    Thank you very much the moderator for your valuable teaching...its really made easy of some hard understandings. I would like focus on a matter of discriminant validity. There is a criticism of this validity and made a remedy named Heterotrait-Monotrait ratio (HTMT) by Henseler et al.,2015. If u kindly make a understanding of this thing ,would be very beneficial. Thanks

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      usually in research, people talk about many different types of validity checks. The application is diverse and cumbersome to understand. you should go for convergent and discriminant validity for any good research. In the video, I have explained the process to check convergent and discriminant validity.

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If u have changed only a few elements or items in the scale, u need to perform only CFA but if u change major items or elements in the scale, u have to perform EFA and CFA.

    can we cheek validity and reliability of questionnaire which is not on likert scale?????????????????

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      there are different types of validity. for a non-Likert scale, you can go for content validity, face validity, test-retest validity. Further, Mr.Qaisar I am not an expert in statistics, I don't know about other methods of validity testing.

    Sir your video is a copy of data and presentation of a senior SEM Professor of India. Why dont you demonstrate using your own data? why just be a parrot repeating what the other Professor has said long time ago with his own dataset.

    • @adilzia
      @adilzia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Mr. Raj Vohra. Kindly keep in mind that whatever knowledge teachers communicate to their students is not completely self-generated. We all read the same books but understand differently. As a teacher, it's the way of explaining that matters. If I am even repeating what other professors have already explained then what's your problem. That professor is also explaining and giving references to many other professors that he red. Mind it, knowledge creation is not the main objective of my videos rather it is knowledge transfer in the simplest way possible. I hope it makes sense to you.

    • @rajvohra1381
      @rajvohra1381 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@adilzia But it would be good Sir if we learn from your data as well. And if you feel knowledge transfer is important then in that case please make videos with just one slide which has a link redirecting the viewer to the other Professors's Lecture on TH-cam.
      Why should anybody listen to you if you arent different? Hope you understand Sir and make vidoes on your data and explain the problems you faced in your data set and how you overcame it. Dont take it as critisicm but an idea that you can work on.
      And if you dont have data then say that the Data or idea has come from Prof. so and So. I hope you kow about copyrights and plagiarism? Copying ideas also comes under Plagiarism. What to tak of Data without acknowledgement
      Best Wishes
