I hate when someone who doesn’t know the authentic taste and look of mantu to make it on public television. Authentic mantu does NOT have carrots or potatoes!

Afghan cuisine is very much similar to Punjabi cuisine, I think. These crops, vegetables, meat are all found in the Indian subcontinent region. And in today's world, there is something called a transport system, so we can easily import and export vegetables from different countries. Every country has it's own cuisine, some may be little similar, but ultimately tradition wins. And for the Afghan cuisine, it is worth a try. 🥣😉
