Our Scotland Road Trip || From Vanlife to testing life in a Land Rover Defender

Did someone say Scotland road trip? hmm... After spending a few months living in the Highlands of Scotland (where we didn't leave the farm for almost 2 months straight), we decided to see some of the best and best things to do in Scotland.
So we hired our dream 4WD vehicle to tackle this adventure: a classic Land Rover Defender that had been decked out into a little camper (thanks, GOYA!)
We spent 4 days exploring the Isle of Skye at the beginning of November. We chose November because of the glorious colours (get ready for some dreamy fall Scotland landscapes) and because we love the cold, but we forgot it was Scotland and it rains all the time. Thankfully, the rain held off enough for us to enjoy this Scotland road trip and explore amazing attractions like the Ferry Pools, The Storr, Talisker Waterfall and Talisker Distillery, Kilt Rock and Lochness. We also sampled our first haggis and gave a few ideas of where to eat on the Isle of Skye if you're looking for recommendations!
Unfortunately, despite 4 years of living in vehicles, there was something different about this vehicle that didn't quite work... Scotland you have captured our heart, can't wait to get back to explore the rest of Scotland.

great video guys, Skye is my happy place. If you're ever back, in season, keep going down the fairy pool road and you get to the glenbrittle campsite which is lovely and has a fantastic wee coffee shop.
