Plus, K.C. is staring down a very difficult defensive schedule this year and teams are going to adjust to what they did last year. This screams of a let down season for almost everyone on K.C. Drake seems like a serious risk, too. The dolphins have shown little interest in having a go-to back, outside of a short period with Ajayi when he was a 200 yard game machine. It's unlikely that changes this year. A lot of people predicted Miller to do this a while back, and it never happened (even when he went to Houston). Most likely, especially with the Dolphins in rebuilding mode and the lack of running back opportunity that comes with it, Drake will have a very replaceable year (9-11 points per game, which is easy to grab off the free agent list as running backs start dropping like flies due to injuries, as happens virtually every single season).

I know the NFL wants this KC team all out there, because they're big for the market, so they will probably try their hardest to give the shortest suspension possible (cause they don't actually care). I’m EXTREMELY HIGH on Damien Williams. His early career was doomed by player killer Adam Gase. He’s on one of the best offenses in history. Way better pass catcher than Hyde and more versatile. Chiefs run a high tempo O w/ a lot of motion. I believe he will finish top 5 and be the number 1 league winner next year if his ADP stays in the 3rd round. I LOVE the fact that people are skeptical lol.

For instance I got Bell in the second, Cooper in the 3rd, Gurley in the 4th. Plus I was the 7th overall pick which is actually an advantage. Being in the middle means you get a well rounded team. If you are first you get the cream of the crop sure but then you aren't picking again until the 24th and 25th, whereas being in the middle you automatically get 2 top 20 guys, depends also how your draft mechanics work though.

Love this list. I got Damien William in a package trade where I gave up Sony Michel before the Damien harris hype started to pick up. So far I don’t really LOVE penny. I know the opportunity is there if Carson goes down but on film Carson is the MUCH better back. Pennys balance isn’t as good and goes down a lot easier than Carson. Where penny would go down on a foot tackle Carson might elude a tackle and get 10+ more yards after intial contact. I’d be interested in the differences in the YAC between Carson and Penny and I bet Carson’s is ALOT higher. Seriously youtube both 2018 highlights and u will see what I mean
Penny had 3.40 yards per carry after contact. Carson had 3.36 yards per carry after contact. Penny also had 1.60 yards created per carry. Carson had 1.70. So honestly they're really comparable

Good video but Henderson would have more upside than Harris if TG3 and Sony were BOTH out for some time. Both great offenses, but the Rams are more of a bellcow type and you know Brady loves J. White and Burkehead when healthy. At his ADP though you cant go wrong
Carlos Hyde will get touches with Damien Williams,and probably has a chip on his shoulder from being dealt to two teams the past two years,I smell a very possible committee. Damien,of course,holds the most upside of the two but I think his ADP is a bit steep. I'd draft Josh Jacobs instead.

Hyde's really not that great. Never been over 1K yards and has a career 4.0 YPC, including 3.3 last season and 3.9 the year before. Not to mention an extensive injury history
Fantasy Football Advice I agree that Hyde is not that great but rbs that he shares a backfield with never do well because he always seems to carve out a role for himself. Guys like Chubb are stuck in a time share until Hyde leaves. I don’t think Williams is good enough to completely block out Hyde. I could be wrong but I don’t think we can look at Williams as a sure thing and I think there are more talented backs going in his range.

The Lions signed CJ Anderson in the offseason 2. Theo Riddick is still there for 3rd downs. 3. The Lions D isn't great so Kerryon may get game-scripted out a lot. 4. When was the last time a Lions RB was tearing it up in fantasy?
How do you go about taking Derrick Henry. Cause he is the worst to judge he so inconsistent. Didn't do anything all season and then gets a million points in 3 games it's just frustrating so I'm thinking of staying away from him altogether but his upside is hard to do that
Shane Howard Johnson over Bell. The influence of an athletic QB like Kyler Murray will help Johnson when Arizona are running the zone read. Adams I don’t believe should be viewed as risk-less. A lot of variables have changed in Green Bay since last year. If you’re going receiver at 6 - Hopkins is safe.

Everyone who has been in that Andy Reid system balls out. Very similar to the Steelers who can plug and play. Carlos Hyde couldn't keep the starting job in Cleveland. Then gets traded to Jags who desperately needed RB help. This dude couldn't keep Yeldon off the field. With Fournette battling injuries, I'd think you keep an RB like Hyde around as sort of insurance as well as a one two punch. Especially since they also let Yeldon go. But no, they let him go. Teams don't let "very good rbs" in their prime just go like that. Lastly, the coaching staff (RB coach, Andy Reid... Have gone out their way to declare Williams the clear starter. Usually you'll hear coach speak this time of year where they'll say "it's a competition" or it's "anybody's job". That's not the case here. Now to your point, we don't have a huge sample size with Williams. But if he's going to be the guy in KC, he's gonna be a monster provided that he stays healthy. Reid doesn't usually use RB committees. He stick with a bellcow and rides him.
2 players I really want this season is Juju and William's. I may end up grabbing Juju in the 1st round this year and nab William's in the 2nd round. It's some reaches ADP wise but such a beast start to a team

