I had high hopes for Ash to make it this time after the disappointing conclusion to the Sinnoh League

Ash won the Sinnoh League?
Ash won the Unova League?
Ash battled every Totem Pokémon & got every Z-crystal?
Serena went to Alola after Hoenn? (While Ash was still there.)
Ash took part in the Galar League on top of the World Coronation Series?
Although I am happy that Ash is currently the champion of Alola and the world champion I would have liked Ash to have become the champion of Sinnoh or Kalos because of his improvement as a trainer and I am glad that this video can give me the opportunity to see one of those options.

Ion think they made him win because they knew it’ll make no sense for his character. If he would’ve won both League & Elite League he would’ve been Kalos champ mean g he probably would’ve have 2 stay there cause he’s champ, which would’ve kinda ruined his character sense Ash always wants 2 travel.
You know now I feel like going to Nintendo and threatenin- I mean negotiate about how ash came back for a rematch with Alain with him coming with greninja and all of his Pokémon * and by all I mean all of them *

Ash winning would be completely jumping the shark and take so much away from the series (XY already does this all throughout of course, but this would be to an even greater and crazier extent, there'd be no coming back from it)

@@Zanolith The Kalos league means nothing especially special to Ash or the series, it's just another league. Winning his first league in a series with no main rival, just a regular rival that he has no especially meaningful relationship and storyline/parallel with would be disappointing and unfitting. Ash winning in his immature and uncharacteristic self would be a slap in the face. Ash winning would lead to start finishing up with the series, and XY had no plans or building blocks in place for that at all. And the biggest thing would be winning with Greninja instead of Pikachu is seriously series ruining.

No point taking ash to the finals, putting him against someone he was yet to defeat, make ash serious about winning the league, heck, even making the title hint at Ash winning if he wasn't going to bring home the gold in a series he was far more mature and serious in than anything else
Greninja's also the one with a unique form while Pikachu at the time had nothing. Plus he already proved his strength by beating two pseudos in the finals

You try to make it sound like Ash winning the Kalos League would be a bad move when it's better than having so much backlash and hate emerge cos Ash got robbed. You don't take someone to the finals and hype up the league this much if u only disappoint the fanbase in the end. That's just bad writing, something even you cannot deny
People already clowned on ash enough for being a loser, and having a loss this bad didn't help anything. Some people aren't even satisfied with the Alola league win compared to Kalos so that alone should tell u how big a deal the Kalos League was

1. What if the Team Rocket trio turn good after the Orange islands?
2. What if Ash started with both Pikachu and Charmander who'd latter became Charizard?
3. What There was a Scarlet and violet anime where a grown up Ash sends his kid(s) on their Pokémon journey?
4. What If Brock and Misty never left Ash?
5. What if Alain is Ash's older brother?
6. What if Ash rematch all of his rivals that beat him in pervious Pokémon leagues?
7. What if Ash took on all the elite 4 and Champions in every region after defeating Leon?
8. What If Red is Ash's father?
9. What if we get to see a grown up Ash and all of his traveling friends?
All these videos were premade last year. Rn I’m working on the journeys rewrite but I’ll consider some of them when I get to another off season

this is why greninja is my favorite mon and in pokemon brick bronze which was taken down by nintendo and was the most popular game in roblox i always chose to greninja and the final boss uses a mega charizard X which i always one shot when im underleveled

Hot take: i was actually fine ash lost to alain. I get why but alains charizard had more experience and also had a moveset of powerful moves like stab dragon claw. Alola make sense. But no greninja and goodra release

I'm more upset that they didn't adapt the Generation 3 remakes much, if at all. I was surprised that Wallace's niece appeared in Pokémon Journeys instead of the XY series.
I understand why May didn't return once again to show off Mega Blaziken. But the writers could have had Zinnia appear to try stopping Team Flare and meet/convince Alain to change sides for the good guys. Imagine her Mega Salamence battling Mega Charizard X? It would have been as hype as the battle against Steven's Mega Metagross. Heck, Wallace Swampert could have gotten Mega Evolution as well.

Another Short and Sweet What If! It makes sense that not too much would have changed after his win, but it makes sense that both Greninja and Serena wouldn't leave yet until Ash challenges the Elite four and Champion. I was shocked when Ash lost the Kalos League in the anime, but I didn't let that get the better of me, that time I feel that Ash could probably win the next league since this was the closest he came to win one and he does so in Alola which was fitting since he got so close to Alola and becoming it's first Champion was fitting considering the Sun and Moon games. However, I could have liked to see him win the league, so he can challenge the Elite four and Champion since he never did it before, even though the Orange League was the closest thing we got to that. Ash would have definitely brought his old Pokemon to challenge the Elite four and Champion since they are the very best in the region. If he did challenge the Elite four and Champion Diantha, he would have definitely won. It would also make sense for Ash to travel the world like in Journeys. Now fitting due to the fact we are getting Pokemon Legends: ZA, The Kalos hype is real!
Ash will face the elite 4 and champion before he becomes the champion, ash becomes alola champion quickly because they don't have yet stablish the elith 4 so ash just had to fight the rep champion for the title 1st champ alola which he will decide who will be the elite 4 members when the time comes.
Great video. I think if Ash won the Kalos league, i think it would have been fine to show the champion league but have Ash lose to Diantha. I think this could have made a great transition to Alola. It would show Ash has the potential of being champion and foreshadowing him being champion of Alola.

@@Zanolith even so they basically contradicted everything the series was building towards in Ash finally getting the league win he deserved. They took him to the finals, made him battle someone he fought before and never beat, and the title basically spelt out Ash's win here, yet they chose to rob him cos he wasn't allowed to make any progress besides being a finalist
They shouldn't think they can rob Ash of a win like this and not expect serious backlash as a result. Even if they shouldn't be harassed, they needed to face some sort of consequence cos ignoring what the fans want, especially in a crucial time like this, is just BS
What's worse is that they didn't even have the initiative to fix things when they brought Alain back, especially during the Masters 8 when Ash could have finally settled the score. Heck, even Aim To Be Mid could have solved this problem if they got Greninja and Alain back during ash's finale and let Ash win here to give the XY fans some closure
