Man you've helped me turn my account around so much in the last year, last May I got back into RS and decided that I was going to quest so I could actually experience PVM, I would not be at my measly 306 qp if it weren't for your guides and also I gained the courage to attempt quests without a guide as much as I can and when things get too confusing for me I know I can rely on you to have a thorough guide for me to follow and get things done.
I only watch your videos for questing and have really progressed through the game. I really appreciate you putting in the time and effort to lay all the steps out in real time. Your a real one! Thanks man
When you get to the dark portal i would just get a abyssal soul fragment in your inventory and enter and leave the portal. You get 1 sec one the timer for every time u do it :) also at 52:12 I got the chat option to hatch the eggs here so i didnt have to climb up again and down. Note - Fraqsu failed about maybe 2 or 3 sec b4 the bossfight ended so thats probably why it was seen as completed. i'm not sure if my quest bugged but now i have finished it and still have 2 needle shards in my inv. Got through the boss fight with masterwork and crystal halberd food 1 inv sharks and a overload dose + 3 pray pots if that is interesting for anyone.

For the Seren fight, hug the southwestern corner. the eggs wont hit you there. You then just have to get the fire mechanic timed right and it you will easily beat Seren.
For the erebus rift puzzle, keep entering the black hole, let the timer run for a second and then exit. Do this for about 20 times, this will toggle a dialogue option with kerapac when clicked to get an extended time. Happy Scaping fam ❤

Thank you very much, very stressful with limited time. If you are stuck in the rift area, just keep teleporting out through the in game command to add 1 second, get as far as you can before resetting and get the 3 boulders onto the triangular plinth thing and you will get there eventually might take an hour or two. Good luck you will get there in the end. Just finished, currently 418 quest points. :) Straight to the point and really helpful.
*note when u dont get the chat option on dr mordaut to get the measure, go in the effigy incubator (north of loadstone) talk to vicendithas then back to dr mordaut & then you will receive the 3rd chat option!

Excellent quest guide. I found it much less frustrating than many of the others based on the comments. I found this one to be best done in pieces with lots of breaks. Oddly enough I only died once in the boss fight and like you when I came back the fight was over. I also found the puzzle was easy if you turn off sound and do exactly what Fraqsu does one venture into the portal at a time. Watch what he does, pause the guide, do that one piece, exit the portal and then watch the next. Rinse and repeat. Had the portal puzzle done in 15 to 20 minutes. Would have been days without you Fraqsu!

"remember ammo/runes" as a regular pvm'er who manages to always forget runes/arrows/ecto on the first run of an instance. thank you sincerely lmao you cant possibly understand how much time you saved me accumulatively through these quests. big W for the quest guide goat here

Doing this quest on mobile has been the most challenging thing I've ever done in RS3, especially Seren's final phase. I had to stop after getting to the second phase, do a long line of quests just so I could unlock curses (don't ask me why I waited this long to get them), then finish where I left off. It was a long journey, but this guide helped a lot, so thank you.
i figured out that everyone time you go inside the dark portal it adds 1 second of extra time so if you just keep going in and leaving and repeating that you can add as much time as you want :)
@@Fraqsu The final fight left me a little confused since I've seen a few people do it, seem to take 2500-2700 damage hits. I think I semi-cheesed it from using 5/5 cryptbloom with animate dead, average hits were in the 1200s from the mechanics. I'm not sure if they hotfixed it or if the gear is what did it. It's a weight off my shoulders either way, your guide was a huge help thanks!

Thank You !!!! Public service. For the extremely stressful puzzle. Do your self a favor talk to karapac tell him to to toggle extra time after 20 failed attempts. Then enter the black hole and press the exit button This will add one second to your timer each time you do it. I got my timer up to 3 minutes and 30 second then did the puzzle. In the final fight stay in the south west corner in the last phase of the fight when the spheres are exploding they won't hit you there. MAKE SURE to keep out of the pink smoke !!! dodge it as fast as you can. Key bind your best food on you action bar and spam click it when u lose health. Bring a sign of life or defense cape. Also a pack yak or a storage familiar with extra food.
Struggling to get through this and the instructor gets by on a technicality.... Edit: Beat this right after posting. For the eggs there is a safe spot in the South-east corner. Once the NPC's spawn start moving again. Used: unicorn with scrolls, Enhanced Excalibur, sharks and ignoring the NPC's

Solution to the Erebus boulder puzzle: Three types of wisps: Levitating - moves boulders Rift - lets you use the portals Mote - improves your run speed and instance timer Your first couple of trips, just spend time collecting the mining rocks and the motes. You will use the NE and S portals to enter little island areas to pick up more rocks and motes to improve run speed and instance time overall. Once you've collected everything from the starting area and NE and S portals... Trip 1: Collect Levitating -> Move boulder -> Collect Rift -> Exit Trip 2: Collect Levitating -> Exit ... you now have 1 Rift and 1 Levitating in your inventory. Trip 3: Use West Portal -> Move 1st Boulder to Lodestone -> Run back to Portal and Zone -> Collect Levitating -> Zone -> Move 2nd Boulder to Lodestone -> Collect Rift underneath it -> Run to last Portal and Zone -> Collect wisps inside -> Zone -> Move 3rd Boulder to Lodestone -> Zone into the lodestone!!! -> Exit ... you should have all 3 circles covered now and have completed unlocking the lodestone. Trip 4: Repeat Trips 1 and 2 so you have 1 Rift and 1 Levitating in your inventory -> Exit Trip 5: In this next part you'll need to carry the Levitating from the first room, the Rift from under the 2nd boulder, zone through the lodestone and collect two more unique objects from this new area alongside motes and mining rocks scattered throughout to reach 100% attunement. At the very end you activate an idol and you're all done.
For the relic of the titan part, after 20 or so attempts you get 1 second more each time you head in and then out of the portal. I just spammed the enter portal/exit portal for a while until I got 1:45 and was able to do it just fine. You don't need the whole timer to expire to get 1 more second each time. Just spam enter/exit until you have about 1:45 and you should be good to go.
Relic of the titans (walk through) time stamp - 45:21 (6/9) 1. teleport abyssal (inventory) open portal, return. 2. take: telekenetic teleport go back throught the same portal. 3. move boulder to O symbol 4. return through portal (start location) 4.1 grab 2nd telekenetic 4.2 return to start location 4.3 go to the opened portal for 2nd boulder 5. grab abyssal sole revnant. 5.1 go east and opened that portal 5.2 grab the telekenetic 5.3 return through portal and go south to move the 2nd boulder to remaining spot. 6. go west and stand on symbol. Grab the stuff.
One tip I didn’t see you mention is bonfire in wars retreat, it won’t be much of a boost but every little bit helps and the elite version of enhanced Excalibur for 40%

