Well the passion tester was less spectacular than the build up to it! You know, it’s nice just to play those machines for the anticipation of an outcome. However, Pauline, you could have saved your penny, as I could have told you that “you are a smasher”! Rick, obviously, is a man with good discernment. I like Rick’s parting comment as he read the choices, “you’re not heartless!”. What a classic English understatement! I love you guys! We had a great look round the museum. It was interesting to see the Triang TT models again, and the old 60’s an 70’s locomotives. Another commenter adds that the younger people, looking to make a quick buck, are putting up prices for the older models. However you seem to be able to find some bargains on your model railway exhibition searches. Thank you for allowing us to accompany you on your very nice visit to the museum. Take care. We are off to the Thirsk exhibition on Sunday and I hope I can grab a bargain loco as it's been a while since I bought one. Trains and toys??? NICE! FOr years I was a toy collector- I bought, fixed, and sold old toys from the 60s and 70s. I loved going to toy shows, and then the hobby changed as it was taken over by younger folks into making a fast buck rather than trade and deal.
Never really got into doctor who only as far as putting mums wash basket on my head when I was 2 as it was as tall as me then and walking up the hallway saying to her I’m a derelict (Darlek) hehe ,Got a nice lord Westwood today in box from a certain Liverpool store good price too ,all the best to you and Pauline ,Rick, Mark 👍🏻😃
Glad you made a pt 2 .The first was great pt 2 the same ,it just jogs our memories of happy times ,of some times Christmas or birthday pressies . Keep up the good work .
Super, I like the awesome train display, but also so much memories of the models of my youth. Was great when Star Wars arrived, I am a science fiction films fan, not geeky, just love the special effects. Thanks for sharing. I live in Suffolk-Lowestoft, so I will have to visit some of these museums and fun features. Ps , I am 63.
Hi Paul, there was an awful lot to see there, I remember seeing Star Wars at the cinema when it first came out and it was probably the first film I saw at the cinema and I would have been 7. Pauline is a Star Trek fan but luckily not enough to cause arguments! Cheers Rick ☮️🚂😅
