I love Twig & Tale patterns. Practical, creative, sustainable. They encourage you to use clothes and remake them into something else. I purchased their vest patterns and a coat pattern.
Thank you. I'm excited that I'm testing one of their patterns.
Love these colors on you Sam. I’m really enjoying your videos. 😎🇦🇺
Thank you
I definitely DO love a good sleeve. Been changing up sleeves for years 🥰🦩🥰🦩
Thank you xx
You look spectacular in your outfit!
Thank you
I’ve made a Twig and Tale kids dress and I love that they have lots of add ons to adapt it.
Totally agree
Fabulous outfit, Sam. I mostly use my overlocker to finish edges, so use 3 threads. If I use it to do seams, I use 4 threads. I haven't done anything more exciting on it yet.
Let's hope together we can. I've started learning my next thing x
All the sleeves please! I downloaded the Romy lantern sleeve top as I wanted to switch up my TNT shirt pattern (Liesl and Co Classic Shirt) with a new sleeve shape. I was prepared for a fair bit of pattern alteration, but the sleeve head fitted perfectly with no changes. Thanks Sam!
You look absolutely beautiful in your burgundy outfit! The pleated skirt was a technique I learned as a child; yes I’m that old! Love the viscose top you made as well. Funny thing, I’m taking an online course in using my serger! So far I’ve not learned anything new, but there are promised techniques and tips that I’m looking forward to. I’m going to make a better than usual effort to clean my craft/sewing room this week. It’s a disaster! Have a fantastic weekend!
Thank you so much x
Hi Sam! Happy belated birthday if it's belated!❤🎉❤
You're so right, once a teacher always a teacher!😅 I like your bingo board. Is that your make nine board? I am doing make nine this year!😅
Thank you. I've got a separate make 9 but I'm adding small steps from my make 9 to my weekly bingo x
I love the bingo card idea, may have to try that myself :) and thank you for the overlocker tips :)
Thank you
Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Thank you
Oh, Sam! How wonderful it will be to receive a package of joy all of the way from your sewing space to mine ☺️. I live in America and am thrilled that someone in the UK will also be hearing from you. Thank you so much. 💕
Love the top you're wearing and the new top you made. Congratulations Brenda.
Thank you xx
Thank you so much 💕
Great video lots of fun I totally understand with the overlocker great outfit live the colours have a wonderful week 😊😊😊
Thank you
I just love your energy and enthusiasm in your videos. Oh I love those boots too! Such great content, I enjoy watching each one.
Thank you
You look amazing. I love the fabric for the blouse you are working on. As always, I enjoyed your video.
Thank you
Your burgundy outfit is stunning Sam 😍 Have you watched Alisons vlog on gathering with the overlocker? I may just have to make something with ruffles to give it a go 😂.
I haven't but I've done it before on mine last year and did talk about it then but I will share again. I have specific foot it is brilliant.
@ that would be great, thanks ☺️
Great tips for the overlocker thank you.
No problem!
Sam, I really appreciate the information you shared about the overlooked parts.Your concise view and explanation are outstanding. Also love. Your deep dives, I am going to do the same to consolidate my knowledge and skills. Sending sunshine, Bernadette in Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you that is great to hear x
Love your videos❤ 🇨🇦
Thank you so much
Hope you had a great birthday. Just found out you can gather on your overlocker, game changer.
I love that as I've had my foot for mine x
The finish on Twig and Tale facing is fascinating ( must investigate)...interesting content again thank you !😁
Definitely worth an investigate xx
Thanks Sam I have a Janome but mine is a five thread and it just confuses me but I only ever use 3 or 4 threads like you it’s just trial and error but your breakdown really helped
Ooh 5 threads I'll be looking that up.
Beautiful outfit, Sam. You really suit those colours. The only thing I do on my overlocker is finish seams. But I've been watching Sew Like Dotty and her posts on the overlocker so I'm going to experiment with gathering.😍
I've done gathering before I have the specific foot. It is fun x
I'm making a pair of Hudson Pants this weekend. My 5th pair. The only thing in use my sewing machine for with those pattern is the pocket detail. Everything else-the legs, ankle cuffs, waistband, are all done solely with the overlocker.
What a pretty outfit you are wearing!
Thank you
THE little Fabric Shop Smarden should have said xxx
Thank you
Hi Sam, great vlog as always. Love you top, the colour really suits you. I would love to know where you got it from. x
Hi if you mean the fabric as I mention in the vlog it was bought years ago as a remnant, sorry.

Thank you
