    is the bassline from the sub 37? if so is it a single note only? didnt se the ecording of the bassline!

      As a matter a fact, it isn't! I'm using multiple bass sounds and alternate between sounds, samples & synths. In this cathe the bass comes from an FM bass sound I've altered and sampled into the octatrack

    Modes can potentially be useful.
    Basic: major/minor scale
    Advanced: melodic minor, lydian, mixolydian, locrian, phrygian, dorian, monochromatic, etc (I probably forgot one or 2 modes.)
    An arpeggio is very similar to a scale. The main difference seems to be that some notes are not used, the scale pattern is shuffled around in order, and/OR it generally repeats for awhile.
    One can also theoretically create an arpeggio that will seemlessly integrate with chords that use a key change (yet without ever playing a root note in the chords).
