well that makes more sense then i wanted to admit, When i lleft the uk in 2014 radio one had hit the bottom. it was no longer the champion of shows world wide and started gimping itself incase anyone over 13 (*or whatever there silly aim is now) listened to there station. Its a shame as he came across as a decent human on one show but clearly hes a souless prick with no backbone whats so ever.
Really touching...big loss and a huge part of my life/mornings. From getting up for exam revision or listening to the podcast later on in the day, there is no doubt that this man and his team have played a huge part in my life. I will miss them when they leave.

Its shows like his and some of the other great legends that make you happy, I love entertaining radio and its people like Chris that have helped shaped my own radio show. Well I must add my little bit to the story, from me when I had the radio in the van locked on to Chris and then there you were on day I was fixing a broken lorry down from your pad in Camden and just smiled as you walked on past that made my day .
ive listened to this since the show started, i watched every hour of the children in need 3 day show, donated several times, this show cheered me up in the mornings, i will miss the breakfast team but i will give the new guys a listen when they start, thanks chris.

Just unfair I started listening to radio 1 because of Chris Moyles. He has done so many selfless sacrifices in the name of charity, I bet you somewhere is this world some one is still alive or has a better life condition because of Chris Moyles . So any one that disses or says bad bunter about him has no respect for human life. He is one one of the most funniest and down to earth guys I have ever known and also a beautiful man too. He should go for president after this, I kid you not.

Thankyou Chris and Dave, Dom and Tina, Aled and Freya and everybody involved with the current show. Plus the old team member's like producer greyhead, Mel, Carrie etc... You all kept me listening to Radio 1 when the playlist was telling me to leave a long time ago.
Fair enough it's just not been mentioned as that once on the radio. Even if they can't advertise it, they could still say he has "other work." I think he just enjoys the public having a go at the management over it tbh

I've always liked Chris Moyles and found him funny. To his quiz night show which I find hilarious and the odd tune in I used to do on a morning he's a quality guy. Hope he starts doing more of his quiz nights, a good laugh for everyone

Actually makes me teary listening to this. So gutted he is gone. You may of loved him may of hated him but you can't deny that Chris Moyles was one of the greatest DJ's ever. No one will come close anytime soon. Seems Radio 1 are more concerned with the age of the listener then the amount. Look forward to listeners figures coming out to see how many they have lost since his departure. RIP the breakfast show.
I never got Chris Moyles show whatsoever - in fact I had to plough through all the videos here just to be absolutely sure I had no regrets that his show is over and I haven't.Most people live dull,tedious and uneventful lives - if people enjoy listening to him talk about primarily himself for 5 days for almost 2 decades cheers them up then fair enough.
