You never hear a TV chef today say "if you can't afford _ then use _" because the show isn't about teaching people how to cook, it's about teaching people how to be snobs. Keith reminds me of my grandfather, a down-to-earth man cooking good food without unnecessary pretense but with a cool glass of wine close at hand.
I'm a good cook today partly because I grew up watching him. Died a bit too early but at least he enjoyed the finer things in life. I wish I could've met him. R.I.P. Keith.
love this cook, he's my fav' from BBC. Unpretentious, good humour and always has a few sips of wine while cooking => if you're going to slave over the stove you might as well have a little drink! :) and...charming as he is, I would have gone for the mussel: moules marinières - delish!
Floyd is the great. He has such great personality and humor, and is always honest.
Love Keith FLoyd he was like family! Thank you for the post bbc
Loved Keith Floyd he was such a character. R.i.p Sir ❤
Keith Floyd's honesty, integrity & good humour shall be missed by many of us.
R. I. P.
a top man, a decent bloke, a legend. take your pick its a term of endearment for a man.
What a Man ...Irreplaceable and very much missed in today's world.
That is called Charisma.....sadly lacking in todays multi-millionaire TV chefs....

My culinary hero!
will always be a geezer..nuff said
Still the best
I miss the intro with the Strangler's song. That always made me smile because it was so incongruous. Quite an absurd choice for a cooking show!
Floyd loved the stranglers. I bet he liked the odd smoke too.
Charming as ever RIP
BBC used to make shows like this and now are losing funding. Sad times and a result of bad programming and management.
HE is AWESOME!! Hahahaha .... he's always drinking!!
delicious...floyd seems 2 b nyc person.
Moules mariniere! yumm yumm! xD
Charming and good looking.
That poor cameraman :S
Incidentally, this has to be the one time that he didn't get his lens steamed up
Note the director, David Pritchard and Floyd...two big egos, constantly battling with each other over who actually “owned” the show.
When you have a way to get them money without advertising this will not disappear
What's with the kiss?
A great cook and admits it! Not a chef, unlike Jaime the hairy bikers etc who think they are chefs not forgetting Tanya off coarse!
@TheSnotrag2009
at least he is not drunk
What's a geezer?
A bloke. A fella.
you can drink anythink you like lol
he is one mess of a cook
Keith Floyd always put too much oil and butter in his dishes, too greasy, I would only add in a quarter of what he uses.
