They just prolonged the software support and you get good Pixel 6 devices for < 110 USD and 6 Pro for < 140 USD 😂
I love pixel phones. Any of these are good deals depending on your budget. Google has improved these phones with software. Idc what anyone says. If your budget is less than $200 bucks, grab a pixel 6pro. You'll be very happy with it. It's super smooth & fast. Same with the 7pro. The pixel magic is real. Do they heat up? Sure, so does my iPhone 13pro. They don't overheat like others would want you to believe. These phones are so much better than anything you're gonna find in the market for the same price. There simply isn't any comparison when you go dollar to dollar amount. Blessing's, my friends.
It was clear after the pixel 5 (which had a mid range snapdragon 765G) Google did not care to prioritize performance and instead wanted to optimize as much as they could. It has worked to an extent but games show the difference is very much there compared to other chip makers, if benchmarks didn’t already confirm that. Technically the pixel 6 pro has the best GPU of the bunch. Reaching a max 2.1 TFOPs, whereas even the 9 pro is only reaching a max of about 1.6 TFLOPs. It baffles me they not only could give only 50 percent cpu gains in 4 years but also downgraded the GPU in the process.

I'm quite content with my P7 pro and plan to hold onto it until Google brings out their next big camera upgrades -both the main (wide) and the telephoto sensors needs new sensor to catch-up with the competition. Said that, the 1/1.31" Samsung made main sensor is still capable and seldom disappoints. Google's computational image processing however has lost its edge and needs some overhaul.