when he has a 1:40 starting time in the puzzles, I only have 1:15 yet we're both at 60%. i dont have time to finish the steps that he does. any idea why?
Thank you for this video. Not sure how I would have finished the boss fight without a combo of this video and the wiki. It helps to wear magic tank armor for the last fight. Used my new cryptbloom just for this. Maybe a waste, but I finished. Thanks again.

Yep there's a "read pinned comment" in the title and the info can be found from that pinned comment. I did this on release by using only quest log because the quest hadn't been documented yet in any way.
anyone doing the quest in 2024, quick tip. You can't get the measure right away so ignore the video or skip to until 24:00 . You have to talk to Vicendithas first, He'll ask you to fetch the measure. Than you can go back in the video to 23:05 and follow the guide from there. Hopefully this helps anyone who needs the measure and is confused, also when talking to Mordaut just select the "Extinction" Quest option and that's it
At 20 min in the video , if you dont have done the fate of the gods quest , you have to go see Vincendithas(anacronia) in orther that mordaut give the measure , he wont give it until you go talk to him
WHO THOSE WHO CAN'T RE-OBTAINED THE MEASURE: You can only obtained the Measure after you talking to this npc 24:45, firstly he will tell you where u can re-obtained it. Now the chat option is visible, not before.

Been trying to do the quest but stuck with the boulder/portal first part. From the walkthrough videos, I can see that people have 1m43s to place the 3 boulders but I only have 1m28s and run out of time all the time. This is pretty frustrating and have no idea where to get help to figure what I am doing wrong 😞
The game adds time to your counter after 20+ attempts. Each time you enter and exit the dark portal gains you an additional second on your timer. I think you need about 1:40 to do it properly

Pls for everone crying doing this Black Hole part. 45:00 ish. just take 5min for -> Enter - Leave - Enter - Leave etc.. Farm seconds for your mental health.. the rest of the Black Hole experience will be ez after you farmed a good amound of time..
a Tip for you guys out there, if you survive long enough, tele or die, next time u get there, u get the "third" part of the boss done.. thats why it got done for you btw :)

very good sir, this way much easier using necromancy tank and darkness. Do the quest hardcores. I used t90 necro tank, easy to get.

when he has a 1:40 starting time in the puzzles, I only have 1:15 yet we're both at 60%. i dont have time to finish the steps that he does. any idea why?
Such a STUPID puzzle. Anyone completing the portal puzzle now must fail 20 times before being allowed extra time.
Thank you for this video. Not sure how I would have finished the boss fight without a combo of this video and the wiki. It helps to wear magic tank armor for the last fight. Used my new cryptbloom just for this. Maybe a waste, but I finished. Thanks again.

love how i wasted an hour trying to google how to proceed just tp find out that i have to talk to him first then go back to get the measure....probably an important thing to have in a quest guide.
Yep there's a "read pinned comment" in the title and the info can be found from that pinned comment. I did this on release by using only quest log because the quest hadn't been documented yet in any way.

anyone doing the quest in 2024, quick tip. You can't get the measure right away so ignore the video or skip to until 24:00 . You have to talk to Vicendithas first, He'll ask you to fetch the measure. Than you can go back in the video to 23:05 and follow the guide from there. Hopefully this helps anyone who needs the measure and is confused, also when talking to Mordaut just select the "Extinction" Quest option and that's it
At 20 min in the video , if you dont have done the fate of the gods quest , you have to go see Vincendithas(anacronia) in orther that mordaut give the measure , he wont give it until you go talk to him

WHO THOSE WHO CAN'T RE-OBTAINED THE MEASURE: You can only obtained the Measure after you talking to this npc 24:45, firstly he will tell you where u can re-obtained it. Now the chat option is visible, not before.

Been trying to do the quest but stuck with the boulder/portal first part.
From the walkthrough videos, I can see that people have 1m43s to place the 3 boulders but I only have 1m28s and run out of time all the time.
This is pretty frustrating and have no idea where to get help to figure what I am doing wrong 😞
The game adds time to your counter after 20+ attempts. Each time you enter and exit the dark portal gains you an additional second on your timer. I think you need about 1:40 to do it properly
Hey! Big fan! Just curious, do you not have guides for Desperate Times or Desperate Measures? Working my way up to this quest and I exclusively use your guides so was just checking
They're pretty hard to make a good guide for, so I can't make any promises when I'll get them out but yeah they're a priority atm

Pls for everone crying doing this Black Hole part. 45:00 ish. just take 5min for -> Enter - Leave - Enter - Leave etc.. Farm seconds for your mental health.. the rest of the Black Hole experience will be ez after you farmed a good amound of time..
