      @@PepeTheFren Not only that, its got 500+ miles and the Prime has 990. So close to 1000 miles on it. Mind you more than half of those miles has been wheelies lmao. I’ve replaced 3 back tires, one front tire, and a set of rear brake pads on the Prime, thats it! The Revenant is still stock and doing amazing. (My gf rides it mostly so the tires still have tons of tread)
      The Revenant has a way faster acceleration than Prime and the power delivery is so smooth with the hub motor. (Plus its more reliable than mid drive so it feels more foolproof) The suspension feels so good going over bumps and trust me get the upgraded Shimano brakes. 100% worth.
      Don’t get me wrong the Prime is sick with the mid drive, but I cant just let anyone hop on and ride if they don’t know how to shift properly. You just have to ride it right and not go full throttle while shifting. Other than that its badass and goes WAY faster. I’ve gone 50mph downhill with a tail wind on it.
      Sorry to hype it up so much but as a rider for over 20 years, these things are pieces of art let alone badass bikes!
      Also check out the Mega! Its their newest bike and should be like the prime and Revenant had a baby, I should be reviewing it very soon👀

Got a month or two for manufacturing and shipping to happen so anymore videos or accessories/upgrade suggestions are appreciated. So far I'm looking at mud guards and comfortable grips for a mix of street and dirt. Already ordered one up pedals and a detachable front light. Enjoying the close ups in this video as it helps me see what is on the bike and how accessories will or won't fit. Great review!!! I like the blue color awesome!! Your enthusiasm is priceless and refreshing to see in this day n age where ever one is always angry. Thumbs up for that. I have a 500w hub 36v Ebike and I was riding similar trails as you this Fall here in NYC. But my bike has been customized by me, I added a rear rack with an additional 20AH battery and a bunch of other upgrades like front suspension fork headlights brake lights , even signals and dual Blue tooth speakers. It’s a cruiser for sure but I’m light guy and I can go up almost any trail using PAS and putting my mind to it. My bike is a beast though it tops the scales at about 92 lbs!! Has a 80-100+ mile range with some pedaling but if you keep it in PAS 4 you can go about 18-20 mph without killing your self and still have total range of 80-85 miles. I had a blast on the trails in one Park in Oct like you doing some jumps and stuff but I’m 57. Lolololol still a kid inside and am very in shape. Thanks for the great video/review. You guys Rock!!!!!!

  • @toddbyers58
    @toddbyers58 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice Review! How the heck are you pulling this up in a wheelie though? I'm in sport mode level 5 and still way hard to pull up a wheelie. Is there a setting to give it more power? Do you have a special technique? Certain speed or pedaling to get it up initially? I've tried the pedaling approach but the delay in motor reaction throws me over when it kicks in (maybe I need to keep practicing, lol). I do have the torque sensor upgrade but still power delay when pedaling. I'm a hang glider pilot, vert skateboarder, ride motorcycles, action sport junkie, etc. so I'm not new to doing wheelies. I also have rode mid drive bikes and can wheelie just fine but not on this hub drive bike. I just noticed that your display utilizes the full 1500 Watts on the display (red graph) and mine never goes that high (maybe I need to try from fresh charge).

    • @PoeBoys
      @PoeBoys  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You really gotta yank that thing like you are going to loop it and catch yourself with the rear brake before you do loop🤣😅
      First, raise your seat even to the handlebars.
      Watch in the videos for a real scenario but I basically stand, preload the suspension and lean back, yank tf out of the handlebars, and get it to rest at balance point, and its all rear brake and balancing from there. I usually keep it at full throttle the whole time too.

    • @toddbyers58
      @toddbyers58 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PoeBoys Thanks for the info! I also found that pressing full throttle with brake on before trying to pop it up works good. As soon as you let off the break, up you go. Works at different speeds too. The motor builds up force (I think the electronics recognize the resistance and applies more power or something). One thing to note that you are probably aware of, the throttle will override the peddling torque sensor allowing you to pedal to assist in pulling it up without that delay and kick-in that would normally throw you over. I'm still working on maintaining the wheelie. I'll try keeping full throttle and using brake like you suggested. I've been adjusting the throttle and break while in the wheelie. Fun fun!!

      I am debating the same thing. Would you ever pedal a Sur Ron? This bike is more for somone who wants a quality mountain bike they would pedal and crank thru trails and have a quality suspension too. A Sur ron has pedals mostly to ward off getting harrassed when on a bike trail. Most people couldn't pedal a mile on a 120 pound one speed bike. They have sold about 70,000 Surrons worldwide. Lots of aftermarket parts if you like to upgrade. I like range and who knows how much an extra battery is for this bike. If you want a quality bike to race thr trails this is likely the best choice. If you want mostly bike trail ridingon the highway the Surron would work with a pedal kit. Most areas 20 mph is max allowed without getting harassed. I like high speeds. Most quality mountain bikes max out around 20mph.

      @@supercharged2414 there are 3 ebikes on the top for price and overall performance. its nireeka revenant, surron and ariel rider xclass. if u don't care for pedals, don't care about lifting the ebike don't care about weird look from karens want the best off-road performance for the price. Surron without a doubt wins. If u don't care for off-road and and want something fast with big potential to go faster in the future with aftermarket support / upgrades and don't want to spend $2500+ on a bike can carry 2 people and has a bike rack, the X Class wins. If u live on the 2nd+ floor or higher want to keep up with side street traffic, go offroad every now and again don't care about mods or upgrading in the future, want to pedal and love pedaling. The Nireeka wins. tbh I think the nireeka wins overall as a do everything bike because of pedals, weight, 3" tires, least to be bothered by karens and speed even tho it has the lowest top speed.
