- Home of Edsel & Eleanor Ford in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI., outside Detroit. Edsel died in 1943, but Eleanor continued to reside in the house until her death in 1976. A few years later, it was opened up to the public. Their 4 kids (Henry II, William, Benson, and Josephine) were raised here.
