I took my good mate Ruffy and his wife Christine and as per usual, the women caught most of the fish haha.
Chris was the big winner and came out with her arms well and truly stretched.

Hey mate love the videos! Just wondering what your jigging set up is in this video, looking at starting to get into it myself and it certainly looks like a weapon of a rig cheers!

Great Vid Ryan & Karen, love all the info & tips that you share. I’ve just been working through your Sounder Skills 2 course. For slow pitch jigging, something I want to get into, is there a rough rule for weighted jig size per water depth?? I know a heap of factors are in play such as current & wind, but do you have a starting point?? For example on relatively calm day on 30m, what would you pull out first?? 45, 60g?? Cheers for any help or tips🙏👍🏼

Hi Mark, I mostly use 80 gram jigs in waters over 20 mts and up to about 50 mts depending on current. If I was going over 50 mts I would look at going up to 120 to 150. I don’t really hit that extra deep stuff over 80 mts anymore as my back plays up haha.. if you were inshore for say Fingermark I would come down to a 60 or slightly less even . Cheers

Cheers Ryan, thanks legend. I’m down at Brissie but having a week at 1770 mid year, so I can’t wait to pull out the jigs there. I will certainly give them a go on the Gold & Sunny coast this winter as well. Thanks again mate👍🏼🎣
