Just like he says in the current vs comic. They need a round 3!
I think the title of that comic is "Nothing Can Stop the Juggernaut". Fantastic story that showcases Peter's sheer willpower. He does try going toe to toe at first, but quickly realizes that Juggernaut is on a whole different level. The Hulk was more responsive to being punched by Spider-Man than Juggernaut was. There was a sorta sequel called "Something Can Stop the Juggernaut" some time ago, but it wasn't really a fight between Juggy and Spidey.

What are you talking about? It was established during his second fight with Sandman that Peter resorts to telling jokes like that to cover his fear. It's a defense mechanism. However, he noted that the more he did it, the more reckless Sandman got, allowing him the chance to reach a gigantic industrial fan and blow Sandy away...which is slightly less embarrassing than how he beat Sandman the first time. You know, sucking him up with a vacuum cleaner. Or when the Sinister Six first formed and Spider-Man won because Sandman's plan was to trap himself and Spider-Man in a small metal box...forgetting that even a living mass of sand needs to breathe. Spidey didn't even realize what the problem was at first as Sandman collapsed.
7:54 I would love to see the rage aspect of The Crimson Gem used a bit more. Juggernaut’s run was pretty good. It would be cool to see Dr. Strange pull Juggernaut & and few other character for an adventure meant to expand on the lore.
I'm no comic expert but I heard that it requires the Juggernaut to cause destruction in order to maintain his powers. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong with that.
Something like that, yes. Cyttorak wants violence and bloodshed done in his name. However, Cyttorak liked that Colossus fought so much due to his life as a super hero, so he was willing to keep empowering him, despite Colossus resisting his more violent urges. It's actually how Colossus got the power in the first place. Juggernaut had become one of "The Worthy", a group of villains being controlled by magic Norse hammers. Cyttorak was loving it until the X-Men pointed out that Juggernaut's actions were being done in the name of a different deity. That pissed him off, so he decided to empower one of the X-Men to fight him.
Colossus is my favorite childhood character & Juggernaut was the ultimate villian. In the comics vs the X-Men by far my favorite comics were Juggernaut vs X-Men. Colossus Juggernaut power would is wild looks really cool. Poor Spidey never stood a chance regular Juggernaut would eat his lunch. A 3times power Spidey could only hope to survive or distract him from his goal. That's pretty all the entire X-Men team could do distract & survive. My favorite cover is Juggernaut standing on a pile of X-Men holding Colossus up by his throat.
Colossunant: "Do you know who I am arachnid?" Spider-Man: "Eh, a metal man going for the S&M look? No wait I got it, Chrome Steel." Colossunant: "I'M THE UNSTOPPABLE COLOSSUNANT (BLEEP) TAVARES!!" Jokes aside though Rob is right about one thing that when it comes to this battle between Spider-Man and Colossus Spidey doesn't really have much of a chance against Colossus in the state he is in. However if there is one thing I've learned about the Webhead is that he can be just as clever if not more so close to Batman's intelligence. Now if Marvel really wanted to show how clever Spider-Man can really be he can easily use his web cartridges stick it into Colossus his mouth and the web cartridge will explode inside of him and basically cut off his ability to breathe. Another ability of Spider-Man's intelligence is that he can easily figure out that if he can't out muscle his opponent then he'll think him.
Spider-man has said before that he started cracking wise to cope with fear. Hes terrified, and the more dangerous the opponent, the more he jokes. Now he still does that, but its also domething he does to make his fies unstable.
Also, when he's enraged, Spider-Man tends to go silent. So it's when Spider-Man shuts up that his opponent needs to be concerned. I'm reminded of a time when Spider-Man thought Deadpool had killed the owner of a laundromat. He didn't say a word as he pounded Deadpool's face in. Shattering ribs and whatnot. Deadpool was letting out a "Hhhhh" the entire time that blossomed into a "Hhhholy SHIT, you're fast!"
Interesting that the TH-cam channel "Enchanting Narratives" is using the same thumbnail on their AVX: Colossus Vs Spider-Man video that came out a day ago. I literally clicked on it because I thought that it was this one. Funny that it's their only long form video too with no other AVX titles leading up to this fight.
It's like that time when a Phoenix empowered Colossus hit Spiderman's head between his hands. His head should have burst like a watermelon, but instead he just gets a really bad concussion. Plot armor
No offense, love your channel, but didnt you cover all of this already, Rob? What happened to the Jonathon Kent in the Injustice universe story? Also, check out the Witching Hour Wonder Woman story! It's bonkers, I would love for you to cover it sometime. Peace.
If Spider Man returns to this fight with an armor upgrade like a carnage/venom symbiote, or a modified iron spider, he'd win. Normal spidey would get worn out by Juggy Colossus because the stone controls his endurance.