@@johndawgsmoke1245 Well...most of my friends didn't show up for the draft and were on autodraft. There were a lot of players ranked higher that shouldn't have been. For instance I got Bell in the second, Cooper in the 3rd, Gurley in the 4th. Plus I was the 7th overall pick which is actually an advantage. Being in the middle means you get a well rounded team. If you are first you get the cream of the crop sure but then you aren't picking again until the 24th and 25th, whereas being in the middle you automatically get 2 top 20 guys, depends also how your draft mechanics work though.

So far I don’t really LOVE penny. I know the opportunity is there if Carson goes down but on film Carson is the MUCH better back. Pennys balance isn’t as good and goes down a lot easier than Carson. Where penny would go down on a foot tackle Carson might elude a tackle and get 10+ more yards after intial contact. I’d be interested in the differences in the YAC between Carson and Penny and I bet Carson’s is ALOT higher. Seriously youtube both 2018 highlights and u will see what I mean
Penny had 3.40 yards per carry after contact. Carson had 3.36 yards per carry after contact. Penny also had 1.60 yards created per carry. Carson had 1.70. So honestly they're really comparable

Good video but Henderson would have more upside than Harris if TG3 and Sony were BOTH out for some time. Both great offenses, but the Rams are more of a bellcow type and you know Brady loves J. White and Burkehead when healthy. At his ADP though you cant go wrong
Henderson would for sure have more upside. But you need to spend a 5th/6th on him, while Harris is going in the 13th/14th

Carlos Hyde will get touches with Damien Williams,and probably has a chip on his shoulder from being dealt to two teams the past two years,I smell a very possible committee. Damien,of course,holds the most upside of the two but I think his ADP is a bit steep. I'd draft Josh Jacobs instead.

The chiefs do have Carlos Hyde so I’m a little scared of Williams. Hyde always seems to find a way to produce
Hyde's really not that great. Never been over 1K yards and has a career 4.0 YPC, including 3.3 last season and 3.9 the year before. Not to mention an extensive injury history
Fantasy Football Advice I agree that Hyde is not that great but rbs that he shares a backfield with never do well because he always seems to carve out a role for himself. Guys like Chubb are stuck in a time share until Hyde leaves. I don’t think Williams is good enough to completely block out Hyde. I could be wrong but I don’t think we can look at Williams as a sure thing and I think there are more talented backs going in his range.

I’m in a keeper league where you give up a draft pick for when the kept player was taken in the previous years draft. Free agent keepers are 15th round picks. I will be giving up my first round 8th overall pick for Saquon Barkley. For my second keeper I can keep Damien Williams as a 15th round pick.... should I do that? You could talk me into flipping Henry & Jones but Melvin & Mixon are the clear 1 & 2 from your list. Kerryon is at the bottom, IMO, for 4 reasons:
1. The Lions signed CJ Anderson in the offseason
2. Theo Riddick is still there for 3rd downs.
3. The Lions D isn't great so Kerryon may get game-scripted out a lot.
4. When was the last time a Lions RB was tearing it up in fantasy?
How do you go about taking Derrick Henry. Cause he is the worst to judge he so inconsistent. Didn't do anything all season and then gets a million points in 3 games it's just frustrating so I'm thinking of staying away from him altogether but his upside is hard to do that

Adams I don’t believe should be viewed as risk-less. A lot of variables have changed in Green Bay since last year. If you’re going receiver at 6 - Hopkins is safe.

There just isn't enough production for him to be fantasy viable without another injury to Guice. He's got basically no pass catching upside, so with Guice returning you won't be able to use him

@@therise620 I wish we could place a bet. On who finishes with the most fantasy point out of Hyde and Williams. It's not so much William's talent as it is that offensive scheme. Everyone who has been in that Andy Reid system balls out. Very similar to the Steelers who can plug and play. Carlos Hyde couldn't keep the starting job in Cleveland. Then gets traded to Jags who desperately needed RB help. This dude couldn't keep Yeldon off the field. With Fournette battling injuries, I'd think you keep an RB like Hyde around as sort of insurance as well as a one two punch. Especially since they also let Yeldon go. But no, they let him go. Teams don't let "very good rbs" in their prime just go like that. Lastly, the coaching staff (RB coach, Andy Reid... Have gone out their way to declare Williams the clear starter. Usually you'll hear coach speak this time of year where they'll say "it's a competition" or it's "anybody's job". That's not the case here. Now to your point, we don't have a huge sample size with Williams. But if he's going to be the guy in KC, he's gonna be a monster provided that he stays healthy. Reid doesn't usually use RB committees. He stick with a bellcow and rides him.
