The year on the base just means they didnt change the inscription on the stand mold. Not a big deal, that happens all the times on reissued or re-used stands.

Not only is the figure a floppy mess, I can’t get over the fact that his torso is so open. His internals were nowhere near that exposed in any media, his head looks like it’s to high and his chest panels are way to small and far out. Sideshow really dropped the ball on this figure. For the price it’s being sold for, all issues should have been addressed. For this day and age for 1:6 figures, this figure is 100% unacceptable.
Sideshow make terrible figures, the quality of their figures have always been poor, they are trying to be like Hot Toys and are not at the same level and charging Hot Toys prices.
This was meant to save Sideshow and that should have been the case, however, a lot will return and on top of "The company we cannot name fiasco" when they tried shutting HK down, this could come back on them big time! I will be keeping mine when it arrives as I cannot see HT's making one for years, to wrapped up in Mando heaven, making Blurrgs! lol
I got mine in today and honestly I really love it. Is it fragile and hard to pose and poor quality but I love it. It just looks so damn good, I will find my forever pose and literally never touch him again. He’s basically a statue but it’ll hold me over until HTs comes they one day

I feel over time this will break and you won’t be able to do much with it. Fingers crossed Hot Toys will try to do this one and figure out the proper engineering for this iconic character. This is like a re-issue from 2014 with a new cape and minus the extra face plate. Wish they would have just said that instead of trying to mislead collectors into thinking they improved it from back then. Congrats on 5k! This is almost 300 bucks and this is the garbage they treat collectors with. Sad really. Missed opportunity on their part and hopefully Hottoys makes one. All hottoys droids are sub 300 and have diecast in them and as for quality we all know its night and day🙌. Garbage bin with this figure 🙌

What a complete "car crash" of a figure.Shiteshow should be ashamed of themselves for blatantly lying to collectors telling us that the figure has been improved when clearly it has not.
To get better products, we need to demand a higher standard. To say "I can fix this" to a 285 USD figure is ridiculous. People spoke out with the Mark 85 sculpt. A lot of youtubers didn't. I cannot remember your comment, but I remember Jedha saying it was stupid complaining and the sculpt was fine. If this is the attiude (not just to collecting, but to life) people will treat you with no respect. I'm not saying complain all the time, but when somebody is walking all over you, you tell them to stop. Like when Hot Toys gave us the horror Antman sculpt and then the Mark 85 sculpt. This is Sideshow shitting all over the collectors. The FOMO is runing rampant in the community which is why most collectors bend over and just take it, instead of standing up to companies giving us turds like this. Danoby2 didn't bend over. 6 out of 10 score for a 285 USD figure that cannot hold it's own arms up. Jesus, man. I hope other collectors will be braver so we can avoid figures like this in the future.

When I mentioned "I can fix this" - I meant that I wanted to fix it because I will keep the figure (it is my personal choice). In regards to the MK85 headsculpt, I always said that it didn't look bad in person and I personally will keep it (which I did) - and people who followed me since the beginning knows that I don't change my comments or opinions because of other people :) - lastly in regards to my score, it is my personal score and by all means you or anyone can disagree. For the record, this is the lowest score I gave to any figure and despite the common issues with the articulation and joints, the figure itself is not bad looking at all - So I needed to take that into account as well. I try to be as fair as possible when reviewing my figures and show you as much as I can so you (the viewer) can be informed before making any purchase. I always like to keep it positive (despite the negatives) because at the end of the day, this is a hobby and if we are collecting these figures is because we love to do it. There is enough drama in the world to bring THAT into the hobby :)
