I've listened to this about 100 times since I found it 3 days ago. I love it. Her voice, the minimal, but perfect, guitar accompaniment. Everything about is great.
I've been starting my mornings with Aoife O'Donovan singing indoors as the birds seem to have started singing louder, I guess it's there way of competing with the music floating out my windows,or maybe they sound louder as there drawing closer to the house and singing along with there fellow lover of song Aoife O'Donovan. ☮️

A very nice surprise. Besides being a spectacular Joni rendition, the slowed down version reminded of the perfect Laura Nyro technique with a raw and beautiful reminder of Rickie Lee Jones. If you can pull off all three of those immensely accomplished women in one song, then you will be quite successful, no doubt.

It is nothing like the original until far into the "INTRO" like chop and talk style - she is so good you love the sound of her voice ....but, it loses the feel and rhythm of the song I love. Great but, different - I guess is how I feel. GBjj

What makes the song difficult to sing is the pace, the rapid changes. When sung slow it loses momentum, despite the quite pleasing voice. A mistake, I think.
Talented girl; too bad she didn't bring the melody along to this rendition.

Could you imagine having her singing high-harmony in a trio or foursome. Smooth high vocal with wonderful tone. She does sing unusual lead melodies. I'd like to hear her with a vocal harmony under her.
