken and the car was old.
And as I was writing this one I came up with ANOTHER theory: Brandi was the one who brought their mum to a doctors appointment where the mum was diagnosed with cancer.
I could go on and on with theory’s but my hand would die from typing :l
This is one thing I love about bluey! I (14 F) absolutely love this show, I will confidently say that it is one of my favorite shows! My brother (6 M) and sister (4 F) love this show too! But they live it for the fact that it’s a cartoon show about dogs, don’t get me wrong I love that too but I also love the fact that they tackle real world issues. They are so subtle that my siblings can’t pick up on them but when they get older they will. My mother (39 F) and father (41 M) also love this show for this reason!!

@@aussiegirlmargie I'm actually quite water slide has turned out to be a real episode, because when the video of the storyboard was first discovered on vimeo you could watch the whole episode from start to finish, in it the only characters in the episode were bingo, bandit and lila (with bandit only making brief appearances) bluey and chili were no where to be seen (minus the opening). I liked it because by having bluey absent, bingo and lila were able to have the entire focus of the episode with their playful bond.

Here's my prediction as to Brandy's personality, only going off of past episodes though so definitely take this with a grain of salt lol
I imagine Mort as a bit of a delinquent kind of character, seen as how he's basically on the run in Grandad. I can see him being a hard-working kind of a character but I don't really get those vibes the same way I do with Chilli and vice-versa, though they can obviously both be good at having fun while being responsible if that makes sense. My guess is that Chilli is more like her mom was and Brandy is more like Mort, kind of like how Bluey is more like Bandit and Bingo is more like Chilli. I do think this could back up the alleged appearance in a future episode where she gives Bluey and Bingo onesies despite her having not seen them in what would probably be a few years, or whenever her mom would have passed, but I guess you could say similar things about Radley in Double Babysitter when he mixed up Bingo with Bluey and thought Bluey was a boy in his first appearance? I don't know, it's not a very well-formed thought. I think she could definitely be kinda like Frisky too, based off of that onesie thing.
I do realize that this is not based on facts and is probably completely wrong, but that's my guess

Brandy can't have kids and Chilli can and of course since Chilli had children, but Brandy couldn't have children then Chilli got it because of the children and yes inherence like a heirloom can make people fight.
I know this isn’t really related but the will things is very real. My mom recently passed and didn’t write a will but she told us kids that she wanted to leave us everything she owned and her mom some of it as well. However my grandmother who I used to have a great relationship with has refused to give us our share so under advisement from other family members she was cut off. I hate doing this because I love her so much but money makes people do crazy things and I don’t know if I want someone like that in my life.