Man this is awesome man
7:54 I would love to see the rage aspect of The Crimson Gem used a bit more. Juggernaut’s run was pretty good. It would be cool to see Dr. Strange pull Juggernaut & and few other character for an adventure meant to expand on the lore.
Part of the reason spidey cracks jokes is because when he stops he is a true menace.
Spiderman cracking jokes came to a dead stop when Peter crossed Carnage again.
No quips with the crazy.
I love how Daredevil jumps in out of nowhere and is just like "Hope's not here. Let's go." to Spiderman. It reminds of Bats. I love these characters!
I always love the "AvX Fun Fact" that are shown in some panels. It's like the writers like to insert some of their jokes.
We need a "Friendly neighborhood juggernaut" run 👀
X-men do enough collateral damage that Cytorak felt he was getting a good avatar lolz. I mean Pete did destroy Breakworld ;-)
I knew he enhanced his webbing in the 90’s animated series when he was fighting with Kraven the hunter
Beyond Omega Level: Kulan Gath!👿
"Hammer for you, hammer for you, EVERYBODY GETS A HAMMER"
- oprah probably
Man I wish they would bring back Unstoppable Colossus!
I'm waiting on that new element Tony Stark is going around testing
"Not like this. Not like this."
Could you cover issues 2 and 3 for marvel zombies black white and blood please issue 4 comes out on the 3rd
First of all
Collosus flexibility on the splash page!
According to Rob and his last Captain America V Gambit video, “wrecked” means “punched once”.
“Colossus wrecks Spider-Man”
Excuse me… he does WHAT now???
Love the avenger vs X-men series
Plot Twist - two buildings down a vat of Marshmallow was left behind 😂
Colossus wearing a jaguarnaught helmet.
You should change your name to Marvel explained
Colossunant: "Do you know who I am arachnid?"
Spider-Man: "Eh, a metal man going for the S&M look? No wait I got it, Chrome Steel."
Colossunant: "I'M THE UNSTOPPABLE COLOSSUNANT (BLEEP) TAVARES!!"
Jokes aside though Rob is right about one thing that when it comes to this battle between Spider-Man and Colossus Spidey doesn't really have much of a chance against Colossus in the state he is in.
We are told Spidey wears the mask so villains dont see how scared he is, I think that’s part of why the wisecracks, he’s terrified.
With that line falling into concrete it's a refance of spider vs juggernaut in the 80s? 90s? Where juggernaut tries and fails to kidnap madum web .
1982. The issue was titled "Nothing Can Stop the Juggernaut".
"Spidey" still punched the "Hulk" into orbit....My Moneys on him.
He had uni power in that instance.
Hope you had a great Christmas Rob! Have a great day everyone
That line up isn't even fair.
Classic Colossus would've kicked his ass too
This is about as fair as a chocolate fireguard vs a volcano
Spiderman probably could've stopped Colossus, but he's unstoppable, so...
Those last panels were pure spiderman. With great power comes great responsibility but where we can, let's end on a joke.
Have you covered fear itself? Would love to hear you cover it I missed so much of that when it was out and pieced things together through heroclix
Deadpool was letting out a "Hhhhh" the entire time that blossomed into a "Hhhholy SHIT, you're fast!"
it'd be cool if you cover the daredevil vs psylocke fight
"No way is Marvel telling a story where the face of the company gets absolutely crushed by any other guy out there."
Meanwhile, Paul.
Just once i want a story where Cyttorak says suck it im the most powerful dark magic guy and unleashes hell
UNSTOPPABLE COLOSSUS v THE THING ROB!
that juggernaut 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would have loved to see spider man cut loose one time
Unstoppable colossus & (Vox ignis) Juggernaut...have the hardest designs when it comes to juggernaut.....oh And JuggaDoom
Everyday with post thanks rob
Would love to see a crossover where the Flash gains the power of the Juggernaut....
Oh hella yeah. The strength of juggernaut and the speed of the flash, he’d be literally unstoppable. Not even superman could slow him down.
That kinda happened when he got the powers of both the Speed Force and the Strength Force.
Peace.
Its funny because spidey fights a lot of villains where his win condition is just to survive because of how outclassed he is
damn, i need to pay more attention. took me almost 30 second into the video before I realized it was colossus and not juggernaut.
Ah, writers find a way to let Spider-Man win this fight. Real physics doesn’t actually exist in comics.
I need to read Avengers vs X-Men in preparation for Avengers Secret Wars and the X-Men's Arrival in Phase 7 of the MCU.
If Spider Man returns to this fight with an armor upgrade like a carnage/venom symbiote, or a modified iron spider, he'd win. Normal spidey would get worn out by Juggy Colossus because the stone controls his endurance.
