I read Clare Wise’s book, ‘Not That Kind Of Love’ - hard to read in places but so touching to read of her and Greg’s sibling love. The book speaks to anyone dealing with a sick loved one and the grief that follows. Can recommend on kindle
I so agree with Emma's comment about the psychosis of buying. The lovely generous spirit of giving has been hijacked in many cases by obsessive hunting, guilt over not being able to afford the latest thing or going into debt. Being able to sustain the true meaning of the holiday: peace on Earth, Goodwill towards men because the Savior was born-Emmanuel is possible though-even as our materialistic culture plummets down the cliff of overindulging and buy buy buy the latest gadget . I try to be mindful. Don't get me wrong I love to give gifts to friends and coworkers but I want to do it out of a pure motive not because I feel compelled or pushed. I love the spirit they both exhibited here. The Spirit of Christmas is to be sustained not just during this season and this video is a poignant reminder.
