All Huckebeins have their connector there to connect the generator to its weapon. This is the first time the OG model is shown doing it though historically it just carries it in front of its chest. But the MK II has always done this, and the MK III/Exbein is connected to the AM Gunner the same way.

Huh... Pretty sure only MK2 has "G-Impact Cannon". On MK3, it's on Gunner only, and it's called "Full Impact Cannon"...
